You know like like I tend to say it's really good to it's really good to just ritualize coming into meditation or coming into a sit because we're just noting the sacredness of that practice and the sacredness of our own selves you know we take ourselves very seriously in that you know in the few moments that we make this sacred and make this ritual and it's really to remember always remembering that whether we notice it or not we are sacred and this is divine ground and this is you know a holy experience of being of breathing of connecting and so just just to hold that all so dearly and yeah so today I think I want to just bring attention to what it means to be still in the midst of transition how to find a stillness even as things are a swirl and a twirl so riding the vicissitudes of this swirly twirly life with even mindedness how do we do that and it's always a practice it's always about practice of course but yeah so let's do that let's just whatever posture position you want to be in whatever you need to do to let your body relax let's take a moment to fidget and adjust and set things up set things up just right for your own body temple to be at ease for your mind to be at ease and I just come into alignment with this inner knowing our soul knowing that all is well that everything we need has been provided that we are fully equipped for this earth excursion there's nothing we need outside of ourselves and so for these few moments we can end the search and drop into the knowingness that it's all right here for us and this is really this is really where we can steady ourselves where the foundation a strong support our resilience it's all here it's all what makes it possible to walk through the things that we walk through and so just allow yourself to come to that stillness drop in beyond words and thoughts see them float away see them fly off in helium balloons and clouds on a breezy day so you settle in start to notice this body and scan your body from the bottom of your feet to the top of your head just slowly moving up and checking in with all of you checking in with this body as you scan up wherever you feel tension and tightness see if you can let that muscle relax see if you can send a little breath there that dissolves that tightness and you're just uh you know you're just the observer of this experience so there's no judgment as best you can it's just a noticing Oh tension Oh sensation and you just allow it to pass 100% energy bodies anything that feels a little tight it's just a block in energy so we're gently unblocking that as our body descends into the supports underneath you into the chair into the bed into the floor into the earth notice your belly and start to send your breath there to your lower belly your mid belly your upper belly as you gently open up without struggle without strain just as far as you can in a easy breath just opening up gradually we're not going for any shocks to the system it's going for gentle easy allowing you open up your belly with a breath check in with your lower back and your hip flexors see if you can send some breath there to loosen ease up open up and then take a breath into your ribs and see if you can isolate that breath into your ribs it'll open them like a book you'll feel a spreading out to the sides and in between each rib and then exhale and allow your ribs to soften and hang just hanging from this skeleton doing nothing but hanging out letting go and then breathe into your chest and open up your heart and let your chest expand let your shoulder heads tip back your collarbones widen open up your throat let your shoulder blades melt down your back and your shoulders fall away from your ears and your throat you can or swallow a few times good idea to stage your throat before you're doing some public speaking for instance or engaging in a conversation so pretty up your throat letting that energy flow the thing about being on a percent energy is that we're always changing we're never static we're never hundred percent solid blocked any of that we're constantly shifting changing moving so as we are sitting today it's not that how do we cope with change it is how do we flow with change how do we let go of the idea that we should not change or things should not change how do we move with it soften your brow swipe away all the concerns and worries and let your scalp melt on top of your head let your arms be heavy your hands turn toward the sky gently open receptive available listening you you you you and then start to breathe from your root to your nostrils opening up that whole torso making sure belly ribs chest all are reached by that breath and then soften and you can breathe in from root to nostril and breathe out like a wave so let your torso and your spine underlay it a little bit and make the inhale really strong pull in and a strong pull out now I just get all the fluids in your spine flowing and moving and lubricating and allowing your organs to shift around and take up space and all just with breath all just with breath opening up and being in this flow being in this flow the body is all flow all fluids all circulation taking it in assimilating eliminating we never stop we're constantly in that process every cell every fiber and then our energy our subtle bodies are constantly in motion in process doing the same thing taking in assimilating eliminating that's the that is your whole field is engaged with them and then find just an easy breath