I would like to start this analysis by asking you something.
Do you think that the consensual reality,
That is,
The way in which most of us perceive and understand what surrounds us,
May not be so faithful?
And one more question,
Do you feel that many values and tendencies that we have recently incorporated as society are dragging us towards a more insensitive self?
When we are dreaming,
We are experiencing an illusory reality.
When we are in the waking state,
Also.
It is known that sensory perception varies during peak experiences,
As does our way of thinking and feeling.
A person who has walked the entire path finds their self with an open heart,
With a sacred heart.
The attachments have ceased,
The aversions to dualistic appearances were left behind in pursuit of a joyful and compassionate feeling.
When talking about a way of perceiving that is different from that experienced by the vast majority,
Perhaps hallucinations and psychotic delusions come to mind.
Sometimes they occur on the spiritual path by not finding a better way to express oneself or hold a certain situation,
Entering into conflict with the consensual reality.
Or as it occurs in this story,
By experiencing a more refined reality which may generate a certain suspicion among the people around us.
But then we wouldn't be the ones to be mistaken,
But the ones holding the truth,
Or at least the closest one.
I think we all have people with these characteristics in our imagination,
Someone like a saint or like a researcher who generates knowledge that goes against what is stipulated,
And ends up being treated like a madman or an imposter.
These accusations come from the narrow mind of their contemporaries,
From their selfish and normopathic conception.
Let me get into this concept.
Normopathy refers to how we adopt and normalize behaviors and beliefs that do not represent the best option,
Being unhealthy in some way,
Although since it is the norm,
The feeling is of being right.
Fish raised in a pond do not conceive the vastness of the ocean,
Just as our narrow or conceptual mind is not ready to conceive the vastness of space and time.
Those seven drops that the witch poured into the well were ingested by all of us at birth,
Or perhaps even before.
We were all born destined to acquire a personality,
And with this the multiple tendencies to move away from our center,
From our essence.
Like the seven deadly sins that Christianity conceives,
Our job is to undo the influence of these seven drops.
We must reverse the consequences of having tasted the fruit of the Garden of Eden,
The one that grows from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil,
That is,
From dualistic perception.
These analyses have helped me to discern between three general movements for our path of evolution.
By the first one,
I mean the awareness about the existence of another reality,
The belief in a world different from the phenomenological appearances that we take as absolute and exhaustive.
The acknowledgement of a different way of being,
Where our internal technology has been activated,
And our conceptual understanding gives way to a more comprehensive and joyful perception,
One more real and gratifying.
The second one includes the efforts required to move towards this fusion with reality,
The discipline,
The practices,
The tribulations that we must experience in order to evolve.
And finally,
There is this ingredient that this story shows us ironically,
The strength to stand firm in the face of the prevailing normalized madness,
And the efforts that are being made to increase our already conspicuous desensitization,
So that it becomes increasingly more pernicious.
So if you differ from the majority,
But you feel calm,
Coherent,
Or simply with a certainty that is difficult to explain,
Do not betray yourself immediately.
Maybe you are on the right track.
