Welcome to In the Flow with Laurie Albert,
A brief positivity-inspiring chat and meditation designed to uplift and motivate us to live our best lives.
Let's get in the flow.
So I get asked all the time,
Or I should say often,
You know,
What exactly does high vibrational even mean?
Like,
And why do I want to live in this high vibrational place?
This,
This place,
Right?
Well,
Here's the thing.
Specifically,
Well,
I should say,
Not specifically,
But in terms of like manifesting,
Okay,
You want to stay in a high vibrational place.
Okay,
So what is being high vibrational?
Well,
So the best description ever,
To me,
Anyway,
The most,
The most,
The one that makes the most sense,
Right,
Is when Abraham Hicks describes staying high vibrational.
Okay,
Esther Hicks has this,
Abraham has this,
It's called the emotional guidance scale.
Okay,
And I love it,
Right,
Because on the top is like love,
Peace,
Bliss,
Joy,
Excitement,
Gratitude,
All those really great things that we all want to be,
Right?
But then on the low end is jealousy,
Frustration,
Low self-esteem,
Fear.
Do you know that fear is actually on this guidance,
And if you think about it,
It makes sense.
Fear is the lowest emotion that we can have,
And don't so many of us live in a fearful place.
That's what's so cool about the scale,
Okay?
So it's called the emotional guidance scale,
And giving credit,
Obviously,
To Esther Hicks and Abraham,
It makes so much sense,
Right?
So when you're,
You know,
And we fluctuate all during every day,
Right?
We fluctuate from feeling so blissful and so joyful,
And then all of a sudden,
Something will happen and we'll be like,
Oh,
You know,
You go to that place of not caring.
Not content,
Jealousy,
Fear,
Hate,
You know,
Fear is lower than hate,
Right?
So what our goal then is,
And I'm giving you the short version here today,
But the goal is to figure out several times a day or whatever,
Where we are on that scale and try to get ourselves back up.
Now,
Why do we want to live in a place of love?
Well,
You know,
It's kind of,
In a part,
It's like self-explanatory.
Why do we want to live in a place of joy?
You know,
Why?
Why wouldn't we want to live in a place of joy?
I guess would be more than right the question,
But what's so fascinating about this entire thing is,
Is that,
And what I'm going to talk about today is affirmations.
Affirmations can help us get to that higher place when we're down in the low part,
You know,
Like I was mentioning a minute ago,
We so,
And I do too,
Little Miss Happy Medium.
I live in a place of,
Not all the time,
But sometimes,
You know,
I'll go to that place of,
You know,
I'll share with you really quick.
I have been throughout my life,
Kind of a no person.
Who would ever think that?
I mean,
You know,
Because I'm like this little happy girl who's like,
You know,
Just tries to giggle my way through life,
Dare I say it that way,
But you know what I mean.
I get into that fearful place and I say no.
Now I've been working on it for many years and I'm getting myself to the point now where I will say,
You know,
At least I won't go to,
No,
No,
No,
I can't do that.
Do you know what I'm saying?
So like now I get to that place where I'll say,
Hold on a minute,
Because my gut instinct is that I can't do that.
Oh my God,
Really?
Can I do that?
I can't do that,
Right?
That's what that's comes from fear.
So what I do there is I take a step back.
That's my,
That's how I fix that,
Right?
Everybody has their own way of fixing it,
Right?
But how I go to the place of getting myself up on that guidance,
That emotional guidance scale is I'll take a step back and I will pretty much use an affirmation that makes me feel empowered.
Right?
Makes me feel courageous,
Courageous.
You know,
This is just me.
Everybody has that one,
I don't know,
I think anyway,
Everybody has that one word that tweaks them and tweaks them in a good way to get you like,
Oh yeah,
Let's do this motivated,
Right?
My word is courageous.
I do not know why,
I don't know where it came from.
I mean,
I don't know why that that word does it for me,
But it couldn't bring me to tears.
Like right now,
Just saying that word brings me to tears because I am courageous.
Whoa.
Right?
Saying that to yourself,
I am courageous.
When you feel yourself going into those lower vibrational,
Not happy places,
The way to bring yourself back up is to start,
You know,
Aim for,
If you're in a place of fear,
Aim for,
This might sound really weird,
But aim for discomfort or aim for discontent because it's still higher than that,
Right?
And then once you're at that place of discontent,
Then move up even further and aim for,
Aim for courageous,
Aim for joy,
Aim for gratitude.
That's why we talk about being grateful all the time.
Because it helps to bring you up that scale,
Even if it's just in little tiny increments getting you up there.
That's an in,
Like I was saying a minute ago,
In terms of manifesting.
That's where you manifest in the joy bliss thing.
And why?
Why do we manifest in that higher vibration?
Because like attracts like.
So if we're sitting in a place of bliss and joy,
We are going to attract people,
Situations,
Things that match that vibration.
Joy.
Right?
So it sounds easy.
The idea of it is great,
Right?
But we have to work at that.
I still work at,
I mean,
I've been doing this a long time.
I still work at it every single day.
So today what we're going to do is we are going to meditate on some affirmations that help us raise us up.
OK,
Now,
Yeah.
We've got this.
We are courage.
We are brave.
We are going to meditate on raising our vibration through the crown chakra.
The crown chakra is our link to spirit.
And opening up that crown chakra can create.
Fill us with joy and peace.
And bliss.
And help us rise up out of the lower vibrations.
So let's get ourselves comfortable.
Close your eyes.
Sit very comfortable,
Whatever that looks like for you.
And let's take a deep,
Very slow,
Deep breath in.
Perfect.
So let's imagine.
Our root.
Let's place our attention on our crown chakra at the top of our heads.
White,
Perfect,
Beautiful,
Pure white light energy coming in to our crown chakra and down through our body.
Allowing us to feel.
Confident.
Joyful.
And courageous.
As I repeat these affirmations,
Feel free to repeat them with me.
All is well.
I am on the path of my life's purpose.
I honor the divine within.
I am connected to everyone and everything.
I live in the present moment.
My life flows evenly and purposefully.
I am at peace.
I feel oneness with the universe.
My happiness comes from within.
My mind is at peace.
I am a divine being.
I live my life with love and grace.
I am constantly seeking and receiving divine wisdom.
I am enlightenment.
I am connected.
I am at ease.
I accept myself unconditionally.
My spiritual insight is clear.
I am open to abundance.
I accept all that comes to me with trust and acceptance.
I am.
I know.
I understand.
I am the light.
I am the light.
I am the light.
I am connected to our bodies.
Become aware of the chair we're sitting in.
I am connected to the light.
I am connected to the light.
