Namaste everybody.

Welcome to In the Flow with Lori Albert.

Glad you're here today.

So I have something to tell us all.

We are all flawed human beings.

Isn't that great?

What a great way to start the day.

But you know what?

If we don't embrace our flaws,

We can't embrace the rest.

We should embrace all of us.

Every part.

The good parts,

The bad parts,

The happy parts,

The sad parts.

All of it.

And I am flawed.

I mean I've been writing stuff on Facebook lately.

I'm flawed.

We are all flawed to a certain degree.

However,

We can get out of that.

It's possible to step away from that flaw and embrace us,

But step away from the feeling guilty.

Step away from the feeling bad about it and all that stuff.

And how do we do that?

Well,

I want to tell you a story.

So you guys know how into gratitude I am.

I believe that it changes everything.

It keeps our vibration high and it allows us to vibrate at higher level.

Because that's the goal I think of life.

To vibrate at the higher level.

So yesterday I was at a retreat with David G.

All day.

It was awesome.

I mean he is just so great.

It was the teacher training.

Well not the training,

But it was the teachers,

His teachers.

And we got to do this retreat.

It was fantastic.

Anyway,

We were meditating and he was talking.

He was leading us.

And he goes,

He says,

Okay so what are you grateful for?

And I'm just like,

Yeah this is why I love him.

But then he said something crazy.

Well it wasn't crazy.

It was just like a new thought to me.

And I was like,

Oh!

So he paused for a moment.

What are you grateful for?

He paused and then he said,

Why?

And I went,

Whoa!

I mean it was like,

You know how like those those emojis of your like mind-blowing.

And I was like,

Whoa!

What an amazing way to continue that thought and take it deeper.

Right?

So we can think about,

Like I want us all right now,

Think about one thing that you're grateful for.

Just think about,

You know,

Whatever it is.

Your cup of coffee.

You like the flavor of it.

Right?

What are you grateful for?

You're grateful for your coffee.

Why are you grateful for it?

You're grateful for it because it tastes good.

You're grateful for it.

What am I grateful for?

I'm grateful that I don't even I can't even I have a beautiful house.

Right?

Now why am I grateful for that?

I'm grateful because it's comfortable.

Because I feel I feel peace here.

I feel,

You know,

All of that.

Right?

So isn't that freaking amazing?

Like it just takes it to a whole new level.

Why?

Love it.

You know and it's so funny because I used to do coaching for Landmark Education and that was one of the questions that they that they talked to us about asking our participants.

Ask them why?

And I'm just like,

Oh my gosh!

So yesterday it brought that to mind.

Right?

Those of you that have done Landmark remember that.

Right?

It just brought back that memory and I thought,

Oh my gosh!

Why is such an important question.

I am so grateful for my husband.

Why?

Because he is so patient with me.

Right?

I mean seriously.

So I am,

You know,

I'm grateful that I have my very own spirit room.

Why?

Because this is my sanctuary.

This is my my own sanctuary.

What are you grateful for?

Oh love this conversation.

You know?

Because here's what it does.

Right?

I was talking before about how we are all flawed human beings.

Right?

But guess what?

When we start considering what we're grateful for and why,

It starts to raise the vibration up and up and up and it takes us out of that place where we feel like we're flawed.

That we feel guilty about something we did or we feel guilty about,

You know,

Saying this to somebody.

Like I said some things on Facebook yesterday and I feel kind of guilty about it.

Now I was speaking my truth so there's like there's like that's a whole other conversation.

Right?

But the reality is is that I felt guilty about it.

So when I think about a place of gratitude and I think about what I'm grateful for and why,

I start to get out of that place of feeling guilt.

It raises your vibration.

Feeling guilty is a low vibration.

Being high in the vibrational scale is what you want to do.

So we are gonna have a great meditation today on gratitude.

So are you surprised?

Alright so everybody get yourself comfortable.

Get yourself comfy.

Whether your feet are cross-legged or sitting flat on the floor or lying down.

Let's take a nice really long deep deep breath in really slow and release.

That helps us get all of that stuff that is stuck in our craw out.

Right?

Let's take another deep breath in through our nose really slow and release it.

So what are a few things that you are grateful for?

If you're struggling with that just keep it to three.

Three is always a perfect number.

What are three things that you are grateful for?

It could be that you love your car.

It could be that you get to go out tonight,

Which I realize is difficult in this age of COVID.

Or the weather,

You're grateful for the weather.

Okay so let's ask that question then.

Why are you grateful for whatever it is?

Why are you grateful for the weather?

Because it's cooling off and I can go for a walk easily.

I am so grateful for the car I have because I feel comfortable in it and I love it.

So I also want to ask one of the sacred questions that David G likes to ask.

Who are you being when you are at your best?

Who are you being?

Are you being loving,

Compassionate,

Empathetic?

That's who you are.

That's who you really are.

That is what keeps us in the higher vibration and that's our goal today.

So today for our mantra we will simply say thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you to Mother Earth and Father Sky.

Thank you to the universe.

Thank you to ourselves for who we are.

I will keep the time and let's continue on with our mantra.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Let's start bringing our awareness back to where we are,

Where we're sitting.

Release the mantra.

Thank you.

When you feel comfortable you can open your eyes.

Yay.

It's a gratitude kind of day.

Whenever you feel down or if you feel guilty about something you did,

Go to the place of gratitude because gratitude is what will get you back up and get you happy.

If you ever want to take it deeper,

Ask why.

Why?

Why am I grateful?

Wow.

Until next time,

I love you all.

Please tune into my podcast whenever you can.

We are In The Flow and we will be in the flow together.

Thanks for joining everybody.
