Welcome to Portal to Wisdom.

I'm Leslie,

And today we're going to explore one of the most profound truths about pausing.

It opens a doorway to realms of knowing that are always available to us,

But rarely assessed in our rushed world.

If you've ever had the experience of suddenly knowing exactly what to do in a moment of stillness,

Or receiving an insight that seemed to come from beyond your ordinary thinking mind,

Then you've already touched this portal.

Today we're going to learn how to open it intentionally.

Find your most comfortable position and allow yourself to settle deeply.

This is sacred time.

You're stepping away from the visible world of doing and into the invisible realm of being and knowing.

Let's begin this journey together.

There's something I want you to know.

Strength doesn't just come from your body or even your mind.

True strength comes from the invisible place within.

Not within your body,

But within your spirit.

The quiet place that knows what you're truly capable of when you choose the faith to trust the unseen.

Let's practice assessing this place together.

I want you to gently close your eyes.

Not squeezed eyelids hoping for rescue or a quick escape.

Not bracing for impact,

But a soft,

Slow closing of the lids to quiet the mind,

Slow the thoughts,

And make space for higher realms of wisdom to intervene.

Feel the difference in this gentle closing.

There's no force,

No desperation,

Just a soft invitation inward.

Here's what I've discovered.

The pause opens a portal,

A passageway for greater wisdom,

Higher thought,

And divine intervention to come your way.

When you're constantly moving,

Constantly thinking,

Constantly doing,

You're operating in the frequency of the everyday mind.

But when you pause with intention,

When you become still with purpose,

You create space for a different kind of knowing to emerge.

Let's breathe into this space together.

With each breath,

Imagine you're creating more room for wisdom to enter.

Breathe in spaciousness.

Breathe out mental chatter.

Breathe in receptivity.

Breathe out the need to figure everything out.

Breathe in trust.

Breathe out control.

Feel the peace that comes when you close your eyes and shut out the chaos.

You're not escaping,

You're returning.

Returning to the quiet place that has always been there,

Waiting for you to remember it exists.

In this darkness,

Behind your eyelids,

There's actually profound light.

The light of your knowing.

The light of wisdom that doesn't need external validation.

Have you ever noticed how your brightest ideas come when your mind is in a relaxed state?

Those moments shortly after you awaken,

Before your mind has time to restart your wakeful thought process.

Your problems,

Worries,

And fears haven't been reloaded yet,

So your mind is free to play.

Let's create this awakening state together now.

We're going to practice being awake,

But not worried.

Alert,

But not anxious.

Open,

But not overwhelmed.

Imagine your mind like still water.

Any ripples of thought that arise,

Just let them settle naturally.

You're not fighting thoughts,

But you're not feeding them with your attention either.

In this open,

Receptive state,

Simply welcome whatever wants to emerge.

You're not expecting anything specific.

Just make yourself available to wisdom in whatever form it wants to take.

Maybe it's knowing what step to take next.

Maybe it's a sense of peace about a situation you've been worried about.

Maybe it's the deep recognition that you are held and supported by something larger than your individual efforts.

Now,

Let's practice strengthening your blessing antenna.

Gratitude is like a blessing antenna.

The stronger your antenna,

The better you'll be at receiving the blessing signal.

Being thankful keeps you open and receptive to good things,

So let's practice gratitude to keep your blessing antenna and reception strong.

Bring to mind something you are genuinely grateful for.

Feel that warmth in your chest as you think of it.

This feeling tunes your antenna to receive more good.

Now,

Think of another thing you appreciate.

Feel how gratitude opens your heart and makes you more receptive.

Now,

Notice how this practice of appreciation actually changes your inner atmosphere,

Making you more available to wisdom and insight.

Let's move through a sacred three-step process for assessing this portal.

Step 1.

Stop and be still.

Feel yourself becoming completely still.

This stillness tells your brain there's no cause for alarm.

It puts water on the smoldering embers of emotion before they ignite into flames.

You're creating the conditions for the portal to open.

Step 2.

Welcome wisdom and say thank you.

In this stillness,

Open your mind to receive.

You're not demanding or forcing anything.

You're simply becoming available.

And if any knowing arises,

Greet it with gratitude.

Say silently in your mind,

Thank you for whatever wisdom emerges.

Step 3.

Trust what comes.

When you do receive insight,

It may be subtle,

Like a gentle knowing or a shift in how something feels.

Trust it.

Your intuitive wisdom often speaks more quietly than your analytical mind,

But it's no less valid.

Let's spend several moments practicing opening this portal together.

Simply rest in the state of open receptivity.

You don't need to do anything or make anything happen.

Just be available.

As insights or knowings arise,

Receive them with gratitude.

Even if nothing dramatic happens,

Appreciate this time of communion with your deeper wisdom.

Sometimes the portal opening is subtle,

A sense of peace,

A feeling of being guided,

A trust that you know what you need to know when you need to know it.

One word of gentle caution.

Be mindful where your mind goes in these quiet states.

If you find yourself drifting towards fears or worst-case scenarios,

Gently redirect.

This precious time of openness is meant for receiving wisdom,

Not reinforcing worries.

If you notice your mind going toward fear,

Simply say,

Thank you,

Mind,

For trying to protect me.

Right now,

I'm choosing to be open to wisdom and peace.

The more you practice opening this portal,

The stronger your connection becomes.

This isn't about having dramatic mystical experiences,

Though they may come.

You're developing trust in your ability to receive guidance,

To assess peace,

To know what you need to know.

As you prepare to return to your day,

Know that you carry this portal with you.

Any time you pause with intention,

Any time you close your eyes softly and breathe into stillness,

You can access this deeper knowing.

True strength comes from the invisible place within your spirit.

You've just spent time cultivating your connection to that place.

You've practiced trusting the unseen.

You've opened the portal to wisdom.

Take one more moment to feel gratitude for this sacred time,

For your willingness to trust what cannot be seen,

For your courage to pause in a world that rewards rushing.

The portal is always available.

The wisdom is always there.

The peace that passes understanding is your birthright.

When you're ready,

Slowly wiggle your fingers and toes.

Take a deep breath.

Gently open your eyes.

Thank you for joining me on this sacred journey into the portal of wisdom.

Until next time,

Stay present,

Be peaceful,

Live prosperous.
