Welcome everyone to today's meditation practice,
The school of life.
I'm so grateful you have joined me here today and I'm just here to gently remind you that as the lessons come and go we have the ability to transmute them,
Alchemize them as quickly as they come upon us.
Not every lesson will be simple,
Some will be immensely challenging but if you can stay rooted in your spiritual know-how it becomes easier and easier to move through each unique set of challenge or difficulties.
So I want to invite you to this Academy of the mind today.
I will be your guiding teacher and you will be the student but just know that you too are also the teacher and I the student.
There is a reciprocity among all of us because we are a collective of enlightening beings here to help one another grow and evolve,
Change and to fly.
If you are new to meditation it's often said that it can be difficulty or challenging to sit still,
Quiet the mind and let go and this may be true for some and it may be easier for others but just know the more time you spend inside the mind the easier it becomes to let go.
This is why guided meditation is so powerful,
It allows you to use your mind to evolve and grow.
It is also beautiful to sit in silence and for some it is necessary,
For others enjoyable but for those in the beginning stages of meditation it can be challenging and so we guide you through these powerful modalities of healing with our words.
So I want to invite you to close your eyes and relax,
Be guided by the voice you hear and take a journey inside of your mind.
You are now on a beautiful college campus walking to a classroom in a far-off corner.
You've got your book bag hanging on your shoulders and those books are heavy.
You have many lessons to learn and even though they are quite heavy you have a choice of how you view the pain.
It can be used to spur you into walking faster or more slowly.
You can view it as necessary or upsetting.
Each of us has our own beliefs that exist and for some that book bag may be incredibly heavy to the point where it's even difficult to walk.
Some might have hardcover books,
Other softcovers.
While some may only have a few to carry.
Everyone's got their own but there is no one upon planet Earth who isn't going through lessons and challenges at some level of difficulty.
And as you are making this walk to your class just know you get to decide the level of heaviness,
How it feels to have all these books from which you are learning.
Can you be joyous for the day noticing all the sights and sound all around you rather than the heaviness?
Our minds are so powerful they can actually take us to a place of bliss or peace,
Reduce our level of pain just by becoming aware and then working towards shifting the perspective to somewhere else.
So see yourself walking and now you are taking off that backpack and perhaps placing it in a cart and now you get to roll it loosening the shoulders,
Releasing a little bit of the burden and think of that cart as if it was source,
The universal infinite intelligence handing you a tool to make it easier.
But know that some will take it and others will say no and it's all part of our individual journeys.
We decide.
Free will.
And now we are heading into our classroom taking a seat,
Putting that backpack aside and our teacher comes in.
And much like physical life it is dependent upon how you learn and grow.
So if you are tired or unfocused you will not be absorbing information as quickly or easily.
If you are ready with a pen,
Paper,
Pencil and hand to take notes then you are eager to learn.
You may go home and study all on your own excited for the information you have received.
And there will also be some who don't understand,
Who find it difficult,
Who may completely drop the class and just move on.
There may be some who enjoy some of it but not all of it.
And some who find it all easy.
Right away they understand the lesson and integrate them into their lives.
And all is perfect as is no matter which route you choose.
These are just lessons to discover,
Information that exists inside of you.
And now it's time to change place with our teacher and let you become the teacher and they the student.
What are you teaching them every day?
What lesson do you have to share?
You may not even know that you are the teacher.
You may be unaware or you may have chosen to be a teacher.
And just like everyone's experience as the student is different,
So too are our teachers.
Some with lifetimes of wisdom and knowledge to access,
Others still learning.
Some using books who haven't yet gotten to that internal knowing that all of the information is inside.
And it's all part of the process for each teacher and each student to know what they know when they are ready to know it.
And remember,
Just like in physical school,
You get what you give.
So if you find it all distracting,
If you are unwilling to learn,
Then that information that is inside of you stays hidden.
But every time you close the eyes,
Come into some awareness of your inner being speaking to that voice within,
You are building up your inner wealth.
Every day you deposit coins in the piggy bank of enlightenment.
And just like wealth,
You can build it consistently daily or it may take time.
And financial wealth and spiritual wealth work in much the same way.
Both are energy.
Both can be built and all comes through the mind.
So if you were to go to your class every day on that campus or come into your class of the mind by sitting quietly and letting go,
The more information becomes available.
And let us not judge those unwilling,
For they have chosen this as part of their learning curriculum.
And we hold space and light that they may wish to move ahead in their spiritual homework.
The lesson for all of humanity is to be kind,
Love one another,
And know that you are all.
I invite you to spend some time just noticing for yourself the lessons that have come and gone in your life.
And how were you able to transmute them?
And where are you today?
Thank you for joining me today.
Namaste.
