Find yourself in a comfortable seat.
If possible,
Have your feet folded in front of you either in lotus position or in easy pose where your ankles are just right in front of your groins.
Have a cushion underneath your sit bones so that your hips are higher than your knees.
Align your spine with the crown of your head,
Creating a pyramid,
A sacred geometry that we can use our body to create this harmonious frequency.
Your chin is slightly tucked under as the crown of your head lifts to the sky,
Your spine stacking the vertebrae one on top of the other,
Starting to become aware of your breath.
Your fingers can be on your thighs,
Palms facing down today with your index and thumb finger touching,
Creating a loop,
Adjust your seat so you feel comfortable.
Coming into the awareness of your breath,
Close your eyes as we journey within.
Notice how your breath is starting to slow down as we enter into this dark space within.
Come for a walk with me.
In your mind's eye,
See yourself sitting there in your lotus or sukhasana,
Easy pose,
With your spine nice and straight.
See yourself in your room.
Now see yourself in your mind's eye,
Getting up from where you're seated,
Walking out the door,
Out into nature.
As you open your door,
You see whatever's outside greeting you.
Notice the sun,
Notice the sounds,
Maybe a wind rustling in the trees,
Maybe the birds singing.
Take a walk,
Notice that you're barefoot and feel every time you touch the earth,
Touch the soil,
Just notice what that feels like.
You're walking down a path from the bright sunshine now,
You're entering into this forested area where the light is dim.
You see the sunlight dabbling on the leaves of the trees,
On the forest floor.
You're continually walking on this path,
Deeper and deeper into the dark.
You feel safe,
You feel protected,
You feel at home.
Hear the sounds your feet make as you walk,
Maybe on dried branches or twigs or leaves.
You walk deeper in,
You start to notice the scent in the air.
The smoky smell.
Then you see in front of you this red tent.
It's a round tent.
Imagine it in your mind's eye as you walk up to it.
Stop right in front of the entrance of the tent.
Just take a breath here.
And then now walk into the tent.
It's dark.
You see flickering candle lights.
You see a small fire in the middle of the tent.
Small enough to provide some heat.
But it's still really dim in there.
You immediately feel a sense of reverence.
The tent is expertly engineered and the smoke is leaving the top where it's exposed to the air.
In the middle,
There is an altar space,
Sacred space where you see flowers,
Sacred objects that countless women before you have placed there.
Go ahead and place your imaginary sacred object onto that altar.
Something that symbolizes for you your womanhood,
The sacred feminine within you,
The divine goddess that you are.
Whether it be any object of nature or something you made,
That you created or even something from your childhood.
Whatever it may be,
Just set it down reverently now,
Bowing to this sacred altar space that have been co-created throughout time with women of all generations,
Past and present and future.
And in the dark,
You start to realize that you actually are able to walk with confidence,
Feeling the energies of people around you,
Other women,
And yet finding very confidently a nice unobstructed path to your seat that's empty and waiting for you.
Go ahead and sit down here.
Rearrange yourself into a nice seated,
Grounded position with your mudra,
With your hands,
Your thumb and your index finger forming a ring,
Your three other fingers just pointing downwards,
Your palms facing downwards on your thighs.
We call upon our female ancestors who have come before us,
Who have paved the way for the power that we hold within our wombs today.
We ask for any loving ancestors to guide us as we enter into our womb space together in this circle.
We ask for the divine universal mothers to be present in this sacred space now,
Guiding us with your unconditional love,
Showing us the way even as we sit and be open to receive.
We ask for the plant spirits of Palo Santo and Sandalwood to be present.
We greet you,
All loving beings who have sacrificed yourself in death for us to experience your exquisite essence,
Open up ourselves to receive.
We ask that healing take place where it's most needed for the benefit of all beings.
We sit now with no expectations,
No agenda in this dark space of limitless possibilities.
Bring your hands now to your womb space,
Your right hand on the bottom,
Your left hand on top,
Just under your navel.
And in this dark space,
Receive my offering to you now with these sound bulbs.
Notice that the frequencies of the sound indicate the aliveness of the dark womb space that we are in.
See we can all collectively just say silently within ourselves,
I am listening.
We can all collectively just say silently within ourselves,
I am listening.
