Welcome to your Cherry Blossom Sleep Meditation.

This is Jaclyn,

Your voice guide for the session.

Find a comfortable position,

Lying down or sitting in a relaxed posture.

Gently close your eyes,

Take a nice deep breath in,

And exhale slowly.

Allow your body begin to release all the tension as you prepare to journey into a peaceful Japanese springtime dreamscape.

All the noise in the background is unimportant,

You can ignore them,

Simply focus on my voice or space between my words.

Take another very nice deep breath.

Imagine yourself walking along a tranquil path lined with cherry blossom trees in full bloom.

Knowing that the cherry blossoms are completely harmless to your body.

They have no negative effect on your breathing.

You can breathe smoothly and freely.

You may pick up here and there the pleasant scent in the air,

As you continue to breathe nicely and deeply.

The soft pink petals create a gentle canopy above you,

Filtering the golden light of the afternoon sun.

With each step,

You feel the world around you slowing down,

Inviting you to immerse yourself in the beauty of this moment.

Notice as you continue to relax your body,

With slow and steady breath,

You slow down your heart rate in preparation for a good night's sleep.

As you slow down your heart rate,

Your blood pressure gently lowers to facilitate a peaceful sleep.

And your brainwaves is calming down.

From a busier,

Beta,

Alpha brainwaves down to theta and all the way down to delta.

As your brainwave is winding down,

Your body temperature begins to cool down.

Down to a comfortable,

Ideal feel for a deep,

Relaxing sleep.

Now imagine the vibrant pink and white blossoms dance in the breeze.

Some petals drifting lazily to the ground,

Like little pieces of delicate confetti.

A gentle wind rustles through the trees,

Creating a soft,

Whispering melody.

A serene pond reflects the beauty of the blossoms.

And in the distance,

A traditional wooden pagoda stands gracefully among the trees.

The entire landscape around you is bathed in a warm golden glow as the sun begins to set.

Casting soft shadows that ripple gently across the stone pathways.

A hint of fresh grass and earth mingles with the distant aroma of green tea brewing in a Japanese tea house nearby.

The air is filled with the delicate,

Floral fragrance of cherry blossoms.

Their perfume soft and subtle,

Yet mesmerizing.

You may hear the distant,

Soothing sound of a bamboo fountain rhythmically tipping and filling with water.

As you walk,

You feel the smooth,

Cool pebble pass beneath your feet.

Grounding you in this very peaceful moment.

A gentle breeze brushes against your skin,

Carrying with it the silk-like caress of falling petals.

You extend your hand,

Letting a single blossom land softly in your palm,

Its velvet-like texture soothing against your skin.

Occasionally,

A nightingale sings its sweet song,

Blending harmoniously with the faint chime of a temple bell from afar.

With each deep breath,

You imagine the taste of freshly brewed green tea.

Earthy,

Rich and slightly sweet.

You take a sip,

Feel the warmth coursing through your body,

Bringing you the comfort and relaxation with every drop.

That is very good.

Now,

I'm gonna count from 10 to 1.

With each descending number,

Let your mind's eye gently guide you to scan over and relax every part of your body.

From the top of your head to the tips of your toes and fingers.

You may repeat what you hear quietly inside.

Bring your awareness to your forehead.

Soften the muscles here.

Let go of any tension in your brows.

Let go of any tightness around your eyes.

Feel the warm breeze gently brushing against your skin.

Soothing away any lingering stress on your face.

Relax your jaw,

Unclenching your teeth.

Let your tongue rest naturally and your lips parted just a little bit.

As you swallow a few times to relax your throat.

Your throat and neck begin to loosen as you feel any stiffness melting away.

Feel your shoulders drop,

Releasing the weight of the day.

Your arms become heavier and heavier,

Sinking comfortably into your bed.

Your hands relax,

Fingers loose,

Open and soft.

Trace your awareness to your chest.

Feeling the rise and fall of your breath.

Just like the ebb and flow of the bamboo forest swinging in the wind.

With each inhale,

Imagine the breeze coming into the woods,

Cool and refreshing.

With each exhale,

A soft sound of distant wind chime fading.

Carry away your tension and worry.

As your chest relax,

So does your upper back.

Feel your entire back broaden and soften as you float deeper and relax deeper.

Feel your stomach let go of any tightness inside,

Your lower back is fully supported as you're releasing all the stress.

Feel your hips loosen and free,

As if swaying gently in the breeze.

Your thighs,

Your knees,

Your calves relax completely,

Heavy and soft.

Follow your attention to your feet,

Feel them resting comfortably,

As if submerged in fresh mountain spring.

And your toes are so free,

Relaxed,

Soft,

Melting into the space,

Completely relaxed.

As you continue your journey,

The sun dips lower,

Painting the sky with hues of pink,

Purple and gold.

The cherry blossoms glow in the twilight.

Their beauty is timeless and serene.

You find a quiet bench beneath the tree,

Allowing yourself to fully surrender to the peaceful embrace of the night.

Take a deep breath in and slowly breathe out.

Feel the last remnants of tension dissolve as you let this tranquility wash over you.

Knowing that you can return to this serene haven whenever you wish.

Take all the time you need in the next few moments to enjoy the scene of your cherry blossom journey.
