The more you listen to it, the greater the results and peace of mind. At the end, I will count you back to waking state. Warning,

This is not to be listened to whilst you need your full conscious awareness such as driving,

Operating machinery or cooking.

Welcome to this healing session designed to prepare your mind-body system to give birth to your baby as naturally,

Safely and as beautifully as possible.

This is designed to build relaxation and trust in your body and baby with each successive listen.

So as you listen often,

Your thoughts,

Intention and your body can feel a growing connection to your baby and to the deep wisdom held within each cell of our body.

As you learn new patterns to trust yourself,

There's a greater possibility to go deeper into your birthing experience,

To know yourself,

To know what you'll need and a possibility to stay calm,

Focused and loving throughout.

All you need to do is find a safe place to sit back,

Relax and enjoy the deepening sensations as your body-mind system can listen in peacefully.

If you need to awaken at any point you'll be able to do so easily but for now,

If it's safe for you to do so,

You can make yourself comfortable,

So comfortable in fact that you can just drift off to sleep if it suited you to sleep now and relax into the thought of a peaceful birthing.

So I'd like you to relax,

Relax into a comfortable position that will feel easy if you wanted to relax even more deeply.

I want you to know that if you were to fall asleep or go deep inside yourself,

That your body would have space,

Comfort and trust in the process to go really deep inside.

And you might now need to adjust your position as you can relax more easily.

If you haven't closed your eyes already,

I'd like you now to roll your eyes up,

Roll them up as high as you can as if you want to look inside your eyelids and hold.

That's good.

Now you can let your eyelids float,

Drift down in your own time.

Imagine them tightly shut.

Now I'd like you to take in a good long slow deep breath and hold it for the count of three.

And now slowly exhale and feel yourself just relax.

And as you continue to slow your breathing and find comfort,

You can relax.

And as you continue to relax and slow down,

You might also want to focus on your growing belly.

Maybe place your hands there or whatever works and feels best for you.

You might notice the feelings of your baby deep inside you and as you notice,

Noticing the sensations,

You notice you can drift and soften into the deepest and most comfortable place of relaxation you can find.

Maybe you feel heavy or tired and you can feel your face relax,

Your cheeks softening.

Maybe your jaw can release tension and feel heavy as you sink down,

Float down,

Move inside yourself to that place of deep comfort.

And as you continue to breathe slowly,

Rhythmically and deeply,

Maybe you can listen to the sound of your breaths as it takes you further.

And as you listen to the sound of my voice and notice your breathing deepening,

You can find even more comfort than you were feeling even just moments ago.

And maybe your shoulders can release any tension or stress that they may have been holding as you go deeper into comfort.

And you might notice that one side of your body feels different to the other as you sink deeper and deeper into comfort.

And I'd like you to enjoy these sensations and wonder how your muscles can release even further still as you go deep inside to your place of deep calm.

And you can allow this comfortable sensation to flow all the way down your arms,

Into your hands and out to the tips of your fingers as you relax even deeper,

Drifting,

Sinking further.

And now if you haven't already,

Allow these sensations and feelings of comfort to go down through your whole body,

Down through your spine,

Into your hips,

Down through your legs,

To your knees,

Ankles,

Feet,

All the way down to the tips of your fingers and the tips of your toes.

And maybe you can remember now a time when you felt so calm and in tune with yourself that your body just felt the most relaxed,

At ease and peaceful it's ever felt and you can remember that now.

And you can allow that feeling of peace to spread to all parts of your body as you and your beautiful belly can soften into the most gentle,

Nurturing sleep you can find.

And I don't know if your unconscious mind is listening to every word that I speak or whether your unconscious has drifted off already.

All I know is that you can choose to safely relax even further to just the right level of sleep for you at this time for this purpose of preparing for birth.

And if you find it easier to focus on the music your unconscious mind can listen to the words for you without you needing to consciously listen.

And you can drift off and enjoy this rest time and visualize whatever makes you feel the most relaxed and happy.

And as we are now ready to prepare your mind and body for the natural birth time when your baby will arrive I'd like to ask your mind to drift onto thoughts of nature.

How even in a wasteland life can always be found.

That nature is a process that knows and does itself.

It knows how to.

And you might remember seeing gardens or beautiful views change color and shape throughout the flowing of time.

Bees swelling,

Blossoming and giving fruit.

Flowers bursting into color.

Grass is flowing.

Nature knows the exact timing of how and when.

Nature knows itself.

Every plant that you have noticed growing wild beautiful wild flowers gently blowing in a breeze.

They know how to release their seeds.

Just as the seeds have known how to grow into themselves.

Nature knows itself.

And you might have noticed just how beautifully all creatures can birth themselves over and over easily effortlessly and purposefully.

Every insect every mammal every bird.

