Hello,

Hello,

Beautiful soul,

And welcome to this meditation for utilizing your breath as an anchor.

Begin by finding a comfortable position,

Either seated or lying down,

Whatever allows your body to feel the most support.

And when you're ready,

Gently close your eyes and take a slow breath in through your nose and exhale softly through your mouth.

Again,

Inhale,

Allowing the breath to fill your chest,

Your belly,

And exhale,

Feeling the body soften.

There's nothing you need to change right now,

Nothing you need to fix,

Simply awareness as you notice the rhythm of your breath,

The natural rise and fall,

The quiet movement that's always been there for you.

And as you inhale,

Imagine you are receiving,

Receiving calm,

Receiving steadiness,

Receiving exactly what you need in this moment.

And as you exhale,

Imagine you are releasing,

Letting go of tension,

Releasing effort,

Letting go of anything that you've been holding on to,

Inhale,

Receiving,

Exhale,

Releasing.

And if your mind begins to wander,

And it might,

That's okay,

There's no need to judge or correct it.

Simply notice and gently guide your attention back to the breath,

Back to the steady rhythm of the inhale and the exhale.

Let your shoulders soften,

Let your jaw relax,

Let your belly rise and fall naturally.

And with each breath,

Your nervous system begins to settle,

Your body remembers how to feel safe,

How to rest,

And stay here for a few more breaths,

Allowing the breath to anchor you in this moment,

The present moment,

The only moment where life truly exists.

And when you're ready,

Gently bring awareness back to your physical body.

Notice the surface beneath you,

The space around you,

And carry this calm with you as you move through your day.

Your breath is always here,

A steady anchor that you can return to at any time.

Namaste.