if you're ready to let go of the waves the waves can feel good of course I always picture the ocean when I do that that's the same dynamic of ebb and flow the expansion and contraction the dynamic of all of life all of nature I'm just find an easy rhythm for your breath the tune in beyond the physical tuning into the supernatural of us the extrasensory you you how do we flow with change how do we keep our channels open keep our hearts open you observe what happens in the silence and the stillness observe what's happening beneath the surface you you you take a deep breath in let it out let yourself drop in a little more let yourself let go a little more attachments to the world you you you you you the thing about change is it comes with a lot of uncertainty in the mind the rational mind it's not very good with uncertainty knowers want to know that's a reason that tune into a different part of us a bigger part of us the mind can't really flow but if we're in flow we bring the mind along you you you take a deep breath in let it out soften and sink a little more descend a little more to the stillness you start to bring your awareness to your heart your heart chakra your high heart the thymus that whole area there just bring your awareness to your heart and inhale into your heart exhale from your heart in front of you and then inhale into your heart exhale behind you there's the back of your heart and then inhale into your heart exhale in every direction that you can imagine filling up your space with heart energy allowing that to flow and inhale again let your chest expand and lift reversing some of that posture that covers up our hearts it comes from sitting at the computer driving or I was just kind of hunched over this opening up like a proud bird breathing in and out of your heart and so what the mind does with uncertainty and change is triggers fear the fear shuts down our heart energy our openness and generosity even our curiosity even our delight in exploring things so we're breathing in and out of the heart to keep that energy open awakened keep ourselves connected to our open hearts so we lead not with fear we lead with love so much of what is happening in the world so much of what might come to our attention as concerns they're all cries for love they're all invitations for more love and so breathe into your heart breathe out from your heart bring your attention to your crown imagine that you're breathing into your crown like it's a portal and it's receive the breath from above that source energy that's pouring into pouring into your crowns to breathe bring your awareness to that source that comes out of the sky way beyond what you can see it's a golden white light pouring into you pouring all around you filling up your body filling up your subtle bodies filling up your whole room with as golden white light breathe into your crown and receive it that cosmic life force that's breathing all of creation into existence and then see that breath travel through you and exhale into the earth beneath your feet connecting with the mother all the fertile goodness of the earth that is your home here belonging your rootedness your purpose your source another way that source loves you and then inhale from the core of the earth up through your earth star chakra beneath your feet all the way up through your system and exhale through your crown into the sky and just picture like a great big fountain of golden white light pouring out of your crown into the sky and surrounding you droplets golden white light and then receive that breath again through your crown and exhale into the earth beneath your feet and we'll continue that with each inhale and exhale so allow your senses to be filled with golden white light So you feel yourself,
Breathe yourself into just that awareness,
That breath,
Body awareness of your connection to all of creation.
Breathe into that awareness of how purposefully placed you are in this life.
Breathe into the awareness that you are sourced,
Fueled,
And funded by the infinite that knows you by name.
Breathe into the awareness that you have never been alone.
Now there's never been a moment that you walk alone.
You are always accompanied.
Breathe into the awareness that you have never been alone.
Take a deep breath in,
Sigh it out.
Do it again.
Take a deep breath in.
One more time,
Breathe in and sigh it out.
And take your hands,
Rub them together,
Get some heat going,
Get some activation in all of your meridians and chakras and all your universal receptors.
And then place your hands on your heart,
Your high heart,
And breathe into your hands and feel your heartbeat.
And take your hands again and keep them up,
Rub them together,
And then place them on your belly from root to solar plexus and breathe into your hands and feel your belly expand.
Big belly associated with prosperity,
Also ease,
Deep relaxation.
And then take your hands again,
Rub them together,
And if you have a little essential oil or something that you can rub in your hands,
A good time to do it.
And you're just going to cup your eyes and cup your eyes and sit one more moment or two in the darkness,
In the warmth of your flesh,
The warmth of your being.
Just take a moment to appreciate yourself just as you are here and now.
And appreciate yourself for sitting today.
Great way to take care of yourself.
And whenever you're ready,
You can open your eyes,
Move your hands and come back,
Come back to the room,
Come back to your body.
