Let's begin our day with a little bit of happy talk and meditation in this short yet impactful podcast designed to infuse a little bit of positivity into each moment of every day.
Let's get in the flow.
My question for everyone out there today is this,
How often do you really,
Really listen to your gut instinct?
I mean,
Like,
Really listen to what your heart,
Your soul,
Your body,
All of it is telling you.
It's difficult sometimes,
Isn't it?
You know,
It is because there are outside forces that influence every single decision,
Every single thing we think about.
You know,
You know,
As you're driving somewhere,
And you know,
You're not supposed to go the normal way.
But the person you're with is like,
What?
Don't even worry about it.
It's fine.
Let's go the normal way.
And then all of a sudden,
You hit tons of traffic,
Making you late.
Right?
Or you take more like dramatically,
You take a job,
Right?
You take this job because the pay is incredible.
Knowing that you aren't really excited about it and something is kind of sticking in your craw,
Where I got that,
I don't know,
But something is like sticking in your craw,
Right about it that you shouldn't do it.
And all your friends are like,
The job sounds amazing.
Just take it,
You know,
So guess what?
You take the job.
And it isn't anything like what you thought it was going to be.
And your co workers are like giving you the,
You know,
The silent treatment because you're the new guy.
And the job isn't anything what you thought.
Right?
So you end up stressed,
Right?
You end up stressed,
And you end up looking for yet another job,
Right?
Or something different.
It's tough.
And that's what we're going to talk about today.
Our intuition is the window to our soul.
But sometimes that window gets really,
Really dirty.
Due to all the earthly influences,
And the lack of trusting ourselves and trusting spirit.
It gets dirty,
And you can't see it.
You can't feel it,
Right?
So what if,
What if for just one day,
Whenever we are faced with any decision,
Whether you know,
Big or small,
What if if we took just one day,
Whenever we're faced with that decision to go within and ask ourselves,
What is for our highest and greatest good?
And then what if we follow that?
What if we follow it?
Following the intuition is about trusting ourselves and trusting spirit.
Trust is something that can be very difficult to cultivate,
Obviously,
Right?
It can be.
But once you've established it,
Once you sort of clean off that window,
Even just a little bit to see through and see the,
See,
You know,
What,
What spirit is telling you,
Or what you know to be true,
Once you clean that off a little bit,
Your life is never the same.
Right?
Never the same.
So in order to strengthen our trust of ourselves and spirit,
And establish that connection,
We're going to focus today on our meditation,
We're going to focus today on our solar plexus,
The Manipura.
Okay,
And that is the yellow chakra.
For those of you that aren't aware,
It's the yellow chakra and it is just above your belly button.
It's kind of ironically right where your gut is.
You know,
It just amazes me how it all kind of comes together,
Right?
So when we focus on our solar plexus,
And our gut,
Our intuition,
When we focus on our solar plexus,
And balance that out,
We get better at listening to our intuition and trusting it.
It's all about trusting spirit,
What spirit has to tell us.
It's so easy to dismiss it all.
You know,
It's so easy.
Like you get that feeling in the pit,
You know,
That feeling in the pit of your stomach.
That's it.
That's your gut.
You get a feeling in the pit of your stomach that you should not take that job.
Oh my gosh.
Right?
Don't take the job.
Even though the pay is like really good,
There's something wrong.
Oh my gosh.
Had I listen years ago,
I took this job and it was a long time ago.
And I took this job and I knew,
I knew,
I knew,
I knew.
Oh my gosh.
I was there for way too long.
And this is before I really started following my gut,
You know,
And I have to say it,
I would leave,
I would go to work crying and I would leave there crying.
It was bad.
Right?
However,
Okay,
Because spirit knows,
Right?
Spirit knows how to make an example out of everything I feel like.
And I was really,
Really just at the beginning of coming to terms with my spirituality and my gifts,
Right?
Because I had sort of turned it off for so long and I started to understand,
You know what?
I'm not supposed to be here.
You know,
This isn't right.
And I started developing myself as I was at the job.
And finally one day I was like,
You know what?
I don't deserve this.
I deserve something far better than this.
Right?
So I found something else and I moved and it was like,
Oh,
It's like the clouds,
The heavens opened up and my life was golden for a while anyway.
Right?
Oh my gosh.
So today we're going to focus on our solar plexus,
The mani purah for our meditation.
All right,
So let's get ourselves comfy,
Comfy,
Comfy.
And let's close our eyes whenever it feels right for you.
Today we are strengthening our trust in ourselves and spirit.
Let's take a beautiful,
Really deep cleansing breath in really slow.
Feeling that life force of air going into our lungs and into our body bloodstream going through all throughout our body and release it.
Awesome.
Our solar plexus,
The mani purah is the yellow chakra just above our navel.
This is where our intuition lies.
This is where spirit can speak to us in the physicalness,
In our physicalness.
So let's place our attention on our solar plexus and just imagine that ball of yellow light starting to grow within your gut.
