This journey to inner harmony begins by putting yourself in a comfortable position,
Either sitting cross-legged or lying flat on your back,
And gently closing your eyes.
Take a moment before we truly begin to set your intention for this meditation.
Relax deeply,
Know that you're about to connect with your inner wisdom,
And find,
Even if just for a moment,
Some inner peace.
Let's begin by taking a deep breath in through your nose,
Feeling your lungs,
Feeling them expand,
And then exhaling slowly through your mouth.
Release any tension or stress with each breath.
Let's go again.
Inhale deeply,
And exhale slowly.
Again inhale deeply,
And let everything go.
One more time,
Inhale deeply,
Hold,
And let everything go.
Feel your body becoming more relaxed with each breath,
Now in your own gentle rhythm.
Lying at the tips of your toes,
I want you to bring your awareness there,
And slowly,
Ever so slowly,
Bring your awareness up inch by inch,
And as you do,
I want you to relax deeper.
It's as if your attention is a light force,
Cleansing and nourishing every inch of your body the higher you go.
So up your ankles and shins,
To your knees,
To your thighs,
Your hips,
Releasing tension,
Releasing any kind of holding on to anxiety or stress.
Every inch you creep,
You let go of toxicity,
Pain,
Memories that don't serve you,
The stories you tell yourself,
Let it all go and sink into the floor,
Into the earth to be cleansed away.
Sweep over your elbows and your arms,
Sending your inner light to every inch,
Up by your clavicle,
Your shoulders,
Your neck,
To the base of your skull,
Release,
Relax,
You're safe.
Bring your attention,
Washing it all over your skull,
To your forehead,
Over your eyes,
Your cheeks,
Relax your jaw,
Release your tongue from the roof of your mouth,
Even relax into your gums and your teeth,
Bringing that healing light energy generated from within.
Take a deep breath in to cleanse fully,
And release any other toxicity that might be trying to hold on,
Push it out.
Now,
Now that you're fully relaxed and cleansed,
I invite you to visualize yourself in a calm and tranquil place,
It could be a beach,
A peaceful forest,
Or a beautiful garden,
Ancient and overgrown,
Picture yourself there,
Surrounded by beauty and tranquility,
Perhaps the sound of birds or insects,
Feel the warm breeze against your skin,
And smell the sweet smell of the flora and fauna around you.
Take a moment to immerse yourself fully in this peaceful scene,
Noticing the sights and sounds and sensations around you.
As you continue to relax,
Imagine yourself standing at the top of a staircase,
And with each step you take down this staircase,
You'll move deeper into a state of relaxation and inner peace.
Let's begin our descent now.
With each step down,
Feel yourself becoming more and more relaxed,
More and more at peace.
Hold onto the railing if you need to,
And with every step,
Sink deeper and deeper into calm and happiness and tranquility,
Down,
Down,
Step down one more.
Entering into a state of deep relaxation,
You are now at the bottom of the staircase,
Completely relaxed and at peace.
In this state of deep relaxation,
You are now entering the alpha level of mind,
A state of heightened awareness and receptivity.
Here you can access your inner wisdom and intuition more easily.
Take a moment to affirm to yourself,
I am calm,
I am centered,
I am open to receiving guidance.
Now in this state,
Imagine a source of light or wisdom within you,
Glowing brightly at the center of your being.
Feel this light expanding,
Filling you with clarity,
Insight and guidance.
Take a moment to ask any questions you may have,
And listen for the answers that arise from within.
Now take a moment to express gratitude for this experience of inner exploration and growth.
With thanks for the wisdom and guidance you have received,
Know that you can return to this state of deep relaxation and inner harmony whenever you choose.
If you're ready,
Slowly begin to bring your awareness back to the present moment,
Back into your body.
Wiggle your fingers and toes,
Gently stretch your body,
And when you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes.
You should be feeling grounded and refreshed,
Like you just slept for eight hours.
The wisdom and insight that you just generated or connected to from the higher source is very much alive and in the front of your mind.
Use this wisdom that you have just connected with to make small changes in your life to improve and to grow.
That's why you're here.
