This deeply relaxing meditation slows down the pressures of time and helps you to accept where you are at and 'what is' in the present moment. It softens the constant drive within to be constantly doing and achieving and eases you into a restful, peaceful state where just this moment, just this breath is enough as it is.

Transcript

Allow your eyes to comfortably close,

And gently come down into this moment here.

Let everything else begin to distance itself.

Breathe out the stuff of where you've been in your body and your mind.

Let it flow out and away on your breath.

Allow yourself to soften and come down into your body.

Let the support beneath you take your weight.

Sense the solid foundation of ground below you.

Connect with the steady stuff of earths.

And sit back onto the solid support of ground.

Ground is not going anywhere.

It's just here with you now.

In this present moment.

Soften into taking the support of ground.

Rest on ground.

And breathe out what you've brought with you here.

Let it flow out and away.

No need to move forward.

Let all of you sit back.

Give your mind permission not to have to go anywhere.

Give your body permission not to have to do anything.

Give yourself permission not to have to achieve or prove anything.

Let all of you know it's okay to rest in this moment here.

Allow every part of you,

Every level of your being to soften and sit back.

Supported by ground in this simple here and now.

In your own time.

Draw your energy back from where it lies scattered.

Draw it back to your centre,

The soft place between your belly and chest.

Draw it back in from in front of you.

Draw it back in from behind.

Draw it back in from one side.

Now the other.

Draw it back in from above you.

And from below you.

Breathe into your centre.

Feel your precious lifeblood energy flowing around you.

In your own time.

Notice the air touching the surface of your body.

Become aware of the space around you.

Notice there's an inside of you and there's the world outside.

Sense the envelope of your skin forms a healthy boundary between the two.

Become aware of the sounds around you.

Let them be there.

Notice the light and shade.

Let it be there.

Let everything sit back as you sit back.

Supported by ground.

Resting in the present moment.

And allow your breath to let go of the need to do.

One breath at a time is enough.

Just this much.

Let your breath soften into the energy of just this much being enough.

Allow your mind to let go of the need to do.

To rest in this moment is enough.

Just this much to rest here.

Let your mind soften into the energy of just this much being enough.

Allow your body to let go of the need to do.

One step at a time is enough.

Just this much.

One step at a time.

Let your body soften into the energy of just this much being enough.

Let everything sit back as you sit back.

Allow your body to let go of the need to do.

Allow yourself to let go of the need to do.

You are enough.

Exactly as you are right now.

Just this much.

Just as you are.

Let yourself soften into the energy of just this much being enough.

Just this much asks nothing from you.

Demands nothing of you.

It just is.

Complete.

Spacious.

More than enough.

Just this much in this moment being enough.

Flowing in and out on your breath.

Flowing in and out of your mind.

Flowing in and out of your body.

Flowing in and out of yourself.

Sit back into just this much being enough.

In this moment here.

Let it gently hold you a while.

And allow yourself just to be.

When you are ready.

Gently feel the steady ground beneath you.

Become aware of the air on the surface of your body.

Sense the space around you.

Notice how you are feeling.

Notice with respect and kindness.

And in your own time you can draw this meditation to a close.

This was very relaxing and grounding and I happen to like your voice very much. I must admit I struggled with feelings of anger toward the mean spirited comment about your voice. It’s like someone saying they don’t like my face as though there was something I could do about it. I feel the anger myself so I know it’s mine. I have all kinds of judgment about it. My work in the world is about taking a stand for inclusivity and honoring one’s self and others. I am aware that my sense of cowardly choices and injustice fuels me but how do I come from love instead of anger in a case like this? It kept coming up in my meditation.
