Heart Chakra Cleanse: Heal Relationships & Foster Self-Love
Your being consists of seven main chakras or energy centres. These chakras are all connected through energetic pathways. Chakras are understood to provide profound energy that assists in intellectual work, mindfulness, and organ function. Here, we will focus on balancing and clearing the fourth of the seven main chakras. This chakra is located at the very centre of your chest and is referred to as the heart chakra or anahata. This chakra is associated with the element air and is responsible for love, compassion, and empathy. It helps to heal relationships, foster self-love, and clear away feelings of anger, resentment, judgment, jealousy, and loneliness. Your heart chakra is able to support you in all of these ways and more, but only when it is properly cleansed so that it can remain clear and balanced. Allow your heart chakra to open. Watch it spin, glow, and grow. Come into your natural ability to feel kind, compassionate, and empathetic. You are love.

Welcome to your heart chakra guided meditation.
Our bodies and our being are made up of energetic pathways.
And along these energetic pathways exist energy centers or energetic bundles.
These are referred to as chakras.
Our chakras govern how we think,
How we feel and how we act.
They even govern our overall health.
At times our chakras can come out of alignment.
They can become blocked or even closed.
When this happens we may begin to experience symptoms such as unwanted thoughts,
Emotional imbalance,
Unexplained behavior and even physical ailments.
It is through healthy chakra cleansing and clearing practices that we can bring our chakras back into alignment,
Open them up and remove blockages.
This brings us back to a place where we can experience clear thinking,
Emotional balance,
Comfortable behavior and a healthy physical form.
If you have not done so already,
I invite you to comfortably and softly close your eyes.
If you are not yet comfortable closing your eyes,
Simply lower your gaze.
Come away from external distractions,
Bringing your focus inward,
Focusing in deeper and deeper.
The heart chakra is located in the very center of your chest.
This chakra is associated with the element air and it presents itself in a beautiful glowing shade of green.
The heart chakra is responsible for love,
Compassion and empathy.
When our heart chakra is out of alignment,
Closed or even blocked,
We can tend to experience feelings of hate,
Anger,
Resentment or even judgment,
Not just towards others but even toward ourselves.
We can begin to act in a way that does not foster healthy relationships or allow us to have relationships at all.
This will cause us to experience difficulty interacting with other people or other beings.
A blocked heart chakra can even present symptoms such as heart and lung complications,
Poor circulation or even soreness and tightness in the chest and shoulders.
When the heart chakra becomes cleansed and cleared,
You can begin to experience these negative symptoms lessen and start to experience nourished and healthy relationships,
Both with others and with yourself.
You will find it easier to connect with other beings in a healthy way.
Physical symptoms will start to subside.
You will be able to breathe deeply and meaningfully,
Experience healthy and proper circulation and find comfort and relaxation in your chest and shoulder area and even more so be able to experience love and feel compassion and empathy in abundance.
Take this time to settle yourself in to a comfortable position.
You may sit,
Stand,
Lay down or come into any posture that feels most suitable to you.
Get comfortable and at the same time practice healthy posture,
Aligning that spine,
Dropping shoulders back if you can,
Relaxing your arms,
Legs,
Feet and hands,
Experiencing a vast wave of relaxation wash over your body,
Unclench your jaw,
Unpurse your lips,
Soften your eyes,
Removing the tension from behind your eyes and relaxing your forehead and just feeling a complete sense of peace and calm,
Starting from the very top of your head and moving down all the way through your body,
Down to the very tips of your toes,
Falling deeper into relaxation,
Deeper and deeper.
If you can,
Take both of your hands and place your palms over the top of your heart chakra.
Place your hands over the very centre of your chest.
Focus in deeper here.
Acknowledge this space.
What do you see here?
What do you find?
Do you see your bright,
Glowing,
Green heart chakra?
Give it time to present itself and allow it to spin,
Grow and glow.
When you begin to experience your heart chakra here,
You may bring your hands back down and allow them to rest comfortably,
Still focusing in on your bright,
Green,
Glowing heart chakra.
Allow yourself to breathe,
Breathing in through your nose if you can and breathing out comfortably.
With every breath inward,
Bring in the energy that your heart chakra requires to cleanse,
To grow and to become even brighter,
Nourishing your heart chakra with every inward breath.
And with every outward breath,
Allow yourself to release the blockages,
To release anything that may be impeding on your heart chakra.
Contacting deep,
Meaningful breathing.
Breathing in through the nose and breathing out.
Breathing into the heart chakra.
Breathing out blockages.
Breathing in nourishment.
Breathing out what does not serve you.
Breathing in green energy.
Breathing out again.
Breathing in abundance of love.
Breathing out hate and anger.
Breathing in compassion.
Breathing out negativity.
Breathing in empathy.
And breathing out judgment and resentment.
Breathing in one more time.
And breathing out and letting go.
Continue to breathe comfortably and naturally,
Focusing in on your heart chakra.
Breathing and healing your heart chakra.
As you continue to focus into your heart chakra,
You become so close to it that you begin to witness a vision,
A visual that presents itself in the glowing green brightness.
And what you begin to see here is a face.
The face of someone that you love so dearly.
Someone that may be alive or not.
Someone that you may see often or not.
But nonetheless,
You love them greatly.
And you feel deep compassion and empathy for this person.
You watch them and you want all of the best for them.
You want them to be healthy and happy.
And for them,
You feel love in the purest form.
It is when you are around this person that your heart chakra opens up.
And it flows so easily.
Sit in this feeling for a while.
Sit with this person for a while.
And allow your heart chakra to heal.
If at any point these feelings become so strong that they feel painful and turn into unhealthy dependency or unhealthy attachment,
Allow yourself to step back just a little bit.
To loosen your grip just a little bit.
