Welcome and thank you for joining me.
I'm Leah the Nifty Yogi and we're going to be finding our inner calm within the chaos.
So I encourage you now to find yourself in either a seated or lying position,
Whatever serves you best today.
Once you're there close the eyes,
Settled in,
Take a couple long breaths in through the nose,
Maybe side out.
Doing that a few times,
Relaxing the shoulders away from the ears,
Letting the belly surrender and relax.
And as you remain here,
The eyes are closed and you know where you are,
What position your legs are in,
Your back,
Your arms,
Your neck.
Notice any tension in the jaw,
Relax the lips apart and the eyebrows to soften.
We're going to be visualising ourself drifting into a beautiful calm place.
So wherever you are right now,
Notice you're in this room or space,
Your eyes are closed but your third eye is open and this means that you can see and visualise with your mind's eye rather than your true eyes.
Notice your position once again,
Visualise yourself relaxed as it is.
Imagine you're looking back at yourself as though you were a ghost or a spirit body,
Is what I like to call it.
The spirit body is looking at your physical body from afar.
Visualise this in detail,
What you're wearing,
What's around you,
Your physical body that is.
And say silently to your physical body,
I'll be back soon because this spirit body that you're currently in,
You can roam around jumping through universes,
Teleporting in different countries,
You can go underwater,
Out into the stars.
I want you to choose your calm place,
Your choice,
Whether that be on the moon with the stars,
Maybe it's in the water floating in the sea or any source of water that is or maybe you're quite content at home,
Outside in nature,
Those are just some ideas.
Find your own place now where you are best going to find your inner calm.
I say inner calm because calm on the skin surface can be seen as a disguise.
We really want to feel this sense of calm today.
Notice no one around you in this place you've chosen.
Notice the energy of the air around you.
Is it still or a little breezy?
Can you hear birds or animals of any kind?
Can you feel anything around you,
Within you?
Notice the sense of smell wherever you are in your calm place.
What is it that you would be smelling?
If you're in nature maybe you can smell the flowers,
Fresh grass.
Notice what you might smell in different places that you're currently in.
Allow yourself now to casually drift around at your own pace on a little adventure.
You can go as slow as you like.
You can zoom around if that serves you well.
If you are zooming about allow yourself to slow down.
Find that sense of calm and try and let go of that fast pace environment that we're in.
Even just for a little while.
I'd like you to then find in this beautiful place you're in a little place to sit or lie.
Somewhere quiet,
That disruption.
Somewhere that you can relax,
Maybe admire what's around you with your third eye.
Or you can visualise your eyes closed and tune into your other senses.
For now I'll leave you in silence to relax into your state of calm.
Affirming I am relaxed and calm.
I am at peace.
I allow myself to let go and think of nothing.
I let go and think of nothing.
I let go and think of nothing.
I let go and think of nothing.
I let go and think of nothing.
And as you start to notice where you are again.
Start to open your third eye,
Not your true eyes.
See this beautiful place you're in that has brought you so much calm.
Perhaps noticing a sense of sadness that you need to leave this place.
But know that you can always come back.
Come back to this meditation or other meditations to find your inner calm.
I encourage you to then mentally awaken your spirit body a little further.
Take one last big breath in admiring this space.
As you close your third eye,
You sense your spirit body coming back,
Drifting into your physical body where you are right now.
Allow yourself to settle in,
Welcoming any movements you like here.
I hope this meditation has served you well.
My goal through my yoga classes and meditations is allowing you to find your inner bliss.
I hope this has served you well.
Thank you so much for listening.
Namaste and so be it.
