We are all connected by this light. Inspiration comes from the archetype Sagittarius and Golden Age Leadership Astrology, as well as the Winter Solstice. Allow yourself to be your own teacher.

What would it feel like if you allowed yourself to be your own mother,

Your own father,

Your own teacher,

Your own lover,

Your own friend?

It's not that we don't need other people,

Or want other people in our lives,

Or have other people in our lives.

But can you be all of that for you?

Really feeling into your own wisdom,

Knowing that you have your own back.

No matter what,

You have your own back.

You've got you.

So take care of you as you set yourself up and find balance within and around you,

Reducing the stimulation as much as you can so that you can sink into this practice,

This tool you have,

This practice that allows you to nourish yourself,

To take care of yourself,

And also to dive into that inner wisdom,

And to have the experiences you need to have for your ultimate power,

Love,

And wisdom.

And so take a few breaths as you feel yourself sinking down.

You also feel the earth rising up to meet you where you're at today,

Knowing you have your own back and you are also always supported,

Connecting with the ultimate source power within you and around you,

Knowing you are always supported.

And as you settle in here now for the practice of yoga nidra,

Take five more deep breaths in and out,

Letting the exhale be a full,

Audible sound out through the mouth.

And start to just feel your body breathing here,

Letting go of the effort,

And just notice your body breathing.

And from the inside,

Start to notice this beautiful,

Bright light starting to get brighter at the center of you.

Gets brighter and brighter and brighter and grows bigger and bigger.

Until this bright light starts to fill your whole body and surround your whole body with this white light.

And so that you are held here in this light.

You are held here in this light.

And just feel how you are held here in this light.

And as you repeat your sankalpa to yourself three times with confidence and wisdom and trust,

Let the words go.

And just watch the words being soaked into and becoming part of this white light.

And as your body rests here,

Bring all of your attention to the heart,

The lungs and the heart,

The center of you,

The place where no one gets to walk their muddy shoes through.

And dropping all of your attention down to the belly and down to the right hip and left hip,

Your pelvis,

Down your thighs,

To your knees,

And down to your shins and ankles,

Your heels on both feet.

And feel the sole of the right foot and the sole of the left foot.

And feel both soles together and the tops of the feet and all of your toes all together,

Both feet and legs together,

Rooted and anchored into the soles of your feet.

And then from the soles of the feet,

Move your awareness to the heels,

The back of the calves,

The back of the knees,

The back of the thighs,

The buttocks and the low back,

Spiraling up the spine to the back of the neck,

The back of the head,

The top of the head,

Melting down your forehead,

Softening the right eye and the left eye,

The space between the eyes,

Down the face to the mouth,

The tongue,

The jaw.

Relax your whole face all together.

Relax your whole face and head all together.

Awareness tracks down your neck,

Feeling into your right collarbone and the left collarbone,

And from both collarbones to the shoulders,

Down the arms,

All the way down to the hands,

Feeling the right palm of your hand and the left palm of your hand,

And all of your fingers all together,

Both the right and the left hand,

Your arms,

Your hands,

And fingers all together.

And awareness travels back down to the heart and the lungs,

Heart beating,

Lungs breathing,

As you relax the whole right side of your body and the whole left side of your body and your whole body together.

Relax your whole body in this white light.

And as you breathe in and out,

You feel this light around you expand out even more,

Bigger and brighter as you inhale.

And as you exhale,

All of your attention back into your own heart.

Inhale,

This white light expands out bigger and brighter all around you.

And as you exhale,

Back into your heart.

And just follow your breath like this,

Breathing in and out 14 more times,

Counting backwards.

Inhale,

You expand.

Exhale,

You contract.

And just let go of the counting now.

And watch your body breathing.

Watch your body breathing here.

Watch your body resting in this light,

Always supported,

Always guided,

Always protected.

And as you are aware of your body resting in space,

You notice this light getting brighter and brighter.

This light around you and within you is getting brighter and brighter.

And you let that brightness go.

And all of a sudden,

You see yourself just floating in darkness,

Floating in darkness.

There is no time and no space.

There is no you floating in darkness all around you.

And you let that go.

And the light reemerges,

Filling your body and surrounding you with bright light.

And you feel your body getting heavier and heavier.

You feel your body getting heavier and heavier,

Sinking down,

Down,

Down.

And as you let that go,

You feel your body getting lighter and lighter,

Floating up,

Up,

Up.

Your body feels lighter and lighter,

Floating in light.

And as you let that go,

You notice your body,

Your physical body,

Floating in this bright light.

But your physical body starts to disintegrate and disappear.

Your physical body starts to disappear.

And all that you see now is your light body.

The physical disintegrates.

And the light body emerges in its place,

Your light body.

And you feel the brightness.

This bright light is you.

This is you.

This is your energy,

This bright light floating in space from form to formless.

And the bright light that you are,

Your light body,

Expands and expands until you fill your whole room with light.

Your light body is encompassing your whole room.

And the light grows even bigger and brighter to fill your whole neighborhood.

And even brighter and bigger,

It spreads out and fills the whole city that you live in.

And it spreads even bigger now to fill the whole country that you live in.

And even brighter yet,

It starts to fill the whole half of the globe that you live on and the whole other half of the globe until this light,

Your light,

Fills the whole world with light,

Like a lighthouse.

Your light body filling the whole world with light.

And even further yet,

Filling the whole galaxy with light.

So there is no you,

Just your light body,

Expanding out into all places.

And then slowly you notice your light body coming back down into your own sphere,

Into your home,

Into your room.

You are still noticing your light body.

The physical body has disappeared.

And when you look around,

You see a bunch of other light bodies,

Like little lighthouses everywhere,

Filling your community,

Your neighborhood,

Your city,

Your country.

Little balls of light everywhere,

Guiding each other home.

And once again,

This light,

All of the light,

All of these lighthouses merge,

Creating this one big light all together,

All together,

This one big light.

Again,

Filling this whole world with light together.

All of our lights and light bodies joining together to fill this world with light.

And you rest here in this light.

Even though your light is always connected with everyone's light,

You feel your light body slowly traveling back down to your own space,

Your own room,

Your own body.

And as you float back down to your own body,

You start to see your body reemerging again,

New,

Regenerated,

Renewed.

Your light body enters your physical body once again.

And you repeat your sankalpa to yourself three times with courage and confidence and faith.

The practice of yoga nidra is now complete.

Feel your body resting in your room,

In your space,

In your body.

Feel the integration of your light body with your physical body working together to create you,

To bring your gifts and your light into the world.

You can start to feel your body breathing,

Maybe taking some breaths on purpose,

Moving slowly tonight and doing something to nourish yourself deeply so that you feel this inner light always with you.

Take your time.

Move slowly as you come out of this practice.
