Hello beautiful souls.
So this month we've really been focusing in on calmness and releasing stress in order to invite in a sense of calm and peace.
And so this meditation is designed to do just that,
Releasing stress,
Releasing anxiety,
And inviting in a sense of calm,
Peace,
And stillness.
And so through this meditation,
I really want you to notice and visualize what calmness and peace and stillness looks like and feels like for you.
Wherever you are,
I invite you to find a really comfortable position.
Whatever position feels most comfortable for you.
This will be about a six-ish,
Ten-minute-ish meditation.
So please make sure you are comfortable.
And as you make your way into that position,
I invite you to close your eyes if that feels safe for you.
Or maybe keeping a low gaze,
Staring down at the tip of your nose.
And so with your eyes closed or with a low gaze,
Take a moment to feel yourself in your body.
Beginning to notice any sensations or feelings that may be coming up for you in this moment.
And knowing throughout our practice,
I'll invite you to notice several things.
And all I ask you to do is to notice without judgment.
Notice without trying to overthink or explain things away.
But simply allow the thoughts,
Feelings,
And sensations to come and then go.
And as you continue to notice your body,
I invite you to begin to notice your breath.
Noticing your inhales and your exhales.
Noticing how the breath flows in and out without the need to constrict or control.
Throughout our practice,
Know that your breath is your anchor.
It's designed to ground you into this moment.
It's designed to remind you that you are full of life and that this is the only moment that matters.
As you continue to notice your body and tune into your breath,
I invite you to really lean into the affirmation,
I am calm.
Stress and anxiety roll away.
I am worry-free.
When I tune into my body and breath,
I am inviting in a sense of peace.
I am calm.
Breathe that in.
Exhale anything that comes against that truth.
And continue to allow your breath to guide you in this practice.
As you continue to lean into the affirmation,
I am calm,
I invite you to visualize and really picture what peace and calm looks like for you.
Really taking a moment to visualize what it is that brings you a sense of peace.
What is it that brings you a sense of calm?
And allow your mind to visualize that thing.
As you continue to visualize,
Continue to be in tune with your breath,
Inhaling fully and exhaling fully.
Noticing what's coming up for you without judgment,
Allowing yourself to fully be in this moment,
Fully visualizing what peace looks like for you.
And as you're visualizing these things,
If you're finding it hard to visualize what it looks like,
Maybe think about the place that feels the most calm for you.
Maybe think about the environment that allows you to be in this place of peace.
Maybe it's the beach next to the ocean.
Maybe it's in the forest being with the trees.
Maybe it's at home with your loved ones or with self.
And just continue to visualize this place of peace.
Continue to visualize this place of calm.
Continuing to notice the breath,
Continuing to be in this place of peace.
And now that you visualize this place that invites in this sense of calm and peace,
I really want you to lean into the feeling that's coming up for you.
What does it feel like to be in a space of calm?
What does it feel like to be in this space of peace?
And as you begin to really feel into the vibration of peace,
The vibration of calm,
Maybe you notice where you feel that in your body.
Do you notice a sensation in your core,
Your gut?
Do you notice anything within the heart space or maybe the throat?
Do you feel anything through the brow center or through the crown or maybe through the soles of your feet or your fingertips?
Maybe you notice nothing at all and that's okay too.
Just continue to be fully immersed in this idea and this feeling of peace.
Be fully immersed in this sensation of calm as you continue to invite in and call in this feeling of peace and this knowing of calm.
I am calm.
I am peace.
I am water.
Breathe that in.
Exhale anything that comes against these truths.
And as you continue to lean into this idea of peace and calm,
Maybe you slowly and gently bring a hand over your heart center and the other hand over your core,
Taking one more moment to affirm,
I am calm.
Take a deep breath in through the nose.
Pause with the breath at the top.
Sip in just a little bit more air.
Open mouth,
Sigh it out.
And maybe bring it out through the nose.
Take a deep breath in through the nose.
Open mouth,
Sigh it out.
And maybe bringing your hands into heart center and slowly blinking your eyes opened if they were closed.
Taking one more moment to affirm,
I am worthy of calm.
I am worthy of peace.
I am fully present in this moment.
So take in the sense of calm and peace whenever you need it.
And always remember you are worthy of the time it takes to nourish your mind,
Body,
And soul.
Ashe.
