Immersing ourselves in pure bliss sounds fleeting but it doesn’t have to be. Being aware of the present moment is where the joy is. My dear friend, Pierre Bensusan, has permitted me to use his track called ‘Sentimentales Pyromaniaques’ from the album 'Altiplanos'. It’s my favorite song by him.

Welcome to In the Flow,

A positivity-provoking podcast designed to lift us up to that higher place to live our best lives.

We will laugh,

Cry,

Meditate,

And discuss any and all things spiritual to learn and remove any stigma surrounding spiritual gifts,

Meditation,

Prayer,

And the afterlife.

So today we are going to immerse ourselves in bliss.

Gosh,

Doesn't that sound just absolutely divine?

Immerse ourselves in bliss,

Especially right now with all this crazy,

Like sort of strange energy that's happening out there as Mercury gets ready to go retrograde.

Yeah,

That's why this is kind of goofy because,

And again,

I know I always say this,

But I'm not an astrologer.

I don't know that that much about it all,

But there are certain things that I know about and this would be one of them.

Like the two weeks before Mercury returns retrograde,

Which will be on the 29th,

Things get funky,

Right?

You know,

The travel plans,

All that stuff.

So I always talk about patience,

Persistence,

Positivity,

Right?

So however,

Today we're going to immerse ourselves in bliss,

Right?

I want to talk about the mantra Sat-Chit-Ananda.

Okay.

Now those three words on the face,

Right?

They mean,

Like literally,

They mean truth,

Consciousness,

Bliss,

Right?

But I wanted to sort of dive into what those words together actually mean,

Right?

So Sat is truth,

Right?

So it's the eternal.

It is the never changing.

It's the pure existence,

Right?

So it's pure existence of ourselves,

Of us.

Okay.

Chit is the consciousness of all that is.

Okay.

I hope that makes sense because Chit is being conscious,

Being aware of all that is.

And then of course Ananda is bliss,

You know?

I mean,

That could be its own mantra,

To be honest,

Right?

And I'm sure it is,

You know,

And I'm sure I've used it,

You know,

Before.

But when you put all those words together,

It means this.

When we are completely conscious of and aware of the exact present moment that we are in and we understand that all is perfect in this exact moment,

That is when bliss is,

Is,

Is it appears,

Right?

Now I want to explain.

Joy is supposed to be our natural state,

You know,

In all of the ancient texts.

That's what they talk about.

They talk about how bliss is supposed to be our natural state.

So meditating on this is extraordinary,

Right?

Because how amazing is it to start your day off,

Right?

With this,

With this vibration,

Whether it's,

Whether you,

Whether you concentrate on the words themselves,

Or if you just,

Just allow yourself to sink in to the vibration of the words.

That is,

That is where we understand that when we are conscious to the fact that in this present moment,

Right here,

Right now,

Everything is perfect.

That's the bliss.

That's the joy.

And to me,

That's also peace,

You know,

Because along with that comes peace,

Right?

So I,

I love this particular mantra for both of it.

You know,

They,

In learning about the different mantras that are out there,

We talk,

The,

The ancient texts talk so much about,

And our spiritual teachers talk so much about the vibrational quality of them.

But for this particular mantra,

Sat-Chit-Ananda,

It's the meaning of it too,

Right?

So for those of us that are loving our meditation practice and are trying to get everything out of it that we possibly can,

This is the way,

Right?

This is what is so beautiful.

So let's get ourselves comfortable because we are going to meditate on this.

Being aware of that the present moment is perfect.

That brings us bliss.

Oh my God.

That gives me chills.

That absolutely bring,

Gives me chills.

I love that.

So let's get ourselves comfortable.

Let's relax our bodies,

Sit back or lie down,

However it is comfortable for you.

Close your eyes.

Let's take a nice deep breath in first one of the day for some of us and release it.

If where you are is later in the day,

Then it's the last breath of the day.

So as we get ready to sit in the stillness and repeat this amazing mantra,

Let's start our day out with our gratefuls.

What are you grateful for today?

What is it?

What is it that is good in your life today?

There's always,

Always,

Always,

Always something,

Right?

Just in your mind's eye,

What are you grateful for?

Are you grateful for your family and your friends,

Your pets?

Are you grateful for this present moment?

I love that so much.

Oh my gosh.

What are you grateful for?

So as we sit in the stillness with this mantra,

This beautiful,

Beautiful Sanskrit mantra,

We sit knowing that right now,

Right here,

Right now is perfect.

If you forget the mantra halfway through,

That's absolutely okay.

You can always,

Always go back and concentrate on your breath.

I will keep the time and let's begin.

Sat-chit Ananda.

Sat-chit Ananda.

Sat-chit Ananda.

Sat-chit Ananda.

Sat-chit Ananda.

Sat-chit Ananda.

Sat-chit Ananda.

Sat-chit Ananda.

Sat-chit Ananda.

Sat-chit Ananda.

Sat-chit Ananda.

Sat-chit Ananda.

Sat-chit Ananda.

Sat-chit Ananda.

Sat-chit Ananda.

Sat-chit Ananda.

Sat-chit Ananda.

Sat-chit Ananda.

Sat-chit Ananda.

Sat-chit Ananda.

Sat-chit Ananda.

Sat-chit Ananda.

Sat-chit Ananda.

Start bringing our awareness back to our bodies.

Beautiful.

Knowing that this present moment right here,

Wherever you are,

All is perfect.

And we live in bliss.

Whenever you feel comfortable,

You can open your eyes.

How awesome.

Oh my gosh.

That is truly one of my favorite mantras.

Just because it encompasses everything,

You know?

And then the vibration,

Of course,

Is amazing.

So thank you so much for joining,

As always.

I appreciate each and every one of you,

From my heart to yours.

Namaste.
