Hello everybody and welcome as always to Thrive After Divorce.

And of course it's me Lisa here with I know I always say an incredible guest because they all have been.

But today I have an incredible guest on a topic that I'm going to warn you all it just chokes me up.

And this is my last interview for this series and I could not have picked a better topic to end on.

And so I would like to welcome Angela Montano to our show.

Welcome Angela.

Hello Lisa and I'm so grateful to be here and thank you I feel honored and trust in the movement of God the movement of love as we just embrace this topic today.

Yeah usually I kind of go over someone's bio but I wanted to introduce you and I thought you could probably tell your bio better than me because it's interesting.

I'll just give people a quick you started your career as a television reporter and host and then you end up as having everything about prayer and every how did that happen?

Well you know for many of us who've walked this particular path and probably you included Lisa you know there are these golden breadcrumbs that we follow along the way and I had many of these.

I was a television news reporter it was really my mother's idea you know she just thought it would utilize my gifts and talents and I had at the time in high school I was like I think I'll be an actress and she didn't want me to go in that direction so I became a television journalist and she was right she had a really good sense of what I'd be good at and yet I was never deeply interested in the news like it wasn't what interested me and even after the very first year of news reporting so many of the stories were the same you know it was they it was not new it was not it was different names to the same thing and I as I would go and do my work as a general assignment news reporter I began to sense a deeper story going on and in the midst of a lot of crisis and drama you know from fires to murders to you know horrible car accidents in the midst of this really human tragedy I felt something deeper and I began to need to investigate that something deeper and that led me to many books and paths and eventually I ended up in Los Angeles and became a spiritual practitioner and what that is is I work very much like a therapist in that I see client hour after hour after hour and unlike a therapist that works from a psychoanalytic point of view I'm working from a spiritual point of view which to me means wholeness you know I am here to perceive your wholeness the wholeness that is even in the midst of divorce now that's what I was seeing in these like I said these terrible accidents and fires and violent crimes that I covered I was sensing wholeness like how could wholeness be in the midst of what appears to be horrible and so as a counselor from a spiritual point of view I'm just I listen and I feel into that wholeness and how do I serve that person in manifesting in coming into alignment and in tune with that wholeness that is that endures that prevails and I've done over 20,

000 sessions in 25 years I'm founder of something called Rethink Prayer rethinkprayer.

Com you know so many of us think of prayer as a religious you know a religious practice and I'm wanting people and I'm I celebrate every religion I'm not like anti-religious at all I celebrate I study world religions and yet I know prayer belongs in that domain of a spiritual practice and religions have contributed greatly to prayer but you don't have to be religious to tap into what prayer is to benefit from the extraordinary practice of prayer.

And you don't have to be in a church?

No.

Or do things that we see um kneel by your bed or those things I pray all day long and I rely on prayer and it's what I tell people to do when because everybody has access you can't do it wrong and it's just to me a sense of surrender too.

Yeah and you know someone like you you probably have prayer in your bones and you have found your way to prayer that through the arduous journey of life you know like prayer keeps you in alignment with your higher power to make it through a simple day a hard day you know whatever is going on and yet the number one question I'm asked Lisa is how do you pray?

