Let's begin our day with a little bit of happy talk and meditation in this short yet impactful podcast designed to infuse a little bit of positivity into each moment of every day.
Let's get in the flow.
Now that the energy is evening out,
Right?
Now that it's evening out and it's kind of being different than it was,
You know,
Kind of crazy and unstable and not so productive it felt like,
I thought that now is a very good time to start our day out with a gratitude explosion.
I love calling it that because that's what today is going to be about.
We're going to explode with gratitude.
Doesn't that sound kind of counterproductive?
But right,
We need this tired of this weird energy,
Unbalanced,
Uneven,
You know,
And when we start our day out with a gratitude explosion or even remotely gratitude,
It changes how we are for the rest of the day.
It puts us in the present moment,
Which is great,
Right?
And then it like,
It helps to make your day brighter.
And then what happens is because your day is brighter,
The rest,
Like you project that out to the world and then their day might,
Other people out there,
Their days might be touched.
Even by just a smile,
You know that how much a smile can do?
How much can a smile do for somebody else that might be just struggling that little bit,
You know?
So we start out our day with this in this place of gratitude and it's like it spirals,
Keeps going and keeps going and keeps going.
So it's up to us.
Right?
So every morning when I get ready to meditate,
I usually get myself all situated in my chair and blah,
Blah,
Blah.
And then I close my eyes and what I end up doing is I start out by saying thank you.
Like I'll go to a mantra eventually or I'll do this or I'll do that,
You know,
In different because I,
You know,
I meditate differently a lot,
You know,
But I start out just while my body is getting relaxed.
I start out by saying thank you.
Thank you.
Right?
What's like better than saying thank you to the world?
So that's what we are going to do today in our meditation.
We are going to thank the universe for everything.
Let's get ourselves comfortable because we are going to have a gratitude explosion in our brains.
Doesn't that sound something right?
So all right,
So let's close our eyes,
Get yourself comfy and let's take a nice deep breath in,
Breathing in positivity,
Filling up every cell in our body with that positivity and release.
Perfect.
So here is our meditation challenge for today.
Going to lead you through some steps of gratitude.
So first off,
What is one thing that you are grateful for surrounding your family?
It could be your furry family.
It could be any part of your family.
So what is one thing that you are grateful for surrounding your family?
Just think about it in your mind and think about all the great things of that particular thing that you are grateful for.
Perfect.
Perfect.
So now I want you to think of something that you are grateful for surrounding your friends.
And it doesn't have to just be one.
It can be,
You can spout them off as fast as you can.
What is one thing about your friends that you are grateful for?
It could be the unconditional love that you have for each other.
It could be that you simply have that one friend that just lifts you up.
It could be that your group of friends is getting together this weekend or got together last weekend.
Whatever one thing that you are thankful for.
So our next question.
Think of something that you are grateful for surrounding your work.
Whatever it is that you do,
Whatever you do during the day,
If you don't work or if you're retired,
There's still work to be done.
So what is one thing that you are grateful for?
Actually,
It could be three or four or five things that you are grateful for about how you work.
It could be your job.
It could be any aspect of your day and how you create your day.
Okay,
And next,
What is one thing or several things that you are grateful for about the past weekend?
This past weekend,
What are a few things that you are grateful for about this past weekend?
There could be 20,
Right?
All right then,
Next,
Next,
Next,
Next.
Name something that you are grateful for generally in your life.
Actually,
It could be specific too,
But what is it that's about your life that you are extremely grateful for?
It could be that it rained and watered your plants yesterday.
It could be the fact that it was sunny yesterday for that matter.
Spout them off.
Okay,
And lastly,
The last question.
What is at least one thing that you are grateful for about you?
For example,
I am extraordinarily grateful for this opportunity to be with all of you.
I'm also extremely happy and grateful that I am sensitive to spirit.
So what is something about you,
A quality about you that you are thankful about?
Very good.
So now let's sit in the stillness for just a few minutes.
And our mantra today is thank you.

A life that we can be thankful for.
And go out in the world and spread.