They all know themselves.

It's almost as if they have a book of their life that they know the keys to who they are and how they work.

And they do.

It's their instincts that give them their natural compass through life.

And with their instincts comes the knowledge of who they are and what they do naturally.

And so I'd like to imagine a time when you were connected to your natural human wisdom.

I'd like to imagine a time when your most primal instincts were there for you.

To a time of innocence and survival.

And I don't know if all that was recently in your childhood in your mother's womb or another time place altogether.

All I know is that your mind body system can remember a time.

Remember a time when your natural instincts were strong.

And you were deeply connected.

And maybe during this time you were near another who you could trust implicitly.

Or maybe you just remembered how you could trust yourself.

But you knew that all was well.

That you were safe.

You were always safe.

Because you were in a place of trust.

Trust in your mind.

Trust in your body.

And I don't know what it was that convinced you so completely to trust yourself and trust your mind body system.

But as you begin to remember how you create trust in yourself,

Your unconscious mind can now choose to recreate the physical feeling of trust in your body.

And you can do that now.

And as you notice the feeling of trust in every cell in your body,

Your unconscious mind can now remind you of what it felt like to trust your mind and trust your gut instincts.

And can now choose to recreate the emotional feeling of trust in your mind and trust in your instincts.

And you can do that now.

And I'd like to remind you of your connection.

I'd like you to remember the connection.

The DNA connection that you and your baby share.

And allow your mind to just drift peacefully and easily on the imaginary cord of connection through to your maternal ancestors.

Back to your mother.

Your mother's mother.

Your mother's mother's mother.

Back further to the imagined faces and connection to each of your mother's mothers.

And to realize that you're part of a long,

Never-ending story.

That you and your baby are the latest version of this updating story.

And that you're connected to a story that goes on so far and forever that you can focus on the collective message and wisdom of your mothers as the sum total of their birthing experiences are recorded within your DNA and that wisdom is yours to understand.

The collective wisdom adds up to a connection of who you and your baby are.

To your story of life.

To your baby's story of life.

Because you were all born and all continue to tell your part of this story.

And soon the safe birth of your baby will also be recorded in the collective DNA too.

All of your natural birthing instincts are alive within your DNA.

Instructing your body.

Reminding your body how to safely deliver your beautiful baby at just the right time for you both.

And I'd like you now to imagine the energy of your DNA story.

The energy of your maternal ancestors.

And they have a message for you.

A message that ties you to your story and to your instincts.

And that can remind you of something that you need to know today.

And you don't need to hear their voices or message but to just hold onto that feeling of the wisdom they share.

It is yours.

It's yours to understand when you need to hear it most.

The wisdom will come to your mind only when you need it.

Because your mind body system can remember the energy of birthing.

Your mind body system can imagine and remember all the factors involved in your ancestors birthing easily and effortlessly.

All of these stories are stored in your DNA in the energetic cord connecting you.

So it's only necessary to think of your DNA and the energy of safe birthing from every mother in your story of life.

And it's there to remember at a cellular level.

And this coded wisdom might bring you peace and comfort to remember.

And the unconscious remembrance that is coded into each cell of your body can be tuned into.

You are in touch with your instincts you have,

Your book of life.

And this instinctual coding will guide you.

It will help you find the right position for your safety and comfort throughout this whole birthing experience.

All you need to do is feel the connection between you and your collective mothers and your feeling yourselves.

Just how to position yourself for your safe and beautiful birthing experience.

And this wisdom will adapt to the best positions according to your situation that you find yourself in when your baby knows the right time to arrive.

Because each birth is different.

You can't always know in advance how it will occur.

But you can now have peace of mind that your instincts will guide you to find the best position and attitude of allowance for the unique situation you find yourself in.

And maybe you can imagine drifting out off into the future moment of your baby's birth and create a strong mental and cellular feeling of how normal,

Easy and successfully you found giving birth to be.

Maybe you can begin to program the feeling of a deep and lasting satisfaction about the connection between you and your baby.

The feeling of you and your baby finding your natural rhythm together.

The feeling of the first moment when you and your baby met for the first time.

And you can begin to build and imagine feelings of trust in yourself and your baby that the birth was smooth and loving.

And your unconscious mind can hold and store this feeling of completeness in your cellular DNA to remind you that you can do it when the time comes.

And maybe your mind-body system can remember how the experience and thought of pain can be reimagined as a positive experience.

For your body will communicate to you the times you need to push and the times that you need to relax.

And these times will be communicated to you through the cells and knowledge within your mind-body system.

Each perception of pain can be re-understood as a comfortable compass point guiding you and your baby towards a safe birth experience.

Every time you notice a sensation of pain you will have the peace of mind that your body is doing what it naturally does to guide your baby out into the world that you will be.