So many people even when we've grown up within religious context it's like no what is the nuts and bolts of prayer how do you pray and as our relationship to higher power changes you know where many many many people are no longer thinking of God as a male deity you know with a white beard you know sitting on some clouds saying I'll help you and too bad for you many of us are integrating a higher powers like God is the breath within my breath God is nearer than my you know hands or feet closer than breathing like the more you integrate an awareness of love divine love is higher power going before you beside you behind you within you it's like a lot of people are like well I'm feeling some growth in terms of spirituality or mysticism so what who am I praying to what am I praying to and what I like to tell people don't worry so much about that what you're praying to it's really what you're praying from you know when you're it's what you're praying from when you're praying through the day Lisa you're praying from a humility you're praying from an awareness that you want to reach beyond and that's what my most essential definition of prayer is it's just the instinct to reach beyond you're praying from an awareness that now I'm kind of suffering maybe you're suffering over what to order on a menu maybe you're suffering over what treatment to give your child who's in the hospital I mean it could be the tiniest thing or what feels like the stakes are so hard and high your heart is breaking in a million pieces but you're reaching beyond fear doubt worry prayer is the instinct to reach beyond to a field a unified field I call it the prayer field where there's clarity where there's divine direction where there's peace beyond human understanding so it's that's what we want to be interested in is praying from I want to pray from an openness that there's a better idea than I've got right now right now I'm really my mind is going ABCDE with resentment and I'm building my resentment and I'm coming up with more reasons to be resentful and more reasons to be resentful you know different people to be resentful towards you know like my mind in fear I like what Annie Lamont said she goes my mind is like a bad neighborhood better not in or alone sometimes our thinking gets the best of us when we're captivated by fear and so prayer is all about lifting out of that I don't want to live resent it I don't want to live bitter I don't want to live afraid so I look to the hills from when's help comes I look to the higher ground within my own consciousness so I access an idea like compassion forgiveness this is a new moment leave the past with the past and I might pray a simple prayer like heal my perception of John heal my perception of that situation and what happened amen now how long did it take me to say that prayer just now right and that's if people I think it's almost like a habit you build I would say 80% of my prayers are of gratitude and thanks or just asking one that it's not mine I heard but just asking for the most benevolent outcome yes that's a beautiful one you know and just trusting but just not praying for something specific and being let down if I didn't get it just praying for the highest good the most benevolent outcome or a prayer of thank you but I think it's kind of habit that you create as well right and what I'm interested in at rethink prayer is giving people a toolbox of prayer methodologies so that they can pull out of their toolbox what they need like if you're into aromatherapy and you need a little pick-me-up you might rub some peppermint on your palms or temples you know and with a little oil and get a little burst now you're not going to do that before you go to bed at night because you're wanting to go to sleep so maybe you pull out lavender you know if I use the analogy of a toolbox if we're working on our car which most of us don't do for ourselves but I grew up where my dad actually taught me how to work on my car I had a very old car but you know you use one tool for one thing another tool for another thing and so so often people have so many limited tools like if you only know the prayer of thanks and you're hurting you don't feel grateful that's a really hard place to get to right so you need another kind of prayer and sometimes I remember it like literally divorce brought me to my knees remember falling to my knees my bedroom and looking up I don't know why we always look up and I didn't just address it to God I truly addressed it to anybody who would listen yes like I think at some point life brings you to that on your knees where you are just to that point where like I don't care who it is just anyone up there yeah it can help I need it yes and I love that because you know the word God I call it toxic God syndrome you know that word for some people brings tears to their eyes in a sense of comfort to other people that word they maybe had a difficult situation with the religion they grew up they think of God as judgmental they maybe they think well I'm divorced so I shouldn't have everybody you know I shouldn't have gotten divorced you know and so they don't feel they can pray to God because of their because of their perception of God as disapproving so that's a great thing Lisa's telling us and I really want us all to take a page out of her book here you know I love the idea of praying to anyone or anything that can listen or help because one of the things we're wanting to connect to when we pray is we're wanting to pierce a sense of isolation you know we're wanting to pierce that sense of I'm all alone and if I don't have a felt sense of God whatever you know whatever benevolent presence is in the universe connected to me maybe it's you know an ancestor or a holy man or woman or maybe it's someone living on the earth right now you know when I think of nuns and monks who live in monasteries and these individuals many of them get up at 4 a.

M.

