A guided energy, breathing and visual journey through the understnding and acceptance of your emotions. This is a gentle practice that will provide you with the tools to navigate a situation where you are feeling heavily emotional: ie. sad, angry or stressed.

Welcome.

I'm Liana Allison,

Empathic Leadership Coach here at the Institute of Empathic Leadership.

I invite you today to participate in this meditation to find a way to make all of your emotions a positive,

Useful way of developing yourself,

Developing your life and developing your business.

So to start,

Let's just sit quietly,

Close your eyes,

Taking a nice deep breath in in and out and another in and out and one more in and out.

And just being really present now in this space that you're honouring yourself,

Honouring yourself enough to give you the time to be really present to what it is that you are,

That you feel,

So that you can be really conscious to learn more about who you truly are.

For this is the pathway to true inner happiness.

And as we continue to breathe,

We feel our body relaxing.

We feel our shoulders just going soft,

Our neck releasing.

And we feel this relaxation energy just flowing down through our body as we breathe.

We visualise it as energy coming down through the top of our head,

Through our body into every single cell.

Every organ.

And as we breathe,

It continues down through our body and out through our feet.

And this connects us with the earth,

The nurturing,

Grounded Mother Earth.

And it feels safe.

And each breath just brings us closer and closer to our inner inner inner body.

And each breath just brings us closer and closest to that nurturing,

Safe feeling.

And in our visualisation,

As we feel safe and grounded,

We may find ourselves in a beautiful scene.

It could be a beautiful field with grass blowing in the wind,

Maybe a river flowing gently through,

Flowers and trees.

And as you look around,

You notice nature in its full glory.

All the animals,

The butterflies,

The dragonflies,

The birds,

Just all going about their daily life.

And we just sit most comfortable spot and allow ourselves to just be present and relax.

And in this space,

We feel so safe.

We're able to just access our emotions.

The emotions that we've pushed aside in our busy daily life,

Thinking we'll deal with that later.

That's too much for now.

I can't actually dedicate the time or focus to that.

I don't want to feel that.

So now just allowing those emotions to flow freely.

And as we feel them,

It could be anxiety,

It could be just stress,

It could be anger,

Frustration,

It could be sadness.

All of these emotions are a normal part of who we are.

And we want to access them so that we can use the energy,

Unlock the energy that has been blocked in our rejection of these emotions,

Unlock the emotions,

Unlock it so we can use that energy to really make our life grow and change in the way that we want it.

So just sitting with those emotions now.

So and as you feel them inside of yourself,

You notice where they're at.

You notice where they sit in your body.

And as you notice this,

You ask yourself with curiosity,

Like a childlike curiosity,

What can I actually learn from this emotion?

I turn to face it and really acknowledge it's part of me.

I learn in this moment as much as I can about this emotion.

What is this about?

What is this about?

What is this about?

What is this about?

I acknowledge it's part of me.

I learn in this moment as much as I can about this emotion.

What is this about for me?

What is it trying to show me about myself?

Is there a message of wisdom?

Is there a message of change?

Is there a message of clarity and understanding?

And as you breathe,

You just allow this time and space to allow those messages to come through.

So just continue breathing.

So really noticing any sensations,

Any pictures,

Any words,

Any sensory awareness that might be coming through.

And once you finish this meditation,

You can really write that down and spend some time with it.

And as you continue to breathe,

If nothing comes in this moment,

That's okay.

It might be in a dream.

It might be a sudden aha moment tomorrow or next week.

That's okay.

Remember,

This is curiosity.

This is exploration.

And if you get some awareness,

You can ask,

What is it that I need to do to make a change right now?

What is the immediate action I can take to really empower myself in my emotions?

How can I use them constructively?

So now you're looking for something to move forward with.

Some action that is productive and heading in the direction that your values and boundaries are guiding you towards.

And you continue to breathe.

And as you continue to breathe,

You can really feel the change.

You and observe.

And now as you see this field around you,

You see the sun,

You feel the wind,

You hear the water,

You feel the earth beneath you.

And you feel at home,

At home in yourself.

You feel secure in your body and in your mind and in your emotions.

You allow yourself to soak up this feeling.

And as you take a deep breath in,

We say goodbye now to this field and we come back into our present moment,

Into our present body.

And we wriggle our toes and our fingers and have a stretch.

And when we're ready,

We open our eyes and immediately write down any awarenesses,

Anything that feels important,

You write it down straight away so that you can come back to it and learn more about it in the conscious mind.

Well done.

You will become far more self-aware and understanding of your emotional self.

I had an incredible experience with this meditation. I visualized my son & I standing together. Surrounded in LOVE we acknowledged the instant I regret. He kissed my forehead as he gently smiled, yes that happened and I forgive you...we each said to each other. Then like watching a movie, each instance that haunted me gently, quickly played out, with the same; "yes, that happened and I forgive you". The scenes didn't all include me. They all included my son, with the same LOVE. In the end he said; "I've always been here Mom, now you are. You're here♡". My son passed away 2 years ago on Dec. 27. He is with me in every moment now. ♡ Thank you so much for this particular meditation.
