Welcome to this really short and simple meditation guidance I want to give today.
Today is really about setting up your morning or setting up your day.
So it's a practice that some might call an informal meditation practice,
But one that I think that's really important that we can start to do.
So what I'd like you to do now is just simply find yourself a comfortable seat,
Whether it's on your cushion,
A stool,
The ground,
Just find yourself a really comfortable place that can cultivate awareness for you right now.
Just now taking three really mindful breaths,
Just complete attention to the three breaths that you're going to take,
Just bringing everything that you've got into the moment of these three breaths.
So just breath in,
Just filling that belly right up,
Holding it there for a moment and breath out.
If the mind thinks or wanders,
Just back into the breath really deeply,
Bring yourself in,
Breath in,
Breath out.
One more breath,
Breath in,
Breath out.
Now with your eyes still closed,
Just granting yourself into this moment with your body,
Whether you're seated,
Your feet on the floor,
Just immersing yourself into this moment,
Just this moment as to what it is right now.
Just bringing your head and heart together and just feeling this moment in its entirety,
As to this is the only moment that you've got right now in your life.
Just with that feeling of immersion of the moment,
Just bringing absolute and utter gratitude to the moment in any way that it shows up for you,
But just bringing that emotion and that attitude of gratitude to it in its entirety.
So just sitting with that for a second.
Now I'd just like to bring your attention to the lens of how you'd like to show up today.
Just with your eyes shut,
Just visualizing the best version of you that's going to show up today.
So what's that look like for you?
Just eyes shut,
Just a visualization of how you'd like to show up today.
And with that visual piece,
Start to bring your attention to the attitudes that will back that best version of you up.
Those attitudes are going to support the best version of you today.
Perhaps it's patience,
Curiosity,
Kindness,
Just bringing your attention to a couple of attitudes that you really want to be as your foundation or your soil for the best version of you today.
And just meditating or just bringing your attention to those attitudes and what they'll look like for you today.
Just then with those attitudes that you've got,
Those couple of attitudes,
Just now reflecting on a behavior that will show those attitudes that you will do today.
So how will you behave that will bring those attitudes to life?
What actions will bring those attitudes to life that will directly connect and link to the best version of you today?
Again,
Just taking a moment to think and plan the actions and behaviors that are going to support those attitudes and how you'll bring them to life.
Again,
Now just granting yourself in its entirety back into the moment.
Just with three more breaths of complete mindfulness of the breath,
Just bringing your breath in,
Breath out,
Breath in,
Breath out,
Breath in,
Breath out.
Your eyes still closed with your presence still in this moment,
Just granting yourself in and just repeating the words,
Thank you to yourself just for a minute or so,
Just to really say thank you for the time that you've given yourself to set yourself up for this day,
To give yourself the energy and direction to allow yourself to be that best version of you is really important.
Just the mantra of thank you,
Just thank you,
Thank you,
Thank you.
Just continuing to repeat that.
Mind starts to drift off,
Just bringing your attention back and just with a gentle smile on your face,
Just continuing to repeat thank you,
