Letting go meditation with Lila Becker,
Let's begin.
Lie down on the floor,
On your back,
Arms and legs spread out like starfish.
This allows your shoulders and your hips to relax.
Close your eyes and allow your soft eyes to sit in their sockets.
As you gently breathe,
No forced actions.
Just notice where your breath is now.
Acknowledging the rise and fall of the chest.
Feeling the breath on an inhale go from the tip of your nose to the center of your eyebrows.
And on an exhale from the center of your eyebrows back down to the tip of your nose.
Being aware of the coolness of the breath as you inhale and the warmth of the breath as you exhale.
On your next inhale expand your lungs as wide and as big as you can.
Filling your entire body with prana.
And as you exhale allow your body to let go.
Dropping like a stone past the floor.
Down,
Down,
Down.
Allow the crown of your head to be soft.
And all the space from your temples and across your forehead relax.
From the tip of your earlobes to the tip of your nose let go.
Relax your jaw.
And soften the tip of your chin.
Allow your tongue to be soft.
And the back of your throat soft.
Relax your neck and allow the back of your neck to splay out along the floor.
Allow your entire skull to relax.
Relax your shoulders and the front of your chest.
Allow the floor to take the weight of your fingers,
Wrists and elbows.
Soften your belly.
Complete softness here in the core.
Allowing that softness to seep through that core releasing the lower back.
Allowing the entire spine to rest along the floor becoming soft like jelly.
Allowing all your internal organs to relax.
Allow your hips to relax.
Allow yourself to let go of your pelvis as you relax.
Let go from the hips to the knees and the knees to the ankles and the ankles to the toes.
And soften the bottoms of the feet.
Allow warm relaxing energy to flow over and through you.
Releasing anything else that is still holding on.
And as you let go,
Drift away to that beautiful place between reality and bliss.
