Hello there.

Welcome to In the Flow with Flurry Albert.

So have you ever felt kind of disconnected from like the world?

Right?

Not present.

And as I put it a minute ago,

I put it like sludgy.

I don't even know if that's even a word,

But you might need the practice of spiritual self-care.

Right?

And what is spiritual self-care?

Well,

It's really emotional self-care.

I mean,

It's kind of the same thing as like emotional self-care and that sort of stuff,

You know?

But I'm calling it spiritual self-care because it goes to your soul,

You know?

So it can be liberating to do it that way too.

To be in the place of spiritual self-care.

Right?

Liberating.

And it's healthy for your body.

It's healthy for your body,

Your mind,

Your soul,

Your emotional state,

Everything.

Right?

So what can you do to be in?

What is spiritual self-care?

Well,

Spiritual self-care is number one.

You know what I'm going to say.

Meditation.

Meditation is great for that.

Right?

Sitting in silence.

Meditation.

Chanting.

Meditation.

Any type of that,

You know,

Sort of thing.

Now here's one that I just found.

There is this guy on Inside Timer and his name is Jude Darn it.

I forget his first name,

But his last name is Goreenie and he does dance meditation.

It was so cool.

I had,

You know what?

I wasn't even,

I was working as I was watching him and I could feel my vibration raising just watching him because he was just,

It was like him just dancing,

But it was like freeform dancing.

It wasn't like,

You know,

Doing dance moves kind of thing.

It was like,

And in the middle of it,

He was talking about how wonderful we all are and how amazing life is and all of that.

Cause it was amazing.

Right?

So doing something like that,

That is amazing spiritual self-care.

Right?

Grounding yourself.

Another thing for great self,

Spiritual self-care for sure.

Right?

And then,

You know,

You go into other things.

You can like read a spiritual book,

The Four Agreements,

One of my favorites of all time,

Pema Shodron,

Anything by Pema Shodron is just,

And here's the thing about Pema Shodron,

What I like to do about whenever I have one of her books,

I like to listen to it on Audible because you hear her talking.

She is so phenomenal.

She is just amazing.

Right?

And then,

You know,

It's so funny because I hadn't thought of this to say this a minute ago,

Or I mean earlier,

But one of my favorite books of all time is The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.

And I,

For a while there,

I haven't read it in a couple of years,

But for a while there,

I was reading it once a year because every time you read it,

You get like a new lesson.

Let's just say from it.

Right?

Really,

Really great.

Acts of kindness for spiritual self-care.

When you do something for somebody else,

Whatever that is,

When you do something for somebody else,

You're actually helping yourself too.

Right?

So there's that.

And then lastly,

What I'm gonna say about that is affirmations.

I love affirmations.

Of course.

I mean,

You know,

And I was,

I was telling somebody the other day,

It's so funny,

I was giving a reading and I was telling somebody the other day that one of the hardest things that you can do,

But the most beneficial for your life is to get up in the morning,

Look at yourself in the mirror,

In your eyes and say,

I love you.

I mean,

It's like making me teary-eyed.

I just like thinking about it right now.

But the reality is how,

I mean,

You say you love this person or that person or the dog or the cat,

You know,

But how often do you say it to yourself?

So those are just a few things for spiritual self-care.

Right?

Now here's what I really want to share with you.

This is the fun part,

Right?

For today,

Our mantra for today.

Oh,

I forgot to tell you,

I challenge you,

You know,

I'm so funny.

I challenge you to pick two or three things that I just said or pick your own and do them for yourself today.

Right?

And then the challenge goes even further.

Do that for a week and see what happens.

See how you feel.

See how you feel for a week.

Do two or three of those things for yourself every day and see how you feel.

Can you imagine if you three times a day looked at yourself in the mirror and said,

I love you for a week.

If you did that for a week,

Can you imagine like,

Actually you can't.

Until you do it,

You really can't like understand how it goes because it's amazing.

It's transformational.

So,

Okay.

So now what I'm going to talk about is our mantra for today.

Okay.

So Ram Dass,

Who,

I mean,

It doesn't get any cooler than Ram Dass,

Right?

He used the word Ram as a mantra.

Okay.

Now the interesting part of this is he used Ram as a mantra for like God to like to say Ram Ram God,

Right?

So he would basically say God over and over again.

Right.

And now let me just tell you what he wrote.

Okay.

He wrote,

The mantra that I use is the same as my guru,

Neem Karoli Baba used,

Which is Ram Ram Ram Ram Ram Ram.

The story of Ram or Rama is told in the spiritual classic Ramayana.

Ram represents living daily as an act of worship.

He is a being of great light,

Love,

Compassion,

Wisdom,

And power in perfect harmony.

Ram is the essence.

I'm going to say that again.

Ram is the essence of who you are.

When you realize your true self.

Ram.

Right?

Ram is also,

However,

Okay,

And this is me.

That was what Ram Dass said about chanting Ram.

Right?

Interestingly,

In the chakras,

When you say Ram over and over again,

You are strengthening your solar plexus.

So it's like a double whammy.

You know,

I mean,

It strengthens your solar plexus,

Your intuition,

Your gut instinct.

Right?

It helps to strengthen that.

So we are going to chant Ram today.

And however it feels like that you want to concentrate,

If you want to concentrate on it being strengthening your Manipura,

Then great.

Your solar plexus is what I mean.

Or if you want to do what Ram Dass said,

Ram is the essence of who you are when you realize your true self.

That is amazing.

Now that is the ultimate in self-care.

Right?

The ultimate in self-care.

I'm going to say it again.

Ram is the essence of who you are when you realize your true self.

Oh,

Love that.

Right?

Okay,

So let's get ourselves comfortable.

Okay.

Okay,

Let's close your eyes whenever you feel comfortable.

Take a nice deep breath in and release it.

Instant relaxation.

Right?

Perfect.

Perfect.

Perfect.

So I'm going to do this as a chant.

But you are welcome to chant with me or do it in your head.

Or as you're doing this,

Imagine the color yellow.

Whatever feels right.

Trust your intuition.

Whatever feels right for you.

Okay.

Okay.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram.

Makes some sense.

Ram.

Ram.

Ram is the essence of who you are when you realize your true self.

Let's finish this off by taking a deep breath in very slow and release.

Wonderful.

Very good.

You can open your eyes whenever you feel comfortable.

How did that feel for you?

I can still feel the vibration.

You know,

It's funny because when you chant Ram and you focus on the M,

Sometimes it makes you sneeze.

And interestingly,

That's very cleansing to sneeze.

So I hope you enjoyed this today.

Such a beautiful way to start the day.

Very high vibrational and starting to realize your true essence.

So that's beautiful.

So thank you so much for joining today.

I appreciate you all from my heart to yours.

Namaste everybody.
