Just allowing your eyes to close and allow yourself to be here in this present moment.

Let your body just be.

Feel energy draining out of your physical body as you encourage it to relax slowly.

There's nothing for you to do right now.

Nobody wants anything.

Nobody needs anything.

This is your time to embrace relaxation.

Because our bodies naturally want to be calm.

They want to feel soothed and nurtured.

They want to relax.

We all have moments where we think too much or we overanalyze.

Where that busy chatter is constantly going on in the background.

But all that does is bring tension and anxiety to our body and our mind and our spirit.

It doesn't create the space for relaxation or flow.

We need to learn to let go of the need to control.

We need to learn to be in the present moment.

To enjoy right now.

And to not try to control future outcomes.

Often anxiety is caused because we can tend to overanalyze.

We break everything down.

We worry about yesterday.

We worry about today.

About next week and tomorrow.

Yet we have no control.

Control is an illusion.

We do this out of habit.

Because in the past situations and outcomes might not have happened the way we wanted them to.

Or expected that they would.

And this makes us need to control our environment even more.

And then that creates a level of worry.

That's placed right on top of everything else.

But we can change how we think and feel.

We can create new beliefs.

We can learn to go within.

To deal with our innermost feelings.

And we can calm our mind with breathing.

We really can call that much needed relaxation into our energy.

And our environment.

I'm going to count you down in a moment.

And with each number that I say.

I want you to fully inhale.

And feel that breath.

Not just in your chest but your belly and your diaphragm.

With each breath.

You will feel more and more relaxed.

Taking you deeper down.

Deeper and deeper.

Into a state of peace.

And tranquility.

So follow along with me now.

Five.

Take a full deep breath in.

And as you exhale.

Feel the tension loosen in your body.

Four.

Another deep breath in.

And as you exhale.

Feel even more relaxed.

The tension to flow right out.

Three.

Deep,

Deep breath.

Your mind becoming calmer.

Thoughts backing off.

Just going deeper.

And deeper.

Two.

Inhale deeply.

And when you exhale.

Observe how the need to control any aspects within your life.

Has subsided.

You're just feeling heavy.

And lazy now.

One.

The last deep breath of this exercise.

Exhaling slowly.

Aware that tension in the body is gone.

And being overlaid with a feeling of calm and peace.

Knowing that you could move but there's just no need right now.

Just drifting and floating.

And as you drift and float.

You will still hear each word I say.

And you will be able to take all of the information on board.

And upload it as a new belief.

If it is in line with your highest and greatest good.

And you can simply bypass anything that is not for you.

That does not resonate with you.

You may silently affirm to yourself now.

I have survived issues before.

And I will survive them now.

I am strong and I persevere through anything.

I know that I am not my anxiety.

Anxiety is external to me.

I can take things one step at a time.

I live only in this present moment.

I approach each situation in my life with openness and curiosity.

I'm in charge of my breathing.

And I can slow it down when I need to.

I enjoy my feelings of inner calm.

I actively take steps to reduce my anxiety.

And to not put myself in situations that may spark or increase anxiety.

I am skilled.

I am talented.

And I have so much to offer.

I cultivate the patience to overcome anxiety.

I'm courageous and I can make it through anything and everything that occurs in my life.

I use my unique strengths to move beyond these feelings of anxiousness.

Anxiety anxiety can only live within me if I allow it to and entertain it.

I know what I value and I place my energy on those values.

The universe is there to support me.

Encouraging me to be the best version of myself possible.

I am comfortable and connected with my environment.

I can find all kind of pleasures in my life right now.

I will only allow for healthy decisions to be present.

I am strong independent person.

I am important.

I matter therefore I am worthy.

I can do anything that I set my heart and mind to.

I love who I am.

I succeed in what I do.

I keep my thoughts positive and healthy.

I know that it's okay to feel the emotions I feel.

I am learning to process in a healthy way.

I take time out for self-love.

I take time out to nurture myself.

This helps me to be free of anxiety.

All is well in my world.

I am safe.

I am strong.

I matter.

The more you trust in and of yourself the more that you're able to put yourself in front of powerful positive affirmations.

The more that your energy will take these on board as new beliefs.

Each and every day we need to choose happiness.

It's an active decision.

Happiness is a vibration that we choose to live in.

Choose life.

Choose laughter.

Choose love.

Let your cup be overflowing with joy and all of the goodness that life has to offer.

And day by day,

Moment by moment,

Anxiety will melt away.

And it might start feeling as though it's a bit like fake it till you make it.

And that's okay if that's how you need to start.

Honor and witness your feelings.

Live in the now.

But above all else trust that you are enough.

And you can allow these wonderful positive affirmations to bubble up to the surface whenever you need them.

Know that you are exceptional.

And in a moment I'm going to count from one to five.

And at five you'll be wide,

Wide awake,

Refreshed,

Alert,

Completely back in the room,

Feeling incredible.

One,

Just giving those toes a bit of a wriggle now,

That's right.

Two,

Being able to bend the knees and move the legs.

Three,

Giving the fingers a bit of a wriggle.

Four,

Feeling a big stretch coming on with the arms.

Five,

Eyes wide open,

Wide,

Wide awake,

Refreshed,

Alert and completely back in the room.
