Right here,

Where you are,

Is perfect.

Taking a deep breath into the body,

Feeling this air entering you and then exhaling,

Letting your eyelids close and then keeping them closed intentionally.

This is your foundation to move through your anger.

Today is not about why you're angry or what made you angry,

But where are you angry.

And you're immediately invited with this question to become aware of where you feel the anger.

Somewhere particular in your body,

In your whole body as one or beyond your body,

Wherever it may be,

Let yourself settle there.

Begin to feel the anger.

And this first sounds like a daunting task,

Maybe,

But here no judgment is needed.

In fact,

It is not desired here because anger is met without judgment,

Without further analysis.

Just knowing this is where I feel angry and then feeling it,

Being curious of the sensations that come with it.

At times they may feel uncontrollable and so you just trust and let the anger come for you to experience,

To feel this anger right in you or beyond you,

Wherever it is.

The mind will come with judgment so easily and so easily we've dealt with judgment in regards to anger before,

So this time we're just here to feel.

Can you feel the depths and the vastness of this anger as you're being more and more with it,

As it maybe feel constricting?

Whatever you feel is perfect because you're letting the energy of your anger move a little more by feeling it,

We are with it,

Giving it some space.

And speaking of space,

You're now invited to treat your anger like we treat heat in our body,

Heat moves from the center of us outward,

Leaving us through our pores in the form of sweat.

This anger that you're feeling,

Can you treat it just like the heat?

Can you allow it to emanate somewhere from within,

Wherever you feel that place is?

Even if this place is most or all of your body,

Can you let it then travel towards your skin,

The boundary of your body,

And then allowing it to,

In a sense,

Evaporate,

Leave you through all of your skin's pores?

If visuals are helpful to you,

You may even envision yourself here,

Glowing from this heat of anger that is leaving you through every pore of your body,

The bottom of your feet,

The top of your head,

And everywhere in between.

And at times,

The anger may soar a little more,

And that is intended too,

So more and more can leave you.

Sometimes it may even pulsate.

Here you're invited to allow it all to happen and just feel,

Sensing the sensations of anger evaporating,

And each time your mind begins to judge the process again,

You return to where you feel your anger still the most,

And then allow it to travel towards the boundaries of you,

Your skin,

Letting it escape as heat and pure energy.

Sometimes this may feel at times,

Or all the time,

But that is meant to be.

And then again,

When the mind thinks,

Doubts,

And analyzes or intellectualizes your anger and the experience you're having,

And you return to the sensations of this very anger again,

Maybe even envisioning yourself once more,

How you're glowing from this anger,

Feeling like a ball of fire at times,

Letting it leave you,

And in a sense,

Letting go into all of this,

This experience of glowing from anger,

Knowing you're doing all that is needed to release it,

This time not targeted at anyone,

Especially not yourself,

Just simply letting it evaporate and feeling this.

New nuances of sensations might arise as old ones fade or leave you through the pores of your skin,

And you remain curious to feel.

And then when judgment comes in again,

Or any form of thinking,

You know your way back to feeling,

To sensing how you continue to glow from this anger and how its sensations may now change,

Shift in intensity,

Or even location,

Texture,

Or even color,

If that is something you're visually letting yourself experience.

Subtleties may fade,

And you may notice how your feeling of anger is ever-changing,

Maybe diminishing,

Settling.

Whatever you are experiencing in regards to how the sensations around anger are shifting,

I would like you to take a few moments to acknowledge this shift,

This change,

Or even diminishing,

Acknowledging that you are bringing this on by being with your anger and allowing it to flow more naturally without suppressing it.

This is you,

Your power.

Your power even over-angers such a powerful emotion in itself.

And then here gently bowing your head in acknowledgment to yourself,

And the act of sitting with your anger,

Being with your anger,

And holding space here for yourself,

A beautiful and courageous act that you are doing for yourself.

If it feels appropriate to you,

Now is the time to show yourself some gratitude for what you have been doing as an act of self-love,

Self-care,

A simple internal thank you,

Or hands over your heart,

Or anything else that feels appropriate to express your thanks.

Even if right now isn't the time,

Then the acknowledgment that you have been with yourself and with your anger is also plenty.

You are courageous.

You are powerful.

Even these past moments and minutes are evidence that cannot be denied.

And with all this being said,

I now invite you to take one deep inhale into all of your body,

Exhaling through all of your pores that just released some or all of this anger,

And inhaling fresh air through all the pores of your skin,

Exhaling through all of your skin again,

Inhaling once more in the same way,

And as you now exhale,

Opening your eyes again,

Returning to here and now with your eyes open and a shifted state of anger within you.