And as you notice each sensation as a confirmation of what to do instinctively as you birth your child you will find your relationship to this pain will be positive and nurturing.

You will look forward to each moment and movement that guides your baby safely out of you.

You can recode each pain message as the knowledge of being closer to your baby as a sign of optimism that your body knows what to do and can always find the right resources to cope and enjoy the birthing experience.

Your confidence and trust in yourself to bring your baby out into the world is coded within you.

And this coding also extends to knowing when you might need extra help and knowing to accept it freely without sense of guilt or shame and in a way that can be written safely into your collective wisdom.

If medical intervention is needed you will know easily when and how to ask for it.

You can feel in control and empowered to have your birthing needs met.

And you might notice in your future imaginations just how peaceful you felt during the birth of your baby.

And how you just knew and always know just what your baby is needing.

You can have a peace of mind and a sense of connection when you think about the birth of your baby and all of that is having wonderful incremental effects and changes to your body in preparation to giving birth.

As your body can now strengthen and improve all the things it needs to to deliver your baby as effortlessly,

Quickly and as joyfully as possible as is needed to satisfy the birthing inspiration of both you and your baby.

And your mind body system can also remember that immediately after you've given birth your body can prepare to heal itself only as quickly as you're prepared to recover and rejoice in the strength of your body.

The placenta can be delivered peacefully and easily.

Your body can remember how to heal and any bleeding can simply clean the birth wound before stopping quickly and beginning the process of knitting back together in the way that it should.

And your muscles,

Tendons and legaments can gently realign after you've given birth.

And your body can know when to rest and allow itself to heal and in just the right way for you.

And you might notice the sense of relaxation you get from having given birth and how it assists you in feeling the right emotions to just let go of any residual fears of birth.

And with your gentle emotional release comes even more healing,

A trust in healing and feelings of strength and wellbeing.

And you can imagine now the first connection between you and your baby as you know how to give the most natural and nurturing first drink to your baby.

You'll both each know how to connect so that your baby can feed.

And as in the birth your body will know how to position itself to comfortably nestle your baby whilst your baby has its first feed.

And you can recognise your baby's nuzzles and snuggles and snuffling for nutrition and be able to naturally satisfy them fully,

Completely so your baby can grow stronger.

And as we encode your preparation for birth,

Imagine repeating with me in your mind the following.

As each day passes I feel more certain that giving birth will feel natural to me and that I can feel in control even when things might feel new and different.

Doubts and worries about giving birth safely through the medium of my dreams.

Trusting and expectant of the right delivery for me and my baby.

And I am connected to the birthing stories of my ancestors and can naturally remember everything I need to know to give birth safely.

And this collective peace of mind conditions my body to be its best in supporting me and my baby.

And this peace of mind allows me and my baby to hear each other when we need to.

And as I bask in this confidence I feel strong healing sensations and create new positive stories about giving birth and connection with my baby.

And in a moment it will be time to awaken.

And to awaken to your life from a fresher and more nourished mind body perspective.

But before you do awaken fully using the power of your conscious mind you can now allow each of the learnings today to increase in strength in a way that causes even greater levels of love joy and forgiveness and compassion for yourself.

You can allow yourself now to increase the strength of each suggestion that you have decided to allow into your mind body system and power it up almost as if you were turning the volume up on your favourite audio device.

And you can now turn up the strength of these suggestions now to the level that works for you only as quickly as you can easily and effortlessly feel good,

Refreshed and empowered in your body.

So take a moment to power up and wake up your mind body connection now.

And as I now count up from 5 to 1 you can start to wake up.

5 feeling relaxed and refreshed.

4 staring preparing to awaken.

3 eager to appreciate yourself.

2 as you feel awake,

Refreshed,

Feeling great.

1 eyes open,

Wake up now.

Wide awake,

Feeling great,

Fully refreshed with a feeling of connection and deep love for every cell in your body ready to enjoy more of life's great experiences.

This is an amazing meditation! I love it. The only part where i feel the strong need to adapt it a bit for myself is the ancestral line of my mother and the births. Because well, i know that my mother, grandmother and great grandmother all had no trust at all in their birth and everything was complicated and horrible. So, difficult to feel some trust in this line and I am completely depending on finding this trust in the divine feminine instead if ancestral line. πŸ™

Using this to help me fall back asleep at night - which always works! (I know there are two recordings but the picture is the same and I don’t always bother to see which one counts you back to waking and which one is for sleep...it never makes a difference to me anyway as I am always thankfully asleep by then.) Hoping the words are still getting through to help me for the big day... Will be setting aside some time during waking hours to listen as well. Thanks for this! :)

Very nice visualisation. Just a note that she says at the start you can use it for falling asleep, but at the end she quite strongly counts you awake - I found out the hard way when it jolted me out of sleep.
