
Grounding Meditation (Getting Anchored In The Root)
Get grounded and anchored into the body, into the lower body through presence and activations of the root chakra. Activations of the pelvic floor and awareness and energy clearing of the sacral and root chakra's. Be guided to drop down into the body, and root into the Earth for a deeply grounded presence to go about your day.

So just coming to a seated position.
You can have your legs crossed or you can be sitting in a chair with your feet on the floor.
Closing your eyes and taking a few really deep cleansing,
Grounding breaths.
Deep inhales in through your nose.
Exhaling,
Sighing out of your mouth.
Just taking a few of those.
On your next inhale now,
Breathing even deeper down below the chest.
Breathing down,
Down into your womb or your womb space,
Down into your genital space,
Down into the base of your spine.
Bringing that inhale all the way down there and then as you exhale releasing a nice sigh,
Clean,
Cleansing exhale.
Sticking your tongue out of your mouth if it feels good.
Sighing,
Making any noises that want to be made.
Just breathing like this for a few rounds.
Really coming into this moment,
Coming into this space.
Dropping down into your body,
Eyes closed if it feels comfortable,
Really rooting.
Feeling your sick bones on the chair,
Your feet on the ground,
Your feet are on the ground.
Just continue breathing like this,
These deep breaths in through your nose and exhaling out of your mouth and gently start to rock your pelvis back and forth a few times.
Just bringing some motion so that your awareness and your intention is all brought down to the base of your body,
To your seat.
Some gentle rocks back and forth of the pelvis,
Breathing.
You can even start to move the pelvis in a circle for a few rounds.
Moving clockwise,
Inhaling,
Exhaling out of the mouth,
Switching directions if you're going in circles.
Just coming into a place of stillness.
Deep inhale all the way down to the base of your spine,
Into your seat,
Into your pelvic floor.
Exhaling.
And again,
Inhaling into your seat,
Into the base of your spine.
This time as you exhale,
I want you to imagine that there's a cord running from the base of your spine,
Dropping down,
Down through your chair,
Down through the floor,
All the way down into the earth.
Inhaling and exhaling as you drop this cord,
Allow a color to come to this cord,
Maybe any color,
Whatever color shows to you,
Just see it now,
See this cord as a color.
Allow it,
That's the color you're working with with your cord today.
It may be different every time you do this meditation.
Dropping down,
Dropping this cord all the way down as you deeply inhale in through your nose,
Exhaling out of your mouth,
Dropping this cord,
This is your grounding cord,
The base of your spine from your seat,
All the way down,
Dropping it all the way down to the center of the earth,
And then plugging it in to the center of the earth.
Breathing here,
Just seeing this cord that you just plugged in to the center of the earth,
Feel it.
And then I want you to imagine that you're flipping the switch on on this grounding cord,
Wherever the switch may be for you,
Switching it on now,
And saying to yourself for out loud,
I hereby release any energies that are not mine,
Anything in my field that is no longer serving me today,
And pulling myself down and grounding myself into the earth.
I release now,
I ground now,
And breathing,
And just feel as energy begins to flow down this cord from your body,
Observe where it may be moving from,
Allow it to move,
Feel the sensations in your body as you feel the energy shifting,
As it wants to move,
As it wants to be released,
As the earth wants to pull it from you,
For you.
Just allow it as you breathe,
Observing the sensations,
Maybe you feel tightness,
Maybe there's constriction,
Maybe there's bubbling or tingling,
Welcome it all and just observe it,
Notice it,
Speak any sensations that may be exasperated,
Speak them out loud.
Mmm constriction in my low belly,
Cramping,
Breathing,
I release you down,
Down to the earth,
As I ground and become one with the earth,
Just releasing,
Continue to breathe here for a few more breaths as you allow yourself to release down this grounding cord,
Anything that's no longer serving you,
Just allowing yourself to breathe in and out,
Just breathing and allowing.
On your next inhale,
You're going to travel with your awareness all the way back down to the center of the earth where you have this grounding cord plugged in and you're going to feel the earth's energy,
Give it a quality,
Maybe it's of sand or soil,
Maybe it's alkaline dirt like the playa,
Or grass,
Maybe it's stone or marble.
