Yin Yoga works by slowing things down, signaling safety to the body and inviting the nervous system to shift out of stress and into rest. This practice is ideal when you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or a wind down before bed. Props: Bolster, blocks, and blankets are recommended, though pillows, folded blankets, or books can easily be substituted.
