In this meditation I help you come to love and accept your body. I share body positive affirmations that I use daily. I remind you that you are loveable and perfect exactly as you are. As Lousie Hay said, "You have been criticizing yourself for years and it hasn't worked. Try approving of yourself and see what happens." At the end of the meditation I will say NAMASTE.

Hello and thank you for meditating with me.

My name is Lore and I'd like to guide you on a body positivity meditation.

First start out by sitting or lying down in a comfortable position.

Whatever is comfortable for you.

You could be lying down on your bed.

You could be sitting in a comfy chair,

Just whatever is going to relax you.

We all have negative thoughts about our bodies.

Almost everyone I met has something about their body they wish they could change.

I myself wish my tummy were not as flabby as it is.

But I've learned to love myself and my body through self acceptance,

Affirmations and meditation.

Start out by taking a few deep breaths.

Inhale through your nose and then exhale through your mouth.

Notice how that breathing feels.

Inhale,

Exhale.

You can continue this throughout the practice if it's comfortable for you or just return to your normal breathing.

Our bodies carry us through life.

They're with us our whole lives from birth to death.

So it's important that we love our bodies and accept our bodies.

So let's start with some affirmations.

My body is beautiful.

I love my body.

I am grateful to my body for carrying me through life.

And you can repeat those to yourself throughout the day whenever you're having a toxic thought about anything in your body.

So now I want you to focus on the part of your body that makes you uncomfortable that you don't like.

Really think about it and just send some love to that part of your body.

For me it's my stomach.

My stomach is a little bit slabbier than I wish it could be but I'm sending it love and I tell myself my stomach is full of healthy food and I accept that.

I am perfect the way I am.

I am lovable and my body is beautiful.

Whenever I have a toxic thought about a body part I send it some love.

I take a deep breath and I remind myself that my body has carried me through life and it will continue to do so.

Your body is your vessel.

You're the only person you're with forever.

So love your body.

Accept your body.

Be grateful for your body.

Now throughout your day you can repeat these affirmations that I've said and just send your body some love whenever those toxic thoughts come.

Take a few deep breaths and focus on that body part and just say I accept you.

I am grateful for you.

I find that this has been so helpful for me to learn to love my body.

Thank you for joining me on this meditation.

Namaste.
