Namaste everybody.
Welcome to In the Flow with Lori Albert.
And I have a question for you.
Do you play small lately?
Are you playing small?
So the 13th century poet Rumi has this quote and I thought it was so apropos for us for these times.
Stop acting so small.
You are the universe in estatic motion.
So you are the universe in estatic motion.
Oh my gosh.
Is that not,
To me that is so,
That is such a invigorating quote.
Because you know here we are in the middle of all this craziness.
We've got pandemic,
We've got social unrest,
We've got planetary stuff going nuts,
Right?
And so many angry people,
So many,
So much unrest,
Right?
And it can scare us into not playing full out in our lives and not striving for our dreams.
Right?
Because what does fear do to you?
Fear stops you.
Stops you in your tracks.
So it's crazy times,
Yeah.
But we cannot allow the fear and the unrest and the,
And the,
Just all of those negative emotions.
We can't allow it to stop us because we are the universe in estatic motion.
I love those words together,
Estatic motion.
We are very,
We are the universe first of all.
And we need to keep that in our minds during this crazy time.
We are our universe.
Isn't that true?
We are our universe.
So today I want us to remember that as we get into our meditation today and as we go through our lives,
Don't be scared to play full out.
Stop playing small.
Just because things are the way they are right now,
Change is good.
You know,
I know people,
People love their steady motion and they love their steadiness every day.
It's the same thing.
And people love that.
They love the routine,
Kids especially,
Right?
Love the routine of life.
And we are not,
We are in anything but routine and we keep going back.
I don't know about you guys,
But I keep,
Because I'm the same way,
Right?
I keep going back and trying to find the routine and like,
So I'll create a new routine and then it'll,
It'll change again,
Right?
But here's the deal.
Change is good because it makes us think about things that maybe we weren't considering before.
New things.
Things that maybe Spirit wants us to focus on.
So in today's meditation,
You know what we're going to do,
Right?
We're going to meditate,
Right?
So,
Okay,
So let's all get ourselves comfortable in that space where you can lay down or you can sit with your feet flat on the floor or cross-legged,
Whatever works for you.
That's why I love what I do.
Whatever works for you is what's right.
That's so important.
So close your eyes,
Get yourself comfortable.
And let's consider,
What are you grateful for today?
What is so amazing in your life that you are grateful?
You know,
As we consider the gratitude,
The things we appreciate,
The things that we're thankful for in life,
It raises our vibration out of that place of fear.
Because that's the goal.
We don't want to be in fear.
Did you know that on the scale of vibrational emotions,
Fear is actually the lowest.
It's not hate.
So,
What are you grateful for?
I'm grateful for this time that I get to do this with you guys every morning.
What are you grateful for?
And the next sacred question as David G likes to call it,
Who are you when you are your best?
When you are your best self,
Who are you?
Are you compassionate,
Loving?
Who are you when you are your best self?
So today's mantra that we are going to repeat over and over.
Aham Brahmasmi.
And if those are new words for you,
Then let me say it again.
Aham Brahmasmi.
And you know what that means?
I am the universe.
Perfect for today,
Right?
I am the universe.
So if you get stuck on the Sanskrit pronunciation of that,
Aham Brahmasmi,
You can always revert back to I am the universe.
So our mantra,
We're going to repeat it over and over again,
Is Aham Brahmasmi.
So let's take a nice deep breath in and release.
And one more time,
Let's take another nice long slow deep breath in and release.
So let's keep repeating our mantra,
Aham Brahmasmi.
I will keep the time.
If you get lost in the mantra,
That's absolutely okay,
Just bring yourself back.
Focus on your breathing.
If you have other thoughts,
It's all good.
Just gently bring yourself back to the mantra,
Aham Brahmasmi.
And let's begin.
Aham Brahmasmi.
Aham Brahmasmi.
Aham Brahmasmi.
Aham Brahmasmi.
Aham Brahmasmi.
Aham Brahmasmi.
Aham Brahmasmi.
Aham Brahmasmi.
Aham Brahmasmi.
Aham Brahmasmi.
Aham Brahmasmi.
Aham Brahmasmi.
Aham Brahmasmi.
Aham Brahmasmi.
Aham Brahmasmi.
Aham Brahmasmi.
Let's start bringing our awareness back to our bodies,
Back to the room where we're sitting,
The chair.
Let's take a nice deep breath in and release.
Ah.
When you feel comfortable,
You can open your eyes.
Awesome.
That's fantastic.
Very good.
Now,
The rest of the day,
Feel empowered in your life.
Don't act small.
Don't act small because you are the universe.
And when you get stuck in your craziness of your mind today,
Just think,
Aham Brahmasmi.
I am the universe.
So thank you for joining every day.
I appreciate you guys so,
So much.
And until next time,
Aham Brahmasmi.
Namaste everybody.
Have a great day.