And one of the prayers they do is they pray for humanity and guess what that includes you Lisa that includes me someone woke up at four o'clock in different time zones around the world to pray for you but many of us don't receive it because we're just ignorant that that kind of benevolence is even happening like you could walk by a hundred dollar bill on the sidewalk and if you're not on the lookout for it you're not paying any attention you don't realize money's laying on the street for you right we walk right by it so many of these amazing prayers that are in consciousness go unheeded I have a daughter who's graduating high school this year and you know everybody you know you've probably heard this if you've got any children this age anybody but you know everybody says there's all these scholarships that no one applies to you know make sure you apply to these you know there's like a scholarship for if you're left-handed you know and but you know you get busy you get focused on graduation and just nobody takes them nobody receives them it's like that with prayer there's all of these prayers and so we're talking about two things here one is yes pray but the other is receive prayer receive the prayers yes and what you just said is what I was thinking to ask you in my mind it was like telepathic that there are so many things you may not be aware of like I think of different cultures that maybe you know a Indian or a native culture you know would say pray to a certain animal or a certain wind or just different cultures that if you don't know so that's why I leave it open to anyone that wants to help yes yeah you know it's but I don't know to ask them for help maybe I don't know the perfect thing or person or energy to ask so if I open that doorway I just hope I'm setting a welcome mat out right and that that's such a great example Lisa because you're really again humility is what you're entering into prayer with you know when you when you're admitting I may not know and so I'm just open you know infinite beloved benevolent presence is in the universe I don't maybe know what to call you or what your name is all I know is I'm available to be uplifted I'm available to be healed I'm available to be directed in this moment amen that's a prayer oh yeah that's what I really wanted to have you today to maybe bus cement that people think you can only do it at night or you have to do it on your knees or it has to be long or to know I mean it can just be a split second but it's hurt exactly and I teach that we can pray in our prayer chair where we take you know five minutes ten minutes or more we can write in a prayer journal and we can really have a dedicated prayer practice and that can be an incredible benefit on many levels in fact through the through the research done now through a new field called neurotheology because you know prayers been studied and studied and studied and all the results come out very mixed and it's because it's very difficult to study I could say to you okay you know let's pray for these people in the hospital but not these people and let's see what happens but I don't know a grandmother's not praying for the person not in that group of you know like it's very difficult to get a control group and then who I dedicate to pray how do I tell them how to pray you know there's just so many variables and so it's been a very difficult thing I mean some of the studies show that prayer would be considered a miracle medicine if it were a drug being approved by the FDA others show well you know nothing you know we don't see any definitive results but comes along on these incredible advancements that have been made in how we image the brain you see now we have these incredible ways of taking images pictures of the brain that's why neuroscience is just a just exploding field and so they're now taking images of people's brains while they pray and they're looking at what lights up and it's and now the theory is if you did 12 minutes of prayer a day and that doesn't mean all at one time like you know all your day long of prayer Lisa if you're doing 12 minutes of prayer a day you are reversing and or preventing age-related memory loss because of what because of that specific activity in the brain it's very interesting that whole field so that's separate and apart from the results you get from prayer I'm just talking about the activity of prayer is good for you like eating a vegetable might be good for you well I think it it gives you a sense of hope or power over things you can't control yes and it even I was as you were speaking I I thought I wanted to ask you your opinion on there's a lot of kids going through divorce and they're powerless they really have not much say or control over where they're gonna live or what's gonna happen and I know I love using prayer with my daughters when there's not that much they can do maybe even for a friend but to teach them you can pray what we can do for that person is pray so you know you know I think I in it depends on the age of the child but um and it depends on the culture of the family and how they relate to prayer in an ideal scene you know it would be wonderful you know if both parents prayed with and for the child you know that they're not alone to pray that you know we know this is hard for you and this is hard for us and we're confused and we're scared and we've got to turn this over to a higher power we know we're changing through this decision that we've made that we're changing your life and we want to pray that you are protected and you are guided according to a love greater than than anything in this world and so we bless you as you find your way through this and we are going to pray for you because what happens so often with divorce as as probably many know it's it's when you want to pay the most attention to your child but it's when your attention is split more than ever you're finding a new home maybe you're going to now start dating so if you're you know even in marriages that aren't thriving you know a lot of attention goes to the kids you you know and that kind of can work but when when everything's up ended through divorce it's very it's very difficult to to feel like you're paying enough attention to your children and then there what's also very common with divorce is parents overcompensate they choose okay now that I've done this and it's affected my child I don't deserve to have a life of my own I've got to do everything for my child to make sure they're okay and then that ends up not being a good example for the child either you know so the idea of pray let's all lean into a higher power none of us are alone here is good and then to give the child and again I'm I'm speaking very generally because it would be different according to age but there's something very childlike about prayer anyway so in some ways you might give the same prayer to a teenager that you would give to an eight-year-old but you know you know so if if a family uses the term God God help me through this day help me through this weekend visit with my dad or mom help I love the prayer help because I think of H-E-L-P hello eternal loving presence hello eternal loving presence help is acknowledging that you're important it's a prayer of high self-esteem because you're saying I deserve help and you're acknowledging a higher power hello eternal loving presence and and so you could offer a simple prayer like that to one's child to suggest to them that they could use and see how it goes now again you know in the individuation process in the teenage years you know that's when a lot of times children daughters and sons are are resistant to the advice of a parent and so that that becomes difficult and in that case I would say just pray for your child just pray for them right now Angela what about to address the other side because there may be people listening that are saying I did pray and it didn't work well you know I would love to have a specific example but I think what you're talking about there is like when we outline the outcome yeah I mean just that person yeah yeah yeah it didn't work and and you know I I think when you are moving through a divorce or your divorce and you're creating a new life for yourself what you must embrace is process that life is a process divorce is a process moving on afterwards is a process I want it all done in 30 minutes like a sitcom you know I want it all wrapped up it worked it didn't work and I think when people think their prayers didn't work they're not and I'll say that you know even for me if I think a prayer didn't work I'm not embracing the process you know I am here to grow I like the book The Road Less Traveled by M Scott Peck and he's got a chapter in there on life living life by grace and it talks about you know the alpha and the omega you know it's been said that God is the alpha and the omega okay so if divine love or God or our higher power is both the beginning and end what the does a higher power one of us and what he says in this book is what what we're all growing into is that we're to be like God we are to be the forgiveness the compassion the peace the patience so often when a prayer looks like it's not working it is working it's working for a deeper greater growth spiritually mentally and emotionally physically that we of our own limited sense of self we of our own ego structure would never have signed up for like if I from my