What makes you happy? Let’s consider that WE make us happy. Our minds have more power than we know! My dear friend, Pierre Bensusan, has permitted me to use his track called ‘Sentimentales Pyromaniaques’ from the album 'Altiplanos'.

Hey there.

So let's raise our vibration,

Shall we?

I woke up so happy this morning.

I don't know if it's vitamins that's making me this way.

But no,

Seriously though,

The reality is,

Is that I woke up really happy this morning.

And it's so funny what that does to the rest of your day,

Right?

I mean it just changes everything about your day when you wake up happy,

Right?

So that's why today I want to talk about happiness because talking about happiness actually raises our vibration.

So you know,

How perfect is that?

So here's my question though.

What makes us happy?

What makes you happy?

And what makes you sad?

I guess would be also the same question,

Right?

The thing about those questions is,

And this is really an interesting thing because it doesn't matter what the answer is.

I know that sounds kind of weird,

But the reality is it's all up to us individually to,

You know,

I mean,

I make myself happy.

Or I make myself sad.

Or I make myself angry,

Right?

You know,

It's funny because somebody said to me the other day,

You know,

Oh my gosh,

This person just made me so angry.

And I thought to myself,

Huh.

Um,

No,

I don't think so.

You know,

I mean,

I started thinking to myself,

I don't know,

Did that person really make you angry?

Or was it you that made you angry?

You know,

It's all about our thoughts and our mindset,

Right?

It's all about our thoughts.

We control our thoughts.

That's just it,

Right?

We control our thoughts.

Happiness is a mindset.

And as much as people don't like to hear this,

Some people don't,

But we have the ability to control the thoughts in our minds,

Right?

If you want to change your thought patterns,

Maybe take a look at or maybe like just be conscious of your thoughts.

Not necessarily try to change them for a day or two,

But like be conscious.

Oh,

Wow,

That was pretty judgy.

Or Oh,

That made me that made me feel sad.

You know,

So really interesting.

Isn't this like an interesting subject?

You know,

And what,

You know,

It's funny,

Because I'll like,

Think about this,

And I'll,

You know,

Hear something along those lines.

And then it'll come into my mind.

And I'll be like,

Oh,

My God,

It's an aha moment.

But then it like goes away.

And I forget or something,

Right?

We have control over our thoughts.

Our thoughts don't have control over us.

Wow.

So okay,

So Wayne Dyer has this book.

And this is I mean,

Of course,

Wayne Dyer is like,

The guru,

Right?

And I like,

I call him in all the time,

You know,

I know,

He's on the other side,

Right?

But I call him in all the time.

I'm like,

Wayne,

Can you just help me with this,

You know,

Kind of thing.

So I love his book,

Like,

Actually,

Forget the book itself.

But the title of the book is amazing.

It's called Change Your Thoughts Change Your Life,

Right?

And basically what it is,

It's a look at all of the verses of the Tao Te Ching,

Right?

So that in itself is like amazing.

But when you just take a look at the title,

Change your thoughts change your life.

Geez,

I mean,

Does it get any more like in your face than that?

You know,

It's about shifting.

It's about shifting our minds.

It's about shifting our mindset.

Nobody's gonna make you sad unless you want to be sad.

Who was it Eleanor Roosevelt that said,

No one can make you feel inferior without your consent?

You know,

That's like another thing.

All these people,

These people knew what they were talking about,

Right?

Wayne Dyer,

Lao Tzu,

You know,

Um,

Just it's,

It's,

It's,

It's,

It's,

It's,

It's,

It's,

It's all so fascinating.

So anyway,

So that's what I thought.

Okay,

You know what?

Let's meditate on this today.

Let's let's meditate on this because if we meditate on being happy,

Wow,

How can your day how,

You know,

If your day starts out with you just being happy,

That just sets you up for like a great day.

Don't you think?

I don't know.

I think so.

It does me.

If I wake up and I'm in a happy place,

It truly sets me up for a great day.

I'm having a great day so far.

You know,

I've got my happy mug.

I'm like,

You know,

I'm burning my yellow candle,

Which I love.

You know,

It's like yellow is my favorite color and it's like happy,

Right?

And what are we going to do?

We're going to meditate.

That's so cool.

Right?

So,

Okay,

Let's get ourselves comfortable because we're gonna,

We're gonna meditate on this,

Right?

And I have a really cool mantra for today too.

So,

So let's get ourselves comfortable and we're going to raise our vibration a little bit,

Right?

So let's start out by taking a nice deep breath in and release it.

Ah,

That's so good.

So what is one way you guys know?

I talk about this all the time,

One way to start to raise our vibration is to go to a place of gratitude.

So let's think about one or two things that bring us joy and that make us happy,

Right?

So what is like something that you are absolutely grateful for?

Just one thing.

It could be,

You know,

And this is what I love about the practice of gratitude is that it's so highly personal that it could be,

It could be,

You know,

Your,

Your happy mug or it could be,

It could be that your loved one is safe,

You know,

Or is your loved ones are healthy.

So I mean,

It's really highly personal.

So what is something,

And let's go with two things today,

Right?

What are two things that make you so grateful?

How perfect.

And you know what I love?

There's no wrong answer.

There's no wrong answer.

Perfect.

Perfect.

So our mantra for today.

Okay,

So now I'm gonna tell you what this mantra is and you can learn it with me and that's absolutely fine.

Don't get,

Don't get all hooked up into the fact that,

Oh my God,

I'm not going to remember it or whatever.

It's about the vibration,

Right?

So yeah,

So just be aware.

Here's the mantra.

It's a Sanskrit mantra and it is this.

Loka samasta sukhino bhavantu.

Loka samasta sukhino bhavantu.

Loka samasta sukhino bhavantu.

And what that means is,

This is the most beautiful part.

May all beings everywhere be happy and free.

And may the thoughts,

Words and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all.

I want that all day,

Every day.

Loka samasta sukhino bhavantu.

Perfect.

So if you want to do it with me,

That's absolutely fine.

If you lose it,

That's absolutely fine.

Just either concentrate on your breath or maybe just think happiness to yourself.

Just concentrate on the vibration of happiness because that's what this is all about.

So I will keep the time.

And let's begin.

Loka samasta sukhino bhavantu.

Loka samasta sukhino bhavantu.

Loka samasta sukhino bhavantu.

Loka samasta sukhino bhavantu.

Loka samasta sukhino bhavantu.

Loka samasta sukhino bhavantu.

Loka samasta sukhino bhavantu.

Loka samasta sukhino bhavantu.

Loka samasta sukhino bhavantu.

Loka samasta sukhino bhavantu.

Loka samasta sukhino bhavantu.

Loka samasta sukhino bhavantu.

Loka samasta sukhino bhavantu.

Loka samasta sukhino bhavantu.

Loka samasta sukhino bhavantu.

Let's start bringing our awareness back to our bodies.

And know that we just invited happiness and freedom into our lives.

That's so beautiful.

Whenever you feel comfortable you can open your eyes.

For most of that I had this huge smile on my face.

I don't know about you guys.

I hope you all can feel the happiness today.

I hope you all take that with you the rest of the day.

Remember that happiness is a mindset.

If we change our thoughts we can change our life.

Gotta love that.

Thank you Wayne Dyer.

Thank you so much for joining.

As always I love you guys so much.

From my heart to yours.

Namaste.
