Welcome to In the Flow,

A positivity-provoking podcast designed to lift us up to that higher place to live our best lives.

We will laugh,

Cry,

Meditate,

And discuss any and all things spiritual to learn and remove any stigma surrounding spiritual gifts,

Meditation,

Prayer,

And the afterlife.

So have you ever sort of just got tired of it all?

Have you ever experienced that?

Just got tired of it all and just want to turn everybody off and everything off?

Yeah,

I have too.

You know,

It's kind of crazy because I really feel like that we're allowed to ebb and flow like that.

You know?

Like we're allowed to feel however we feel is the bottom line,

Right?

Seriously,

We're allowed to feel however we feel.

But you know what?

The ebbs and the flows of life make us appreciate,

You know,

I heard somebody say it,

I don't know who it was.

Somebody say,

The lows make us appreciate the highs,

Right?

And the highs make us appreciate life.

And I was like,

I get that.

I really,

Really get that.

You know,

I really get that.

So you know,

I was thinking today,

You know,

In the way of being of just kind of tired of it all.

And how do we get past that?

It's really about getting present to where we are,

Why we are.

And then feeling gratitude.

Feeling the gratitude of just life.

I hope that makes sense.

Yeah,

You know?

Sometimes all we need to do is walk outside,

Right?

Whenever you're feeling one way or another,

Right?

Sometimes if you're feeling like low or whatever,

Sometimes just walking outside and like standing in the grass in your bare feet,

Standing in the grass and just feeling the earth.

Sometimes that can change everything or taking a walk or taking a bath,

You know?

Like just taking in a bath can make you feel completely different and completely rejuvenated and completely grateful.

Because my feeling is that when we can get ourselves to a place of being present to all the great things in our lives,

If we can get that even in our lowest time,

If we can get present to the cool things that are happening to us,

That changes everything.

That can change everything and it can change,

This is going to sound crazy,

But it can change the people around you because you react to things different.

You know what I mean?

I'm so aware of the difference that gratitude can make into your life.

I'm just so aware of that.

I'm aware of the fact that,

I'm really aware of the fact that when I concentrate on the things that are going well in my life versus the things that kind of suck versus the things that are not going so great,

That changes everything.

Whenever things are starting to go south and I'm starting to feel low and I just want to be away from everybody and everything,

If I make myself think about three things that I am just excited about in my life,

It makes me be present to where I'm at right now,

Right here,

Right now.

I just love that.

I just absolutely love that and I want to meditate on this today because here's the thing.

Once we get to that place and we start to feel,

We start to understand that gratitude is amazing and it can change everything in your life.

Once we get to that place,

Once we get to that place,

We feel the joy,

Joy,

Absolute joy.

So today we are going to meditate on being present,

Getting present.

So let's get ourselves comfortable.

Yes,

I'm in a different place today.

Oh my gosh.

So let's get ourselves comfortable however that looks for you.

So if you want to sit or if you want to lie down or if you want to stand and walk,

I mean walking,

There is such a thing as walking meditations.

How cool is that?

Whatever feels comfortable for you.

And then let's close our eyes whenever it feels right and let's take a nice long slow deep,

Deep breath in and release it.

Perfect.

I think that taking deep breaths helps to release the endorphins.

That's just my opinion.

There's no science to back me up on that.

And as we get ready to sit in the stillness for just a minute,

Just a few minutes,

Let's consider a few things that we are grateful for.

What is great in your life right now?

What is going well?

What is beautiful?

Are the flowers blooming where you are?

Are you grateful for the cup of tea that you have or the cup of coffee?

There's always,

Always,

Always something to feel gratitude for.

And as we do that,

Let's be aware of where we are,

Our present moment.

That's what we're going to focus on today.

So in our meditation,

Our mantra is this,

As I sit here quietly,

I am present to the beauty of life.

As I sit here quietly,

I am present to the beauty of life.

I'll say it one more time.

As I sit here quietly,

I am present to the beauty of life.

That puts a smile on my face.

I don't know about you guys.

So we're going to sit in the stillness.

I will keep the time.

And let's begin.

As I sit here quietly,

I am present to the beauty of life.

As I sit here quietly,

I am present to the beauty of life.

As I sit here quietly,

I am present to the beauty of life.

As I sit here quietly,

I am present to the beauty of life.

As I sit here quietly,

I am present to the beauty of life.

As I sit here quietly,

I am present to the beauty of life.

As I sit here quietly,

I am present to the beauty of life.

As I sit here quietly,

I am present to the beauty of life.

As I sit here quietly,

I am present to the beauty of life.

As I sit here quietly,

I am present to the beauty of life.

I am present to the beauty of life.

We can start bringing our awareness back to our bodies.

And let's take a nice deep breath in and release.

Awesome.

Awesome.

Whenever you feel comfortable,

You can open your eyes.

I just,

I'm so grateful today for so much.

And I like to share that with people because when we get present to gratitude,

We understand that we are spiritual beings having a human experience.

And to me,

That's amazing.

It's amazing that spirit connected all of us right here,

Right now.

I love that.

Love,

Love,

Love that.

So thanks for joining,

As always,

Loving you guys.

Thanks so much for joining from my heart to yours.

Namaste.