Just allow whatever earthly quality you'd like to work with today to come to you with your awareness down in the center of the earth,
Feeling this quality,
This texture of the earth and then allowing,
Allowing this earthly quality to travel up this grounding cord as you breathe this earthly quality up,
Up,
Up.
It's traveling up your grounding cord and finally it arrives into your seat,
Into the base of your spine,
The bottoms of your feet,
If your feet are on the ground,
And allow this earthly quality to permeate your body as it rises up on the inhale,
Feel it,
Feel it rising.
Breathing and allowing,
Observing anywhere it may get tripped up or stuck or not want to move as much,
Breathe through it,
Allow it,
See if you can open your body more to allow this earth energy to come into your body,
Into your field,
Allow it to anchor you into your lower body,
Into the earth,
Filling your body up with this earthly energy.
Just breathing,
Allowing.
Just feel yourself now feeling more relaxed,
More grounded,
Relaxing your entire body,
Shoulders,
Neck,
Face,
Hands and ankles.
Relaxing,
Allowing yourself to be grounded in your body,
Grounded to the earth,
Anchored,
Anchored to what lies below.
Breathing,
Inhaling in through your nose,
Exhaling out of your mouth.
We're going to move into a sacral clearing now,
So bringing all of your awareness into your sacral center,
About three inches or a hands width below your belly button.
You can place your hands there now if you wish,
That helps you to bring your awareness there.
First just bringing your awareness here and observing any sensations that may be present if you can feel them.
Maybe it feels tight or constricted,
Maybe it feels numb,
Maybe you feel completely disconnected,
Maybe it's tingling,
Buoyant,
Throbbing.
Whatever the sensations may be,
Just feel them and allow them.
Come to a place of acceptance with whatever you're feeling in this sacral centering your body.
Feel it,
Breathing into it.
Now,
I want you to imagine that in this sacral center,
In this place about three inches or a palms width below your belly button,
Imagine a bright orange ball glowing in this space in your body.
Maybe it starts out small,
Just feel it,
Take your mind there now,
There's a bright orange ball in your sacral and it's glowing.
Just allow this ball to start expanding as you breathe on the inhale,
Expanding and it's getting bigger.
And as you exhale,
Feel this bright orange ball collapse and get smaller,
It's moving with your breath as you inhale this orange ball that's expanding and as you exhale,
It's contracting.
Doing this for a few rounds,
Just getting really present with your energy and your awareness in this sacral center.
Now with your awareness,
Keeping this orange ball here,
You're going to allow this orange ball to shift in a circle in a direction that it may,
It can stay the same size,
Just allow it to roll around in the sacral center.
As you imagine it magnetizing,
Anything in your sacral center that desires and wishes to be released,
That is out of alignment,
That is imbalanced,
It needs healing or clearing.
Feel this orange glowing ball in your sacral as it rolls around in its sacral socket,
Let's say.
And it's attracting and gathering all of the energy in your sacral that does not belong,
It's no longer serving you,
It's maybe malnourished or excess,
Allowing this orange glowing sacral ball to shift the spectrum of orange if it's getting denser and color because of all of the energy that it's magnetizing to it that it's wanting to release.
Just filling it up,
Allowing it to show you it's changing color,
Maybe it's got dust particles in it,
This is a trash,
Just allow your imagination to take you there.
Don't analyze it or think into it,
Just notice what your body is showing you or what you're feeling if you're not seeing,
What you're experiencing with your awareness here.
If you feel this orange ball filling up,
It's getting bigger,
It's feeling more full,
It's ready to release.
And whenever you feel ready,
Just allowing for this orange ball to shift into a violet-white healing light.
Breathing,
Maybe it continues gathering.
And once this ball is able to morph into this violet-white light,
I invite you to send it down your grounding cord and say a prayer of,
I release you,
I release you into the earth.
May the earth transmute you and rebalance you and alchemize you into where you belong.
I release,
I release,
I release.

And allow all of this excess,
More unproductive or even not yours,
Sacral energy to travel with this white light down your grounding cord and into the center of the earth.
Allowing the earth to take it from here as you gently unplug your cord from here,
Bringing yourself back up into your body.
Still feeling that your body is full of this earthly quality of energy,
You're still grounded,
You're still connected.
Just breathing,
Allowing the breath to come to normal as your body relaxes into this grounded,
Cleansed,
Whole and peaceful space as you move about your day.
