Welcome to this audio meditation,
Growing in Self-Confidence.
For many of us,
Feeling confident about ourselves,
Accepting ourselves,
Let alone loving ourselves is not an easy task.
More often than not,
It is a lifelong practice that requires daily attention.
Especially when some of us are so wired and conditioned to be careful,
Cautious or self-critical.
Or when you've learned it's safer to make yourself small instead of claiming the rightful space that you deserve.
The intention of this meditation is to help you grow in confidence.
To help you grow your self-esteem and self-worth.
Let's take a moment to settle in.
Make sure you have what you need to feel comfortable during this meditation.
Tune in with your body and let it tell you what it needs.
Perhaps you feel like sitting in a chair or rather on a pillow on the ground.
Or maybe you want to lay down and fully allow yourself to rest all your muscles.
Take some time to feel what your body needs and adjust accordingly.
Continue the process of settling in by connecting to your breath.
Gently shift your awareness to the air you breathe,
Entering and exiting your body.
As you breathe,
Take the time to simply rest.
Feel your presence in your body,
Your sanctuary,
Your home.
Allow yourself to arrive,
Resting in kind and loving awareness.
This meditation contains many positive affirmations.
You might not always feel them right away,
They might not always resonate.
You might even feel the exact opposite,
Especially when you don't feel good about yourself or when you are experiencing a lot of self-critical thoughts.
It is perfectly fine,
Don't worry.
Allow your thoughts and feelings to come and go and trust that the words in this meditation will do its work regardless.
They will be absorbed effortlessly by all the cells in your marvelous body.
Trust that the universe will heal you.
Allow yourself to receive.
Sense the slight shift you just made.
Feel the openness you created.
This is the unfolding of change.
You are growing,
Growing in self-confidence.
Take a couple of easy nourishing breaths while you connect to your heart.
Attend to it.
Listen to it.
When it feels right,
Ask your heart,
How do you want me to be with you?
What would you most need right now?
Allow whatever comes up to come up.
Care for yourself by listening without judgment.
No need to understand,
Explain or justify.
Trust your inner wisdom.
Trust the healing power of your heart.
Your heart gives you life with every pulsation,
With every beat.
It knows what's best for you.
It knows what you need.
Offer some message of acknowledgement and care for your heart.
I am here for you.
I hear you.
Thank you for telling me what you need.
Thank you for protecting me.
I am grateful for your presence.
I love you.
As the breath flows and your heart beats,
Embrace yourself with loving energy.
Say yes to every part of yourself that needs love.
Include every part of your being that feels left out.
Offer it care as you would to a dear friend or loved one.
I see you.
I am here for you.
Give yourself permission to receive the following affirmations without question or judgment.
Just receiving.
Accepting.
I am capable and strong.
I believe in my skills and talents.
I am worthy of respect and acceptance.
My opinion matters.
My feelings matter.
I matter.
I trust my intuition.
I am intelligent.
I am beautiful.
I am worthy.
I am deserving of abundance.
I am deserving of love.
I embrace myself.
I love myself.
I am enough.
I am confident in my uniqueness.
My potential is limitless.
If you feel like it,
You can bring your hands to your heart.
Feel everything that pulsates,
All the sensations,
The heart beating,
Blood flowing,
Chest expanding.
Admire its beauty and wisdom.
Feel its sense of presence,
Always nourishing you,
Empowering you,
Loving you,
With every beat,
Reminding you,
You are enough.
When you are ready,
Slowly transition out of meditation into a more habitual,
More active state of consciousness.
Take a few more calm breaths and let your body move a little.
Maybe open and close your eyes a few times.
Wiggle your fingers and toes a little.
You may feel the need to move,
Stretch,
Yawn,
Or smile.
Do whatever feels good.
If you want,
You can take a moment to thank yourself for showing up for yourself,
For attending to your heart,
And allowing yourself to grow in self-confidence.
When you are ready,
Gently come out of this meditation while you remember your presence and confidence within.