ego I would probably be sitting by a pool never aging eating chocolate and just you know I don't know I would just be hedonistic because that part of me just wants to live forever look good and not hurt yeah you know those things that hurt instruct but on a soul level I came here to awaken to healing power forgiveness love peace it's just like we put our kids in school don't we and we give them problems like math problems because we know by solving the problem they're gonna grow yeah and it's like on a soul level I think we sign on for what we think of as problems because our higher power is interested in our growth but I think it's our ego that says oh that prayer didn't work because I don't feel good yet or the outcome or circumstance I associated with my peace of mind did not come to pass that just says to me there's more miracles for you there's more miracles there's a deeper deeper deeper possibility that's bigger and better than you think on your from your limit itself one thing that was taught to me by a teacher that I really live by now is you can ask for the essence or want the essence of something but we don't get to choose the form it comes in it's interesting I had a teacher and I kind of lived by this I actually lived by this too Lisa and it was don't outline the outcome right don't say outline the outcome and another way of putting it is give up all expectation and replace that with an expectancy of good like you you and I could go the movies tonight I could have the expectation oh I'd rather use this is going to be a wonderful movie yeah and I go and I'm like I wasn't a great movie I didn't like it so I'm disappointed it didn't meet my expectations but I could go out with you to the movies and have an expectancy of good going out with Lisa I'm just kind of an expectancy of good so maybe the movie isn't great but maybe the walk to the car we have a great conversation or maybe we have a dinner that's good but an expectancy of good put you on the lookout for the good you know is life disappointing me now is life disappointing me now is life disappointing me now is very harsh unforgiving way to live but when we go expectancy of good expectancy of good oh you know I chose to wear a coat tonight and it was cold I'm glad I did that you know you start noticing the good and it's a whole different world can I ask you since you're an expert on it and I'm guilty of this and I cracked myself up because it because I have my beliefs but I'm really guilty of saying the same prayer over and over and I think whoever listening must get insulted at some point like they want to look at me go we heard you right can you do that do you think you can I want to speak to that I so appreciate that and I want to say you know whoever's listening and it is a mystery who's listening but I think who's listening for sure is what I'm just going to call your own higher power you know whoever and whatever you are beyond any and all attachments you have in this world like your own god essence or higher power and I think repetition is a beautiful beautiful beautiful prayer tool and for thousands of years you know in different religions especially eastern religions mantras have been used and a mantra is a sound or a prayer that is the same thing and when you know I was talking about kids in school like repetition you know if you're on a spelling bee I'm sorry if you're a spelling test you better learn to spell new words you might repeat that word repeat that word spell it again spell it again there's something so holy and there's something so divine in just the mantra repetition prayer like a prayer I do often is I surrender all I surrender all I surrender all I surrender all it does something to me because I'm I have issues with perfectionism and I can get very just like we're talking about outlining the outcome it's almost like before I before I even know it I've decided how it should go and I've decided I failed or I haven't you know and and so for me not for everybody but for me and my personality type I surrender all makes me very available to divine grace which is the right path for me now someone who doesn't have my issue and it's maybe very different for me that might not be the right prayer maybe they they need to do more of a I claim joy today you know and ask you know you know the presence of love to direct me you know it might be a different kind of commanding kind of prayer right so I just want to say like Lisa said in the beginning there's no way to do it wrong but I think repetition is very beautiful now I do want to say something else though but the interesting thing is where does a repetitious a prayer said in repetition go from that mantra holy energy chipping away at your own sense of separation from good or God where does that turn into what we might call a rote prayer so many people I've worked with who said you know learn these prayers and I said them but I was never connected to them you know like yada yada yada yada yada yada yada yada they never meant anything to me and my Sunday school teacher never made them mean anything to us you know so you know when our prayers become when we when we're saying them but we're not even awake to we're saying them then we might want to switch it up a bit right it's like when you get home from driving and you're like I don't even hardly remember that car ride right every day right and so you know note when that happens because then you might want to change it a little bit just to to be more present to your prayer life what about using tools and I'm gonna kind of lead up here to the free gift that generous gift that you brought but using tools like even if you don't have words but you light a candle or I have a couple books of prayers that sometimes if I just know the topic but I don't know the words I can find a prayer on that and say it and it gives me comfort yeah I call those prayer prompts prompts and I think they're wonderful you know I mean you know I just offer to anybody I mean you could just google prayer books or you know like to have something that resonates with you there's there that that that that when you're not really thinking of the prayer for yourself just having someone else's words written and you can just fold into those words you can recite those words you can receive those words is wonderful you know for me you know one of the things I've worked on through my life is just being grounded you know many of us who tend to be mystical in nature you know are more challenged to be deeply grounded and I'm very fortunate to be as grounded as I am but when I light a candle it grounds my energy it centers me in my prayer time you know what I like sorry I'll just finish one thing that yeah yeah I really like three wicked candles because I feel like I can acknowledge either past present future father son holy ghost you know for me whatever but I can acknowledge and honor kind of a few things at once yeah and that that's beautiful I love that idea and note when you're saying it you're bringing presence you're bringing consciousness you're bringing ceremony to the lighting of that candle and maybe one day you need to do past present and future maybe you've been living in the past that day you need to just release the past trust the future and be in the present or maybe you're feeling a connection to the you know idea of father son holy ghost or some other trinity that is based in religion or it might be your three children or whatever it is but many people just light a candle not thinking and so I want to say I love the idea of like bringing something you know faith hope love you know forgiveness peace compassion whatever and trust it'll bubble up but just as Lisa said I love the three-wick candle it doesn't mean like oh we've all got to go out and buy three-wick candles but notice know what comes up for you like that like just like that just bubble up for her that just organically came to her something organically will come to you you know and let's bring ourself present to the moment we like the candle for me I like to light an incense some people like they can't stand that smell so it's very unique and individual and personal it really is it could be that you bake cookies and give them to the neighbor I mean right but the point that I want to say though is there really is something to setting the tone if I'm like you know making lunches for my kids and then I'm gonna sit down and prayer it's just like I feel like I'm sitting there but I'm really thinking of my grocery list or the laundry I've got to do or the fact that I've got to get ready for work so when you light a candle or an incense or you put that book beside you or maybe you get a particular blanket or shawl you like or you brew a cup of tea or coffee and then you be get you you enter into that quiet time it becomes a transition so you're turning within when I have people shut their eyes I say no think of them as little shades that you're shutting you're shutting the shades to the outer world and you're turning inward you know you're turning to the vast infinite within and and and and I think if we don't honor those transitions need to be made we go oh well prayer didn't work for me I sat in that chair for five minutes and nothing happened I just thought about how angry I was so the prompts and these things you speak up they really can assist in shifting your way of being so you can enter into prayer.

