Research suggests that taking short naps during the day not only combats drowsiness and improves powers of concentration, but increases your capacity for patience, logical reasoning and optimum performance. This nap-inducer uses your breath, mindfulness and progressive relaxation to allow you to enter a light but restorative state of rest, where your mind can switch off for a few minutes and your body re-balance itself.
