Tree Holiday Hebrew Chanting [Copied]
With Lisa Friedland
We will celebrate the Hebrew Tree Holiday, Tu Bishvat, with song! Hebrew Kirtan (Chanting) is in the Hebrew language. It includes repeated and mantra-like chanting, call and response, and the aid of instruments. We invite the sacred into our awareness through chant. It is to feel and remember peace, joy, expansiveness. It is to let ourselves come home. You are welcome to be in any posture you find comfortable. You are welcome to listen, chant along, harmonize, or all the above. Lisa shares about pronunciation and translation. There is also opportunity for question and answer. No experience necessary; All are welcome.
