Welcome.
So today we're talking on the subject of discernment.
And when we're getting into the intuitive psychic realm,
That discernment is an ability to truly listen to your whole self.
So what is discernment?
Discernment is when your total awareness replies to your abundance of knowledge and focus.
So what does that really mean?
Let's break it down.
So your total awareness is like all of your body sensors,
Feeling,
Gut instinct,
Senses of smell,
Sight,
All of those six senses tuning in and then replying to your abundance of knowledge,
Which is to your mind.
So it's absorbing and sensing and that sensory being that you are absorbing all these sensory sensations and feelings and instincts and then processing it through your brain,
Saying,
I've got all this data.
Let me reply to you and say this.
This is what I feel.
And then your brain processes that data.
And together with the data that your brain collects of potential outcomes,
Potential disasters,
Then you can use that full awareness with your knowledge and then focus it into some sort of intention or action or response.
However,
Often we feel the feelings of fear and emotion and anger and doubt and worry and anxiety.
And then we listen to our mind and it just runs wild with those feelings.
So those are not necessarily the feelings that I'm talking about.
I'm talking about a deeper sense of just really being present with all of your senses in that moment and really feeling into what feels right and true without the mind interfering.
And then that awareness replies to the mind.
The mind is not part of this sensory feeling process.
It's a different level beyond the levels of emotions created by the mind.
It's a receptivity.
It's not a reaction to the mind.
So when you're feeling something,
You have to ask yourself,
Is this emotion a reaction to my thoughts?
Because if so,
Then you're letting the mind be in control.
And the mind will just come up with a million scenarios of what could go wrong because it's there to protect you.
It's part of your ego.
But when you allow yourself to be in a place of full receptivity with your full and total awareness,
And you can feel in your gut,
You can feel in your instinct,
Your intuition,
You can see more clearly what is right and true.
So to remember to know that you know not is to accept the gifts that are before you.
Think about that for a minute.
To know you know not is to accept the gifts that are before you.
Often 90% of,
I'm just throwing numbers out there,
Of what your brain thinks may happen usually does not come true.
Because generally it's fear-based or future-based and it's not present mind awareness based.
So when our mind is calculating and weighing and judging everything that's in front of us,
We're missing out on the gifts of everything that of what is right now.
We're missing out on seeing all the potential possibilities.
We're missing out on truly feeling and sensing what is real in that moment.
I mean,
How can you feel what's real in that moment if you don't stop and listen?
If you don't take time to discern what is really real beyond what your mind believes,
Beyond all the data you've collected about life and your mind is now weighing.
Every moment is different.
It's never the same.
No outcome will ever be the same.
Unless maybe you're baking,
But that's measured out.
So something to consider.
Take time to discern with your total awareness and then reply to your mind and use that database to then focus that all into an action or an intention or a response.
This is where we get into truly listening.
This is where we move beyond the mental,
Emotional,
Physical bodies.
And we have a clear mind,
Clear emotions and therefore clear body.
It's like having an empty vessel.
In that empty vessel,
You can receive many things.
You're in a place of receptivity.
Then you can begin to listen to your intuition.
You can begin to listen to the silence,
To the voice of the great consciousness,
Collective that we all are,
The voice of God or God us,
Whatever you relate to.
So the next step of that is when you really start to become intuitive,
It can be tricky because it's hard to discern.
Is this my own thought and belief or is this something divinely guided or inspired beyond my own projections and preferences?
And so it's important again to do some writing exercises before you try to tune into something about something you're wanting to meditate on and get some clarity with.
To take the time to write down what your beliefs are,
What your anger,
Fear and doubt are around it and move all of that mind stuff out of the way.
Remove the data and the self out of the way and just get into a place of receiving beyond your own wisdom,
Beyond your own mind,
Beyond your own human brain.
You can find that quiet still space,
The introspective.
Then you connect with the now.
Then you can connect with something beyond your individual self,
Your human self.
Then you can connect with your heart and patiently wait for the words and inspirations to flow.
And oftentimes it's helpful to write down or record what you're hearing so that you don't have time to judge it.
You can just write it down and just let it flow out like a stream of consciousness.
And the more you write,
The easier it will flow.
Just opening to an effortless stream of consciousness beyond your own mind.
So if you haven't already,
Take the time to do the exercises in the Zero to Oneness Workbook under listening and intuition and clear your mind as best you can before the meditation.
Many blessings to all of you and may you have a life filled with oneness today.