To bring yourself back to that soothing,
Comfortable place of pure love.
A place where we can coexist comfortably and happily.
To wish all the best for one another.
Without hurting ourselves or hurting them.
Just loving.
Just feeling that wonderful feeling.
When we can connect in such a special way with another person or another being.
Sit with this comforting and beautiful feeling for a while.
As you continue to focus inward to your heart chakra,
You see a new face begin to form.
This is the face of someone who you find yourself having a difficult relationship with.
Someone who you may have felt wronged by.
Someone you feel may have hurt you.
Someone you may feel frustrated around,
Angry at,
Or you even feel judgment toward.
It is common that when we experience someone like this,
We will begin to become defensive and feel feelings of hatred,
Anger,
Resentment,
And judgment.
And we do this because we think that it will protect ourselves,
Protect us from being hurt.
From being confused.
But we've learned to understand that these dark and negative feelings do not protect us.
And they do not help us.
And in fact,
Are known to poison ourselves by holding on to these dark feelings.
Feeling resentment,
Holding judgment,
Experiencing anger,
Is much like taking a rubber ball and throwing it against a brick wall.
Expecting the ball to damage the wall because we want to hurt the wall in the way that it hurt us.
But instead what happens is the ball bounces back and hits us right in the head.
Hurting ourselves instead.
The best way that you can heal yourself after being hurt by another person is to simply let go.
Let go of the hate.
Let go of the anger.
Let go of the resentment and judgment.
And if you must create space between you and that person or being,
You can.
But do it without the negative and dark feelings.
Let go.
Let go so that you may heal.
Let go to release the poison.
And if at any point you feel like you can even find the means to love this person anyway,
You will heal even further.
Maybe you can find empathy for this person.
Or even compassion.
Feel free to do this if and when you are ever ready.
You do not need to subject yourself to the actions of others if they are harmful.
And the best way to phrase this is to say that we can love from afar.
Distancing ourselves from unhealthy situations but always carrying love in our heart.
Experiencing a healthy and open heart chakra.
Allow yourself a moment to sit with this.
To move away from the hate,
Anger,
Judgment and resentment.
And allow yourself to refill your heart chakra with love,
Empathy and compassion.
Focusing again deeper into your heart chakra.
Now seeing a new face form.
And the face that you see now is you.
You see yourself as if looking into a mirror.
What do you feel when you see yourself?
What do you think?
What do you experience?
The relationship we have with ourself is one of the most important relationships we will ever have.
And because we spend so much time with ourself,
It becomes easy for us to experience discomfort and negative feelings toward ourself.
But it is so important that we practice and experience self-love.
If you have any thoughts or feelings toward yourself that are unserving,
Maybe it's something about how you look,
Something you once did,
Something you think,
Or anything that has happened in your life or activities of daily living,
Allow yourself to release these unserving thoughts.
Grow empathy and compassion for yourself.
Create understanding for yourself.
And allow yourself to love you just the way you are.
To love the way you look.
To love the way you think.
To love yourself the way that you act,
Even when it's imperfect.
Because you are perfect just the way you are,
Even if it may not look that way.
You are exactly who you were meant to be.
You are exactly where you were meant to be.
And your life is playing out exactly as it was meant to.
And if all of this is going to happen anyway,
Why not do it with love?
And why not do it with love for yourself?
Take this moment to create space in your heart chakra,
To grow an abundance of love,
Empathy and compassion for you.
Chakras are also associated with specific seed mantras.
Seed mantras are not words to be understood,
But rather sounds and vibrations to be experienced and felt.
The heart chakra,
Also referred to as Anahata,
Has its own seed mantra.
The seed mantra for the heart chakra is YAM.
Y-A-M YAM When this seed mantra is chanted,
It is the sound and vibration within this mantra that assists in the healing,
Clearing and cleansing of the heart chakra.
I invite you to take this moment to chant,
Feel,
Hear and experience the seed mantra YAM to clear and cleanse your own heart chakra.
And after this chanting,
Come in to a moment of silence where you can continue to focus inward to your green heart chakra and allow it to cleanse,
Align,
Open and heal.
You may chant out loud or silently in your mind,
Allowing the sound and vibration to bring you love,
Empathy and compassion.
I move away from the feeling of hate.
I cleanse myself of any anger.
And I hold no judgement toward myself or to others.
I experience empathy.
I express compassion.
And I am absolutely full of an abundance of love.
Know that your heart chakra is always glowing,
Growing and spinning.
And if at any time you feel yourself falling back into hate,
Anger or resentment,
That you can come back to your heart chakra healing practices.
To then again come back in to love,
Empathy and compassion.
Because you always have the ability to heal yourself and to heal your relationships.
Take a few more deep breaths to allow your heart chakra to open up just a little more.
Breathing in deeply.
And breathing out.
Breathing in once again.
And breathing out.
Breathe in one more time.
And breathe out.
Breathing comfortably and naturally.
I invite you once again to take both of your hands if you can and place them over your heart chakra,
The centre of your chest.
Put your hands here and focus again on what you feel.
And with great intention say to yourself and say to the universe,
I am empathy.
I am compassion.
And I am.
One more deep breath.
Allow yourself to bring your hands down again.
Bringing yourself back.
Starting to move your body just a little bit.
Wiggle those toes and fingers.
Sway,
Rock.
Conduct any movement that feels soft and right in this moment.
And whenever you are ready,
And only when you are ready,
Gently,
Softly and lovingly,
Open your eyes and look around you.
Look at the room.
Look at the world.
Look at the universe.
And see everything anew.
With fresh,
Bright,
Loving eyes.
Knowing that your heart chakra is open.
And that you are free to love.
Continue on with your heartfelt journey.
Be well,
Take care and love big.
Namaste.
