
The Intimate Self
Journey down into the pelvic bowl for a powerful clearing and guidance in bringing your awareness online in this place of the body. Using breath and conscious tracking of your awareness we will first inhabit, clear, and then fill with light the pelvic bowl.

This is a meditation for cultivating intimacy with yourself,
With your body,
With all of the pieces of self that are alive within your body.
As we journey through this evolutionary process on this planet,
It is vitally important that we learn to become intimately in love with ourselves,
Intimately embodied,
Intimately in union internally.
Body,
Mind,
Soul.
The internal dance of the selves,
The masculine and feminine,
The yin and the yang coming to balance and harmony,
Dropping in to first and foremost the intimate union with self.
So find yourself a comfortable seat,
Rooting your sit bones into the earth or into the seat or chair beneath you.
Sit up straight,
Relaxing your forehead,
Your face,
Your jaw,
Relaxing your shoulders,
Relaxing your belly as you begin to breathe deeper,
Inhaling and exhaling in through the nose and out through the nose,
Deepening your breath as the body begins to relax,
Inviting the glute muscles to relax,
Inviting the pelvic floor to fully relax,
Dropping the shoulders.
Allow the chest to relax as you invite the breath deep down into your belly,
Breathing on the inhale down into the belly first and then bringing the breath up and expanding the chest.
You can begin now exhaling out of your mouth,
Continuing to inhale in through your nose,
Deepening the breath and allowing your exhales to become just a bit longer than your inhales.
Even deeper now,
Taking that inhale to the count of seven,
Dropping it all the way down four,
Five,
Six,
Seven,
Hold,
Holding the breath,
Holding the breath and relax,
Release,
Inhaling out the mouth for two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six,
Seven,
Eight,
Nine,
Ten,
Hold,
Holding the exhale out,
Emptying the vessel and again inhaling one,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six,
Seven,
Eight,
Nine,
Ten,
Hold,
Hold the exhale,
Let your body relax,
Your forehead,
Your pelvic floor,
Your belly,
Your chest,
Holding the exhale and breathing,
Inhaling again on your own this time.
And exhaling and breathing one more time on your own.
Releasing the hold of the exhale,
You can let go of the count now and just continue deeply breathing,
Inhaling in through your nose,
Exhaling out of your mouth and on your next inhale,
Taking your awareness and your breath all the way down to the base of your spine,
All the way down to the root,
To the bottom of your seat.
Bring your awareness here into the pelvic bowl.
This is the sacred space that holds your power,
The temple of your energetic life force.
Get familiar with the root of your body.
There's a whole world living here in your pelvic bowl waiting,
Just waiting for you to connect,
To acknowledge,
To allow your energy to flow there.
Continue to breathe as you allow your awareness to settle at the front of your pelvic bowl near the pubic bone.
Just notice what you're feeling in your body or in your mind even as you bring your awareness to this space in your body.
What sensations are present?
Are there any sensations?
Notice are you able to feel your awareness here in your pelvic bowl?
And being the witness to the sensations that arise as we go throughout this meditation.
Sitting here at the front of your pelvic bowl,
Just breathing,
Bringing every ounce of your awareness here to this one place in your body.
And don't forget to breathe as we continue now taking your awareness and traveling around the edges of your pelvic bowl ever so slowly feeling every inch that you move your awareness to the right just tracing the edge,
The outline of your pelvis over to the hip,
The top of the hip bone.
Taking your time inch by inch,
Feel your awareness graze the edges of your pelvic bowl.
It is a bowl at the root of your body.
It is a circle,
A hollow circle,
Not so hollow as it's full of organs and tissues and muscles and nerves.
But for now just focus on the bones,
The actual bowl aspect of your pelvis.
Continuing to breathe and trace your awareness around and back to the back.
Maybe your awareness is already to the sacrum,
Spending some extra time here at the back of the pelvis.
And on the inside of the sacrum,
Feel your awareness there,
Feel the sensations that are coming alive as you bring your awareness into this place in your body.
Feel it,
Observe it,
And then let it go as you inch further on tracing the pelvic bowl.
Don't forget your breath.
Continuing with all of your presence,
All of your awareness,
All of your energy here in your pelvic bowl,
Tracing the edges at the left hip now,
Circling the inside of the pelvic bowl.
We are just bringing awareness.
You don't need to worry about doing anything else,
Just bringing your awareness and tracing around the inside edges of your pelvic bowl.
And when you arrive back to your starting place at the pubic bone in the front of your pelvic bowl,
Just come into stillness with your awareness here.
Begin to feel your awareness filling up the bowl that is your pelvis.
Feeling your awareness in the root,
Observing anything that is arising,
Noticing what you feel,
What you're experiencing,
If things are moving,
If you feel nothing,
All of this is information that will allow you to move forward in cultivating a deeper,
Intimate connection with yourself.
To become intimate with ourselves,
We must know our bodies intimately.
Continue breathing,
Continue allowing your awareness to fill your pelvic bowl.
We must become deeply connected to all of ourselves,
To all of our bodies,
And it begins with being able to drop down with all of our awareness down into the base of our bodies and expanding from there.
This is how we heal.
This is how we deeply connect.
And this is also where we hold a lot of traumas and wounds and shadows and emotions that were left unfelt.
