My name is Carla and this is a guided channeled meditation and is a replay from one of the live sessions here on Insight Timer.
Do enjoy.
Decide if you want to lie down or sit upright or if you want to be in a chair.
Just choose your space,
Choose your place.
Maybe you roll the neck a few times,
Maybe you roll the shoulders.
Just really listening to what your body needs today,
What is feeling good for you.
So just inviting you to find your stillness.
The most important thing is that you are able to invite in the energy of comfort and a beautiful alignment and elongation into the spine.
And maybe you'd like to face your palms inwards or downwards to really go internal today,
To really connect with yourself.
Or maybe if you prefer,
You can place your hands outwards,
Facing up in order to receive the delicious energy available to you from the universe.
Just trust your intuition in making that choice.
You can even switch halfway through.
And beginning to invite in conscious breathing by bringing your attention to that flow of the breath moving in and out.
And I think sometimes in meditation there can be some reluctance,
You know,
Questioning.
Is that really all there is?
I just focus on my breath and what if thoughts come up and I get distracted and that's okay?
It really is as simple as allowing yourself to focus and refocus.
It's okay to get distracted,
It's okay to have thoughts.
This is the nature of the mind,
Of the ego.
Especially in our society,
This contemporary society,
A place of so much digital media,
So many airwaves,
So many flashing images.
We are so programmed to have a short attention span and so this practice of meditation becomes even more important.
This practice of bringing calm maybe some days seem easier than others and that's okay too.
There's no such thing here as a step backwards.
There is just the practice of being present here in this now moment.
Coming back to the doorway of the breath,
Feeling it fill your stomach,
Your lungs,
Sending nourishing energy to all parts of your body.
And allowing the sweet release of toxins in the exhale and just gently inviting yourself to find peace and calm.
In the quieting of the mind and the focus on the breath.
And sometimes there may be a sense of,
But that's boring.
And then you remember that the feeling of being in your body is so potent,
So powerful,
So calming.
That it cannot equate to boring unless you choose that.
And so just inviting you in to choose the feeling of peacefulness,
Restfulness opposed to boredom.
And just bringing a sense of compassion to that ebb and flow of becoming distracted,
Catching yourself and bringing yourself back to your center,
Back to your breathing.
And maybe you begin to invite in a feeling of elongation into the spine as you inhale.
Feeling almost as if you become this antenna,
This receiver of good energy as you allow the breath to charge up all of your energetic centers.
Just trusting that the good energy and the breathing and the breath will automatically go to where it is needed.
And just inviting you to see if you can locate the feeling of your heartbeat or your pulse.
You may feel it in your fingertips or your hands,
Maybe even your wrists,
Maybe it's in your chest center.
See if you can feel that beating.
It's very subtle.
And if you can't locate it today,
That's okay.
Maybe you just want to pretend that you can feel it,
That pulsing.
That reminder that even as you sit in stillness,
There is so much happening within the body.
Just see if in between the in and the out breath and the out and the in breath,
If you can just pause for a moment and feel that pulsating within the stillness in between breathing.
Just see if you can stay with that kind of controlled breathing and pausing for a while.
And for those of you who feel perhaps a little bit confused,
I will just speak through the breathing rhythm for a few moments to help you out.
You inhale all the way deep into your stomach.
Hold the breath just for a moment and allow yourself to sink into the stillness and the pulsating of your blood flow.
Exhale very slowly.
And hold the breath and just sink into that stillness.
Inhale fully.
And hold just surrendering to that stillness,
That pulsating and release.
Just continue like this at your own pace.
You want to feel comfortable at each moment of this flow,
So allow your breathing pattern to follow what feels good for you.
And this pattern,
This breathing,
This practice,
It really allow you to sink deep into a theta state.
This is a place where you can choose to program yourself with new empowering ideas and beliefs if you're ready to take them on.
And so I'd like to encourage you to weave together some words of affirmation and power for yourself.
But before you do so,
Just stay with the breath and listen.
Listen carefully to my words for you rush into making affirmations.
The universe does not speak in negative terms.
And so one should not use the word don't or can't or one should not plant the seeds of the thing that one is trying to let go of.
But rather choosing what you are facing,
What you are calling in,
What you are replacing the old beliefs with.
And so if you wish to step into a space of I am powerful,
I am empowered,
This is far more powerful than saying I'm not a victim.
Right?
So just be very conscious about the kinds of words you choose.
We also don't want to use the word trying.
Because trying,
The subtext of trying is I fail,
I try but I don't succeed.
And we rather want to say I already am that.
And the truth,
Of course,
Is that you are already everything you wish to be.
You just need to remember the power of who you are.
And I will say some affirmations.
Of course,
It's also important to say I,
Right?
Say it in the present tense.
And if they resonate for you,
You can repeat them or you can weave your own words in relation with your own intentions for your life right now.
I am divine.
I am sacred.
I am worthy.
I am powerful.
I am love.
I am loving.
I am loved.
I am powerful.
I am lovingly supported.
I am safe.
I am secure.
It is safe for me to be my authentic self.
I already am successful.
I already am accomplished.
I am joyfulness.
My very definition,
My very expression,
Who I am is love vibration.
And this aligns with joy,
Happiness,
Abundance and success.
I surrender.
I am aligned with the voice of intuition.
I listen to the stirrings of my soul.
I am love.
I am filled with healing energy.
I am aligned with my purpose.
I open my heart and I embrace life fully.
I open my arms and I receive love fully.
I open my mind and I receive mystical knowledges and understandings.
I open,
I open,
I crack myself open.
It is safe.
I am safe and secure.
All is well.
All is love.
This is the world I choose to live in.
A friendly universe.
This is the world I choose to believe in.
A universe of love.
I align with my hearts now.
I trust,
I trust,
I trust.
I step into trust.
I embrace the beautiful unfolding now.
And I trust that everything that is unfolding is in alignment with my highest good.
And I always ask the question,
Where is the blessing for I know there is always a blessing?
For that is the universe I choose to live in.
I choose benevolence.
I choose to trust.
All is well.
I am peace.
And just give a gentle smile to yourself,
A smile of appreciation for all of the beauty that you are,
The truth of who you are.
Let's have a moment of self-forgiveness for all of the times when maybe you were not aligned with this truth.
Just bringing compassion.
It's okay.
We came here to experience that opposite as well.
It's okay.
That doesn't take away from the truth,
The truth,
The truth,
The truth of who you are,
Which is love.
Maybe you want to place your hands over your heart.
Maybe you want to hug yourself and just allow any of the moments where you have made so-called perceived mistakes or said so-called the wrong things and just bring that soft compassion and forgiveness to say,
I forgive me.
And I know the truth of who I am.
That is love.
That is love.
I let go of all that is not aligned with that.
And just taking a moment to set the intention to stay in this space of love vibration as often as frequently as you can.
Remembering the power that you have to return there through your divine focus.
And to just accept that this is now the dominant program that runs your life.
That's of alignment with love in all of its abundance,
In all of its fruition,
In all of its openness and expression and trust.
Trusting that there is right now in this very moment an abundance of blessings raining upon you.
You are after all a child of this universe.
Deeply rooted and connected to fundamental parts of the energy that can never be created nor destroyed.
That shall always be flowing.
You are so profound that you shall always be.
Coming back to the flow of your breath.
Just bringing some focus back to the physical body.
Maybe you wriggle your fingers and your toes.
Just slowly wake yourself up.
Maybe you want to stretch.
Just intuitively,
Maybe you're just feeling good.
Just happy to be alive,
To be present,
To be who you are.
Deeply grateful for all of you showing up today with hearts overflowing.
