And hello there everyone!

Namaste!

Welcome to In The Flow.

My name is Lori Albert and you know I keep wanting to say,

Let's get ready to meditate!

Instead of let's get ready to rumble,

You know,

I'm getting old or something I don't know.

So today I wanted to talk about some stigma.

Right?

Everybody,

Not everybody,

But there's a lot of people that think that psychic and mediumship is like really really woo-woo.

In a sense it is,

Right?

But the chakras are different than that.

The third eye chakra,

People all think that it's so woo-woo and they think,

Oh my god it's ESP.

Right?

It's like this big bad voodoo thing.

But you know what?

It's just not.

And it's a really beautiful thing when it comes right down to it.

Right?

You know when I was a kid I was scared to death of all of this woo-woo stuff.

Well I had some interesting things happening for me anyway.

So you know,

Just even when I was like a young kid I had things going on that I couldn't explain.

I was raised Catholic and I was kind of told just put that to the side.

Not told,

But like it just made me know that that wasn't appropriate and we just put all of anything like that to the side.

Right?

So I did for a long long time and it scared me whenever I would talk about it.

So there's like this stigma attached to the chakra system and the third eye.

You know kind of thing.

And I wanted to talk about it today because it's not as scary as you might think.

Okay?

So I wanted to find,

You guys are gonna laugh,

I wanted to find like the best description of what I could find to bridge the gap between woo-woo and bridge the gap between woo-woo and what I believe it really is.

Because you know we all have our own truth,

Right?

So okay,

I found the best description of it on Wikipedia of all places.

It just seemed like it was all-encompassing.

So anyway,

So this is what Wikipedia says about the third eye.

Ajna or the brow or the third eye chakra is the sixth primary chakra in the body according to Hindu tradition.

It is supposedly a part of the brain which can be made more powerful through meditation,

Yoga,

And other spiritual practices just as a muscle.

In Hindu tradition it signifies the subconscious mind,

The direct link to Brahman.

While a person's two eyes see the physical world,

The third eye is believed to reveal insights about the future.

The third eye chakra is said to connect people to their intuition,

Give them the ability to communicate with the world or help them receive messages from the past or the future.

Now to me that definition takes all the scariness out of it.

I don't know,

It does to me.

You know,

It is.

It's really a connection.

It's like the muscle that strengthens your connection between you and God or spirit or universe or Brahman or whatever you want to call it.

I wanted to say that today because so many people get so nervous about it as I was.

There's a fear attached to things that we don't know.

Don't you guys get that or believe that?

If you don't understand something there's a fear attached.

There just is.

Today we are going to meditate on our third eye and maybe just kind of work that muscle just a little bit.

Now this meditation we're doing is not a third eye opening.

I want that to be really clear because opening your third eye is a specific thing which entails a lot more time I think than this.

I have third eye meditations on my youtube channel so if you're really interested in it you can go to my my youtube channel and check that out.

That might be a meditation to put on here just for you guys.

It would be longer and that sort of thing.

Give me some feedback if you ever can.

See if you're interested in it because I would love to know.

Let's get ourselves comfortable.

Let's get ourselves situated and in that really comfortable place that we like to go to for meditation and our connection to spirit.

Let's take a nice long slow deep breath in really really slow through your nose.

Perfect.

As we get into this meditation let's start our day out with thinking of a few things that we are grateful for.

What are you grateful for today?

I love starting my day out that way.

It really sets and I know I've said this before but it really sets the trajectory of how your day is gonna flow.

What are you grateful for?

Right now today I am so present to the love that I have for my friends and family.

I am so aware of that right now and you all the extended community.

If we come at life and each other with love it changes everything.

Next I want to ask you one of David G's sacred questions.

He likes to ask,

Who are you when you are at your best?

I find that to be such an amazing question.

Who are you when you are at your best?

Are you sympathetic?

Empathetic?

Or just filled with love?

Compassionate?

Now that our vibration is on the higher side I want us to focus on our third eye.

So let's just place our attention right where our third eye is in between your brows.

This chakra is the color is like an indigo like a deep deep purple.

So imagine and place your attention on your third eye and just imagine that deep purple color.

This is our link,

Our connection to the divine,

To Spirit,

God,

Universe,

Whatever you want to call it.

And if we strengthen that muscle our connection to Spirit is very strong.

So today as we sit in the quiet for a few minutes I want us to focus on our connection.

Focus on the color purple and our spiritual strength,

Whatever that looks like for you.

Today let's concentrate on our breathing as we go in and out.

And let's view the color purple and the beautiful connection to Spirit.

And let's begin.

Breathe in and out.

Breathe in and out.

Breathe in and out.

Breathe in and out.

Breathe in and out.

Breathe in and out.

Breathe in and out.

Breathe in and out.

Breathe in and out.

Breathe in and out.

Breathe in and out.

Breathe in and out.

Let's breathe in and out.

One more deep breath in and release.

Very good.

When you feel comfortable you can open your eyes.

Now before I leave for the day I want you to know that this should not make you think that you are strengthening,

Well you are you're strengthening your chakras,

But this is not like all of a sudden you're gonna be a psychic thing.

It doesn't quite work that way.

So I just want you to know that.

I'm trying to take away the fear of all of this.

It's just a connection.

It's all about connection.

I'm so happy that you were able to join me today.

Thank you for joining.

Thank you for always being with me.

I can feel your love.

So thank you so much for joining.

Namaste everybody.

Have a beautiful day.