Lifetimes of oppression,
Ancestry,
Lineage,
Traumas,
All of it,
A lot of it,
Most of it lives here in our pelvic bowls,
Just waiting to be revisited,
Waiting to be ignited so that it may clear and release,
So that we may have full access to all of ourselves,
To all of our truth,
To all of our life force energy.
Bringing your awareness now to the very center of your pelvic bowl.
If you're a woman,
This would be your cervix,
Your uterus.
Just allow your awareness to permeate here.
You're not doing or trying to move anything.
You're just simply bringing awareness here.
When we bring awareness to areas of the body,
It brings energy and that stimulates blood flow and movement without needing to do anything else,
Just bringing your awareness here.
The rest will come later.
Just observe what it feels like to be breathing into your pelvic bowl.
With all of your awareness,
You can deepen your breath now just a little as you expand deeper into the root,
Feeling the breath as it fills up the pelvic bowl.
Now there's breath and awareness filling the pelvic bowl.
Just feel it.
Allow it.
As your pelvic bowl begins to expand through your awareness and your breath,
Allow it.
Allow the energy that wants to move to move.
Allow the sensations to arise to show themselves to you.
Any thoughts or emotions,
Allow them but don't attach to them.
As they arrive,
Become the observer.
Become the witness to them without attaching to them,
Without going into story.
Just see them.
Witness them and let them go.
Breathing deeply now,
I invite you to choose an element.
Choose the element that you feel called to today,
Whatever element arises to you and begin allowing it to sweep around the edges of your pelvis with the intention of clearing any stuck energy,
Any tension,
Any shadows,
Any templates,
Any energies that are no longer of service to the sacred space in your body.
Allow this element to swish and roll and roar around your pelvic bowl in a circle,
Just clearing,
Clearing and moving.
Remembering to breathe,
Remembering to stay present here in this space with this element in your pelvic bowl.
And when this clearing feels complete,
I invite you to allow the element to come to a stop in the center and allow it to flow out through your root,
Down through your seat,
Down into the earth to be transmuted and regenerated and released.
Coming back up with your awareness to the center of your pelvic bowl,
Breathing here,
Taking a few deep full breaths with all of your awareness and all of your breath filling and expanding your pelvic bowl.
As you come with your next inhale into the pelvic bowl,
You're going to inhale up the back of your spine with your breath,
With your awareness,
Breathing and inhaling all the way up the back of your spine,
All the way up through the heart,
Through the throat,
The back of the head and circling around the front and as you exhale,
Release and allow the energy and your awareness to flow down the front of your body,
Back down through the throat,
Through the chest,
Through the belly and back into the base of the spine.
Circling around,
Inhaling up the back of the spine,
All the way,
All the way up,
You can squeeze your pelvic floor if that's part of your practice as you're breathing and inhaling up the back of the spine,
Over the top of the head and as you exhale,
Breathing and releasing and allowing that energy to flow down the front of the body,
All the way down,
All the way back down to the base,
Circling around,
Inhaling,
Squeezing,
All the way up the back of the body,
All the way up,
Squeeze,
Squeeze,
Inhaling all the way up and over the top of the head,
Exhaling,
Releasing,
Releasing the squeeze and allowing the energy to flow back down the front of the body,
Doing this again at your own pace for a few more rounds,
Allowing your breath to circulate your energy and your awareness to circulate in this microcosmic orbit,
Cycling through your whole body,
Bringing that pelvic root energy all the way up and over and back down as you wash it through all of the chakras,
Integrating,
Allowing.
A few more rounds,
Inhaling up the back of the spine,
Squeezing and inhaling up and exhaling up once you reach the top of the head,
Allowing it to flow back down.
Two more rounds on your own.
And as your last exhale here reaches the base of the spine,
Come into stillness,
Allowing your awareness to reside at the base of your spine for a couple of breaths,
Deeply inhaling in through the nose and exhaling out of the mouth.
Relaxing,
Releasing any holds,
Any tension that is in your breath,
That is in your body,
That is in your mind,
That is in your energetic field.
Just allow it to fall away,
To release,
To relax as you come into a place of stillness and peace,
Bringing your awareness now back up into your heart and just allow your awareness here into your heart.
Feel the beat of your heart,
Feel the energetic pulse of your heart space as you bring your awareness here and just allow it as you breathe.
You have the power within you to thrive,
To create your reality on purpose.
You have all of the power you could ever need living within you,
Within your body,
Within your heart,
Within your life force energy.
Feel it now,
Feel your power,
Feel the power of your heart as it beats with your awareness,
Watching,
Observing the sensations.
Your power will slowly be revealed the more intimately in union,
In love with yourself you become.
Feel it now,
Feel the love in your heart cascading through your entire being,
Your entire life,
Your entire world of and for you.
You came here as love,
You are love.
Feel it,
Allow it,
Let it in to your heart.
Taking a few more long,
Slow,
Deep breaths,
Full body breaths,
Relaxing the whole body with every exhale just a little bit deeper,
Relaxing just a little bit deeper and releasing the control of the breath and just allowing yourself to rest in a place of stillness,
Observing the energy in your body,
The sensations moving without controlling it or manipulating it,
Just observing,
Allowing the breath to be normal,
However that feels for you,
Relaxed.
Seeing this peace,
This power with you as you move through your day,
Allowing the doors of the intimate,
Union with self to show themselves to you,
Honor them,
Receive them and allow them in.
As you begin this journey of coming home to the intimate union within you.
