To read the tarot,
I also feel that the tarot can be a gateway to opening your psychic abilities.
So each card has its own definition.
Traditionally speaking,
If we're talking about the Rider-Waite-Smith deck in symbolism,
Which the majority of the cards are based off of,
Majority of the decks are based off of.
And when you pull a card and you get that intuitive hit,
Like this means something different than what I've been taught it means.
And then you listen to that.
Well,
What do I feel like this means,
If it means something different?
And you get quiet and you go within and you listen.
And then later on you're like,
Oh my god,
I was right.
Those are moments.
So everyone has intuition,
Which is the precursor to psychic abilities.
Your intuition primarily is for you.
It governs what it is you need to know on a personal level,
Keeps you safe,
Gives you information.
But the next step up from that would be psychic abilities.
And that is where you get that same kind of intuitive hits,
But about other people.
And we discussed this in my intuition development and intro to psychic messages class.
There's four main clairs.
Claircognizance,
Clairaudience,
Clairsentience,
And voyance.
Yeah,
Voyance,
Cognizance,
Sentience,
And audience.
So hearing,
Seeing,
Feeling,
Knowing.
And the clair just means that it's clear.
It comes in,
Not through touch,
Right?
So our ability to feel happens primarily through our fingers.
But your clairsentience is when you feel things that are not directly through your human senses.
They're through your extra senses.
And everybody has all of them.
And they also have ones that are more naturally developed than others.
So you may have a really clear mind's eye.
You may have the ability to see things in your mind's eye very clearly.
That would be your clairvoyance,
Very well developed.
Dreamers and artists traditionally have a very well developed clairvoyance.
Artists specifically see something in their mind's eye and then bring it to life in whatever medium they use.
Claircognizance is where you just know things.
And you don't know how you know,
But you know you know.
You're not really sure how you know it,
But there's really no,
We don't have to discuss it.
I just know this.
So depending on what your primary clair is will also be the modality that your psychic information comes to you,
Right?
So I think what I found to be most helpful,
Because I am claircognizant.
I know things.
I don't really know how I know them,
But I also just assume everybody else knows what I know.
Because if I just know it,
Then it must be common knowledge,
Right?
How else do I have that?
Like how else do I know that?
So what I found really helpful was one of my teachers was asking me to pay attention to my thoughts.
And if I could not trace the thought back to an origination thought,
Like it just came in.
Where did that come from?
That's a message.
It's like a spiritual message.
Because it's not your brain thinking like,
What am I making for dinner?
Oh,
I want to have chicken.
But wait,
There's no chicken in the house.
So I need to go to the grocery store.
And I wonder if I clip my coupon.
Like all of those are is a train of thought that I can get it like thinking about coupons.
Like how did I get onto coupons?
Oh,
Yeah.
And I can go back through the chain.
But if I'm washing dishes,
And I'm like,
Oh,
I need to call Dr.
Gray.
Well,
Dr.
Gray happens to be my chiropractor.
And that more than likely means that there's some misalignment in my body that he needs to help me with.
And my guides are like,
You need to go get this looked at.
So that one in particular act was really helpful,
Because it got me to pay attention to what was going on in my head.
And I think a lot of us spend the majority of our time not aware of how we're thinking,
Or how we're mentally talking to ourselves.
Which a lot of us speak to ourselves in our brain in a way that I wouldn't tolerate another person speaking to me that way.
And when you become conscious of that,
You're like,
Wow,
That was like really rude.
I wouldn't let like my partner speak to me that way.
I wouldn't let my boss speak to me that way.
Why the heck am I speaking to me that way?
Why am I thinking that way?
That gives us the opportunity to shift the way we think.
And then we can create new neuropathways in the brain and have new synapses fire together because the neurons that fire together wire together.
And if you can catch yourself,
Like,
Oh,
I'm being rude to myself.
Let me give myself a compliment.
And you stop yourself mid action and be like,
I'm sorry,
That wasn't really nice.
I think you're doing a pretty good job.
You have now broken the strength of the neuropathways.
And then when they don't fire together,
They actually start to break apart.
And then that default chain thought pattern stops.
And you can start creating new neuropathways that are like,
Oh,
I think I'm a badass.
I really like I really like myself.
Which is a pretty amazing place to be.
Yeah.
Oh,
I think I'm awesome.
I don't speak negatively to myself anymore at all.
I'm not even sure the last time I was like,
Dude,
That was so stupid.
What you look like such an idiot.
Why did you say that?
Like,
I think we all have moments like that,
Honestly.
But most of the time,
I'm like,
I'm doing the best I can.
As long as I know that I'm showing up as best as I can to those moments,
Really no reason to beat myself up about it.
And if there is like,
Oh,
You didn't prepare enough for this one class or you didn't like,
Do your research before talking to this one person like,
All right,
Well,
That's a learning experience.
We don't want to go back to that situation.
I don't like how this feels.
Let's avoid that and move forward.
But prior to that,
There will be a lot of ruminating mentally.
And I think it's a natural human thing to do.
We just kind of get stuck.
Oh,
What are you doing?
Why did you say that?
Thank you so much,
Beautiful soul,
For tuning in and expanding your consciousness through this microdose of divine wisdom.
Until next time,
Stay empowered and in love and alignment.
