Today I'll be guiding you through a meditation to connect with your breath and your body.

To begin,

Start to make your way into a comfortable seated position in a space that you feel called to.

Gently close your eyes and notice the connection of your sit bones rooted down into your seat that supports you and start to lift the crown of your head upwards to create a nice long spine.

Take a nice deep breath in,

Feeling your chest expand and open,

And take a nice deep exhale out,

Allowing the body to soften.

Concentrate on the sound of your inhale as you take a deep breath in and release any tension as you take a nice deep exhale out.

Allow the breath to come back into its natural state of rhythm,

Allowing the breath to be smooth and effortless.

Start to observe the natural inflows and outflows of your breath throughout your body.

Notice the gentle lifts and lowers through your chest and belly and feel the flow of air moving into your lungs and then back out into the world.

Shift your attention now to how your physical body and mind feels and really observe and focus on what you are feeling and experiencing in this present moment.

Notice if you feel maybe tense or relaxed and where that sensation is coming from,

Whether it's in your physical body or your mind or both,

And observe this feeling from a distance without attachment.

Allow yourself to feel the way you are feeling without any resistance.

Start to take control of your breath and use this as a gateway for releasing negative thoughts that no longer serve you while welcoming positive light and sensations throughout the body.

With each inhale,

Welcoming and enhancing those positive thoughts,

And with each exhale,

Pressing away the negativity,

Allowing it to escape your body through your breath.

And if your mind does begin to wander,

Focus on bringing your attention back to your breath,

Noticing how your thoughts come and go,

Rather positive or negative,

And simply allow them to pass on by like clouds floating through the sky.

Place both hands over your heart and notice the breath flow in and out through your chest area.

Using the physical space and the physical connection of your hands to your chest as a way to connect directly with your breath.

Release your hands back down by your sides.

Allow your mind to empty and relieve it from what no longer serves you.

Let it go and let it float away.

And allow your body to release what no longer serves you,

Letting it go and letting it flow away.

Allow yourself to ground here in this moment,

Becoming aware of your space,

Any sounds,

Touches,

Temperatures,

Smells,

And allow your roots to ground down below deep into the earth.

Take your hands and start to rub them together,

Creating heat and now cover your eyes,

Noticing the heat between the space of your eyes and your hands.

Bring the hands through your heart center.

Open your eyes when you're ready.

And I hope you enjoy the rest of the day wherever you are at in this moment.

Thank you.
