Hello,
And welcome to this Love Earth Now meditation,
Your opportunity to be still,
Explore and discover what you can do what your unique call on this earth at this critical time is.
I invite you to get comfortable wherever you are sitting or lying down.
Allow your breath to deepen receiving long,
Slow,
Deep breaths.
Simply noticing as you do how the breath feels as it moves in through your nostrils,
Perhaps feeling it hit the back of your throat and out through your nostrils.
Perhaps brushing your lips as it goes.
What do you notice about your breath?
As you breathe slowly and deeply,
And as you continue to breathe slowly and deeply,
Begin to notice your body.
Notice your feet floor wherever they touch.
Notice your seat or the back of your body where it rests.
Notice your arms as they hang.
Lie.
What do you notice about where they touch where your body makes contact with whatever supports you.
Close your eyes if you haven't already,
And allow your breath to return to what feels like a normal pace.
Make any adjustments come to you now to make yourself as comfortable as possible as you are in this position,
Allowing any background noise to simply float away as you focus within.
And as you begin this process of focusing within,
I'm going to prompt you in a moment to imagine yourself somewhere,
Any place on earth in nature,
Outdoors.
And I encourage you to not let your mind take over here.
Simply allow the suggestion of where on earth are you now?
Whatever image comes to mind first.
That's the right one.
And if no image at all comes,
Then you may choose where to place yourself at this moment,
Where to take yourself in this moment of imagination and discovery.
Allow yourself to immerse in the experience of being someplace in your mind's eye in your imagination,
Someplace in nature on earth now,
Even if it seems fuzzy or out of focus,
Allow whatever image,
Whatever you imagine about where you are to be.
Take a look around here with your mind's eye and notice what you see.
If you see anything,
Is it dark or light?
Summer,
Winter fall?
What is the color palette of what you see?
What is the color palette of what you see?
If you see any images here,
What do you see in flora and fauna?
Are there trees?
Are there plants?
Are there animals,
Critters,
Other people?
Are you alone?
And if the images shift throughout the course of this meditation,
If what you see now is completely different than what you see in a moment,
Or by the end,
That's all good too.
Allow yourself,
If you're willing to release expectations of where you might have expected to find yourself or what it should look like.
If busy thoughts come in,
There's always an invitation to say,
Thank you for sharing,
Or whatever comes to you and bring your awareness back to the sound of my voice.
Back to your own experience,
What you see.
And now what do you hear?
Shift your awareness to your inner ears and imagine what you hear.
Now notice what do or what might you hear in this scene where you are?
Is there wind?
Are there other animals making noise?
Other people?
Machinery?
Water?
What do you notice about what you hear?
Or do you hear something so quiet,
You hear nothing at all?
Whatever you hear,
Or don't hear is perfect.
Give your full attention now to what you hear.
Are there any smells,
Aromas,
Shifting your awareness to your experience or your imagination of what smells come to you where you are,
If any?
Are there smells wafting over you from animals,
Flowers,
Trees,
Waterways,
Or people or machinery or any other source?
What if anything do you smell?
Or might you smell here?
Whatever you smell or imagine smelling,
Even if it's nothing at all,
Is perfect.
Now as you are immersing yourself in this scene,
Look around and see if there's something you'd like to touch,
Something that calls to you.
Or is it something that you're already touching,
Perhaps from your posture,
Where you rest,
Where you sit,
Reach out and touch something that calls to you.
If anything,
Give full awareness to whatever you're touching.
How does it feel on your fingertips,
Or wherever it may be brushing your skin,
Your face,
Your feet?
How does it feel to touch or be touched?
If it feels like anything at all?
Be curious,
How would it feel to touch this?
Now as you are immersing yourself in the scene,
Imagine,
Notice,
Discover,
Is there anything here that you would like to taste?
Is there anything here that calls for you to savor,
To bite,
To drink,
Or if there's nothing at all,
Simply continue to notice the details,
The full experience of where you are.
If you feel called to taste,
Do so,
Or imagine how it would taste.
Now take one more look around where you are.
Notice if there's anything new or something else that demands your attention,
Invites you to experience,
Taste,
Touch,
To feel,
To hear,
To smell.
If so,
Honor that invitation.
And if not,
Continue simply to notice what you're experiencing right now,
Right here,
Wherever you are.
You may wish to receive another deep breath,
Allow yourself to relax a bit more,
Immerse,
Imagine.
Notice if there's anything or anyone in this scene that invites conversation.
Do any questions come to your mind as you survey the scene,
Immerse yourself in this experience?
If you have any questions,
Come to mind right now.
You may wish to ask them aloud,
Or whisper them to yourselves.
You may wish to direct them to anyone or anything in the scene,
Or to your own higher self,
Higher power.
Simply ask any questions that come to mind.
Release,
If you will,
The expectations that you'll hear an answer right here and right now.
Allow the questions,
If any,
Simply to float out into the ethers,
Knowing that every question that has ever been asked already has an answer.
See if you're willing to trust that your answer,
The answer to your question already exists and will come to you in divine perfect timing.
Notice if you're willing simply to allow your questions to form,
Float away.
Or if your question feels more demanding,
Give it the voice that it asks of you.
Perhaps you want to adopt a new stance,
A new posture,
Perhaps a new question comes to mind.
Allow this opportunity to ask,
To be what it will,
Following your own inspiration and guidance.
Do you have asked your question or questions you may wish to survey your scene again?
Notice if any changes occurred.
Notice if any new creatures,
Guides,
Angels,
Any new presence has joined you or not.
Are you alone?
Do you sense any presence?
Explore how it feels if you do,
Or if you don't.
Continue to receive cues from your experience,
What or who in the scene,
If anything,
Invites you in,
Inspires a new thought,
Or if you feel called simply to relax and be still.
Follow your guidance here.
Now,
Take a look down at your hand or at your side in your mind's eye.
In your imagination,
If you will.
Notice if there's anything in your hands now,
Or if there's any tool or gift lying at your feet.
If so,
You may wish to examine it.
Look it over with with curiosity.
What is it?
How does it look,
Feel,
Smell?
And if nothing in the scene has appeared,
Continue to explore,
To breathe and notice what,
Who is here for you.
Now,
If you have received something in your hand or at your feet,
If you have been given a tool or a gift of any kind,
You may wish to speak a word of gratitude.
If you feel so called,
You may wish now to speak a word of gratitude for yourself for showing up for this experience,
For your holy sacred sacred yes,
Allowing this opportunity to explore and to discover what you may do,
To discover perhaps your unique call to action or inaction.
Notice if there is any final experience that calls to you before we close this meditation.
If so,
Honor it,
Speak or ask or move as you feel called,
Or simply continue to breathe and relax,
Be still.
And when you feel complete with this experience,
Bring your awareness back to your physical body,
Perhaps brushing your fingertips across your thumb tip,
Wiggling your fingers and toes,
Turning your head from side to side,
And begin bringing the awareness back to this room where you are.
Noticing any sounds,
Any aromas in the room,
Or in the space where you are,
And open your eyes when you're ready.
If you've closed them,
You may wish to jot down your experiences,
Make notes about any experience that feels memorable,
What you saw,
Felt,
Tasted,
Touched.
You may also wish to write down the questions that came to you to ask for the reinforcing your request for answers,
For inspiration,
For guidance.
My honor,
Thank and bless you all for,
For showing up for this unique experience,
For your willingness to be open to ask and discover.
Thank you.