And I think that's a perfect time to bring up the gift that you brought for people.

So the gift I brought is just 15 prayers and they're all audio recorded they're less than two minutes each they're my voice and what I've done is they're 15 qualities I'm praying for quality so one day we might pray for the quality of love so that I might be more loving you might be more loving give more love self-love love to others and so that day we might pray about allowing love to flow another day you know is a prayer for forgiveness and how do we be self-forgiving forgiveness of others what's the cleansing power of forgiveness so we open to that another day it's abundance how do I focus on all the many blessings and all that overflows in my life rather than what I think is missing or lacking so they're very simple prayers and I hope that they will really serve you to be kind of bathed in prayer what I like about this is you don't have to do anything you don't even have to read anything you press a button I pray for you and you get to receive and that's one of the things I love about prayer I'm a person who practices meditation I also practice yoga what I love about prayer and prayer really is the love of my life in a certain way is that I can't do yoga for you today Lisa and I can't even meditate for you I might do yoga and meditate and be a better person to be around for you but I can't do those practices for you but I can pray for you and I love that and you can pray for me and we can pray for each other and I just I think that's so deeply precious I do too and we will of course list that URL do you would it be too much just to end with you saying a prayer for everybody all of us yes I would love that and I do want to say one other thing you know I have this online course on a website called daily own calm and I love it because it's gift of ism you can pay $15 $25 $35 and it really it's 21 days of how to pray so if through this interview with Lisa you want more tools for your toolbox it's super affordable it's 18,

