
Manifestation Lesson On Shifting Our Thoughts. Yes, You Can!

Positivity-inspiring chat and meditation designed to uplift and motivate us to live our best lives.
Let's get in the flow.
Every time that I talk about shifting our thoughts,
I get like a ton of questions.
Okay,
That's what we're going to talk about today.
But here are the questions.
How do I do that?
How do I shift those thoughts?
Why is it important?
And my favorite question of all the ones that I get is,
What does that even mean to shift your thoughts?
What does that even mean?
Right?
So firstly,
What I want to say,
Actually,
Before I get into all this,
I want to talk about what all this means.
I want to say that in order to manifest anything,
We must keep our vibration high.
Okay?
In manifesting,
It's very important to stay as high vibrational as possible.
Okay?
So immerse,
Immerse,
Emotions like love and bliss and joy,
Fulfillment and satisfaction.
Right?
All of those are emotions that are high vibrational.
Okay?
The emotions we want to stay away from,
Okay,
Are frustration and anger,
Disappointment,
Fear.
That's the biggie.
Right?
Fear is the biggie.
Right?
So the bottom line is,
In shifting your thoughts,
When something happens in your life that is just not so great.
Okay?
Normally,
We sometimes go to that place of,
Oh my God,
I have a flat tire.
Now I'm going to be late.
Right?
We've all been there.
Okay?
And even me who I do really,
Really good at manifesting,
I still have those thoughts too.
Right?
Of,
Oh my God,
Now I'm going to be late.
Kind of thoughts.
Right?
So shifting your thoughts means that when we have those thoughts come up,
And they will,
We quickly shift them to something,
Anything more positive.
Okay?
So instead of saying to yourself,
Oh crap,
I have a flat tire.
Now I'm going to be late.
We might shift that to,
We have to catch it.
Right?
And then we shift it to,
Oh my God,
I am so fortunate that I noticed the flat tire.
Because if I hadn't noticed the flat tire,
I might have driven on the flat tire and completely damaged the car.
Right?
So,
Doesn't that sound pretty amazing?
I mean,
When you think about that,
Shifting it.
Okay?
So now here's the next thought.
Why is this important at all?
That's what I love.
Right?
Why is this important?
Right?
Now,
Mind you,
I am giving you,
I just want to say,
I'm giving you kind of the short version of this.
Right?
In the book,
That comes out Tuesday.
In the book,
That's what I,
I taught,
I go into depth in this,
Just so you know.
Alright,
So mind you,
I'm giving you the short version of this.
Okay.
But the explanation on why this is all very important,
It's a lot as to how the energy works with regard to our emotions in manifesting.
But for today,
What I want to discuss is,
I want us to consider that we have control over our thoughts.
Now,
Which thoughts we choose,
Those are up to us.
Right?
That's why it's important to learn about shifting.
One of the exercises that I suggest and talk a lot about when I do classes and all that kind of stuff,
Right?
It's the process of shifting our thoughts.
Okay?
And this is how we begin to manifest what we choose.
Okay?
So,
As we start doing all the fun aspects of manifesting,
You know,
Like journaling and visualizing,
Which I love,
Love,
Love,
Love,
Love.
Okay?
What I suggest is when you start out on this journey,
Right,
Of manifesting and you decide,
Oh my God,
I'm going to manifest like,
Like,
I want to manifest everything,
Whatever.
Okay?
I always suggest that you take a few days to focus and just sit back and recognize your thoughts.
It's about recognizing them.
What are those thoughts?
High vibrational happy thoughts or low vibrational fear based thoughts.
And what's amazing about this is that we just go gentle and stop and notice them.
Find something and then find something,
Find anything to replace the negative ones with.
You may notice that you're having happy thoughts a lot,
And that is great.
That is staying in that high vibration.
But you might also notice and don't make yourself wrong for having negative thoughts and yelling at those drivers on the road.
Right?
You don't,
You don't need to notice all of that.
I mean,
You do need to notice that,
But you don't need to like make yourself wrong for understanding that you have negative thoughts.
Right?
We just need to learn how to shift them.
Right?
Some people call it reframing.
For me and my purposes,
I call it shifting because we're shifting it like the shift in the car.
Right?
So I mean,
And here's the thing.
It could be anything that you need to shift,
Right?
You can say to yourself,
Oh,
My God,
We got six feet of snow last night.
Now I don't get to go to the concert that I wanted to go to.
And I'm really bummed.
So maybe we turn that thought into,
You know what?
I'm a little tired tonight anyway.
Or you know what I'm going to do instead?
I'm going to turn on the album.
Yes,
I just dated myself.
I'm going to turn on the CD.
I'm going to play their music really loud and dance in my house.
Talk about high vibrational.
Right?
It's a matter of finding that shift,
That positive,
Noticing your thoughts,
Finding that shift.
Okay,
So now after you do that,
This is almost just as critical as sitting back and noticing your thoughts.
Right?
Go to your journal and write it all down.
Write down your thoughts on it.
Oh,
My God,
Today I totally caught myself.
Okay,
The reason why the journaling is so important is so that you can go back and look at it.
Go back and read what you wrote and how you maneuvered through it.
Or you can look back and say,
Oh,
My God,
I can't believe I was thinking that that way.
And you can see how far you've come.
There's so much that you can learn about yourself by looking back.
Right?
Okay,
So we're going to meditate on this just for a few minutes.
Right?
So I've got a fantastic little affirmation for us to meditate on.
Okay.
Let's sit back.
And rest our body or relax our muscles and our minds a little bit.
Let's take a nice deep breath in.
Breathe in very deep.
And breathe out.
Being very gentle with ourselves and our breath.
One more very slow,
Easy breath.
And release.
Today's affirmation that we're going to sit in meditation just for a few minutes is this.
Today,
I will choose positive,
High vibrational thoughts only.
And I'm saying this just for saying the word today makes it less dramatic and less scary.
So we say to ourselves today,
I will choose positive,
High vibrational thoughts only.
Today,
I will choose high vibrational thoughts and positive thoughts only.
So as we sit in the stillness and we say this affirmation over and over,
I will keep the time.
And let's begin.
Today,
I will choose positive,
High vibrational thoughts only.
