Hi,
And welcome to your somatic release breathwork practice.
Go ahead and get comfortable,
Letting out any last movements,
Maybe even closing your eyes if you feel called to,
Dropping into your body,
Settling there for now and allowing yourself to be held by the surface beneath you.
Go ahead and take three deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth.
First,
We are going to set an intention together.
This intention could be anything you feel called to.
I suggest setting it as an I am statement.
Some examples of this are I am free,
I am safe to receive or I am worthy.
Whatever feels right to you is perfect.
Don't overthink it.
If you're having a hard time thinking of one,
Just relax,
Trust,
And let it come to you.
Go ahead and pause this and come back when you have your intention ready.
Now,
Go ahead and state this intention in your head with purpose and conviction,
Allowing your intention to sink into every cell in your body.
Every organ,
Every muscle,
Every single atom.
Go ahead and do a scan of your body and notice where in your body this intention shows up.
Maybe you feel it in your stomach or your legs,
Your chest.
Anywhere it shows up is just right.
Notice without trying to control it,
Without judging it or labeling it as right or wrong.
Notice how this intention feels.
Maybe it feels heavy or maybe it feels light,
Knowing that whatever way it shows up is perfect and just simply information,
Nothing more and nothing less.
Now,
You can go ahead and let your intention go.
You don't have to think about it anymore.
And we're going to go into the breathwork practice.
This breathwork consists of long breaths in through your nose and then exhaling forcefully out your mouth,
Making a ha type sound.
So it'll sound something like this.
Go ahead and start with these long deep breaths at your own pace,
Inhaling through your nose and forcefully exhaling out your mouth,
Making a ha sound,
Letting whatever noise and sound needs to be released out without judging it for yourself.
Staying with these deep breaths at your own pace,
Allowing whatever is in the way of that intention to come up during this practice.
Know that in feeling it,
You are allowing it to be released.
And in releasing,
You are letting go and it no longer has power over you.
You are safe to release.
If at any point you feel like crying,
Allowing yourself to do so and feeling it all.
There is so much power in giving any feelings you have the attention they crave,
And you are so powerful.
Staying with it.
In through your nose and forcefully out your mouth.
Digging deep,
As deep as you feel called to.
Allowing yourself to release.
Just a few breaths left.
You got this.
Letting go of this breath pattern.
Exhaling at the exact pace you want to.
And go ahead and breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth,
Pursing your lips together as if you're blowing through a straw.
Repeating this a few times.
Letting go of control on your breath,
Allowing it to return to its natural state.
Notice how you're feeling.
If you feel like you have more to release,
Know that that is completely normal and more than okay.
Give yourself the space to do so.
You deserve it.
Go ahead and put one hand on your heart and the other on your stomach.
Giving yourself so much love for showing up for yourself today and doing the work.
You deserve to be so proud of yourself.
And staying here in gratitude for yourself for as long as you need.