000 people as of this date are in that course and I feel very proud of it and I feel like it will really give you all you need in terms of a toolbox so I just want to if for anybody who wants more it's it's it's a it's a it's a nice resource you know I brought up the daily home on this to I love I start every day with the daily all I love it I've done many programs I have seen yours and so I I highly recommend and it's so affordable yeah and I'm really really offering it not because I'm trying to get more sales but true because I feel it answers so many questions believe me if I could have a daily own t-shirt I would wear her own town saying because you really everyone listening you have an option to pay you know it's on an honor system if you can do 15 25 or 45 some of the programs for a year yeah so and you get to keep whatever you buy for you know like you don't have to get it all done within the 21 days for example so Lisa as I pray for us you know just direct me a little bit like what would you like prayer for or what would you like prayer for in terms as as you think of your listeners and anyone right now who is in a place of fear and pain I had a young listener from Minnesota reach out yesterday her name is Sarah and I know this is helping her and so if we can just envision those young or older or every age because we all feel that same fear and pain in divorce and so shall I so shall I direct this prayer since we are talking about thriving after divorce shall I I'm gonna do it really around divorce is that good for you that is perfect I I trust that the words will be downloaded that we need to hear okay beautiful so let us focus our attention on our breathing and I like to think about the like the rim of my nostrils you know you can kind of feel the air you can really notice the breath come in and you know you can feel the breath go out there so if you can place your mind's eye at the rim of your nostrils and just let's do a couple breaths so we're just paying attention to our breathing how deeply grateful I am to be with Lisa and to be with each and every person present listening to this prayer in this moment I know before I've even uttered a word something magnificent is happening that I am you are we are more than we think we are and more is going on than meets the eye and the infinite unconditional love of this universe is real and I'm knowing I am you are we are born out of this law and this love is the great healer the great comforter the great restorer and I'm knowing the restoration the healing the comfort needed in this moment is present I'm knowing fear and doubt and worry being dissolved through the awareness that love heals all I'm knowing this love is right where you are right where I am right where we are and I'm knowing a surrender a letting go into love I bless this experience of divorce as holy as an experience that maybe none would have chosen or maybe some did choose but the pain of it is certainly nothing that we want and I'm knowing that that that pain that fear is fertilizer that it is it is it is it is being utilized in some way we don't fully recognize and this pain and this fear is allowing us to let go of that which is to be released and I really do feel a deep sense of letting go as I speak this word right now that letting go is the order of the day letting go letting go of the should this should have happened she should have been he should have been he should be I should be they should be it's releasing all the should all the should energy letting go relinquishing it should be different than the way it is that is the recipe for suffering that we're releasing right now I'm open to really receive on behalf of all of us here that the way it is is the perfect environment for the next greater yet to be because it's from the ashes that the Phoenix rises it is from the ashes that the Phoenix rises so I am knowing newness that there's a new day there's a new life and we really do bless the past and all that has been and all that is right now opening to this greater love that's being birthed even through this painful labor I accept magnificent joy that is not dependent upon outcome or circumstance but the joy of being the joy that is sourced from source energy joy that is free of well I have the joy because this happened or I don't have the joy because this didn't happen joy that simply is not of this world and I lay claim to this joy I lay claim to this joy for each and every person listening this joy is yours you are not restricted from joy so I open the heart space I open the mind to joy for no reason no matter what simply because even in the midst of this even in the midst of this joy joy joy and so when we may we together agree that joy belongs to all of us no matter what has happened it is in the renewing truth of joy that I celebrate a movement of truth that's happened through prayer that's deeply personal and deeply universal this prayer has come out of our gathering unique to us in this moment and yet it lives eternally and I claim I'm awake and alive to it in my sail cells as I call forth for you a deep opening to joy beyond human understanding independent of all circumstances and I name this to be a time of holy transformation for good and greater good I release this word I let go and I let God I allow and let it be accepting it is already done so be it and so it is amen amen amen wow thank you for that gift you're so welcome and I hope you all well I hope you all take that prayer to heart and carry it with you all day yes and beyond thank you Lisa thank you and uh yep I knew I was gonna cry this interview so thank you and everybody come back tomorrow I want to clarify this was my personal last interview for the series it is not the last one being aired so keep coming back tomorrow and I'm gonna pray for all you thank you thank you you
