Namaste and welcome to the Spirit Rooms daily podcast,
In the Flow with Lori Albert,
Where we discuss spirituality,
Meditate,
And allow positivity to envelop every aspect of our souls.
Welcome.
I have a little secret.
Sometimes I really lack courage.
I know,
First of all,
You guys probably think,
Oh my God,
You do this like all the time,
You talk all the time.
But then you're probably also thinking,
Don't we all?
We all lack courage sometimes.
Seriously,
Obviously.
Okay,
So obviously we know that that's true.
But let me point something out here.
The definition of courage is the ability to do something that frightens us.
Wow.
You know,
When you put it like that,
That definition kind of swatch you on the head,
Doesn't it?
It does me.
Okay,
Yes,
That's interesting.
But I really,
Really want to point out another aspect to courage that we may not quite consider.
Don't you love when I do this?
Sometimes it's not about,
Now you know what,
I want to put that a different way.
Sometimes it's about having the courage to not do something and just accept that things are the way they are.
That too can be scary.
And you may need the courage,
Don't you think?
Courage can be about growing within ourselves just as much as it's about facing our fears to do something.
Interesting perspective,
Don't you think?
Consider that it takes courage to be who we know we are.
Isn't that an interesting thought?
It took so much courage for me to come out of the spiritual closet,
You could say,
And tell people that I see dead people.
I'm sure that everyone here has at least something along those lines.
That's true for them.
Let's then also consider that courage can also be about truth.
Yes,
I know,
You're thinking like,
What?
But really sometimes it can take courage for us to speak truth to people.
You know that maybe somebody doesn't want to hear something that you have to say that's important.
And you know that you should be the one to tell them whatever it is.
Now that is courage.
But let me just like sort of qualify that a little bit in that I don't mean like the petty stuff.
Like,
Hey,
Your skirt's too short or stuff like that.
I don't mean any stuff.
I mean like friends,
Trusted friends.
To me,
All of that extra stuff is that's whatever.
I don't mean the petty stuff.
I mean like having the courage to remind somebody to come at a situation,
Maybe from a place of love.
So I have this friend who broke up and had a bad relationship.
They broke up and everything.
That's great.
Then they started dating again.
And it took,
You know,
Because it's a fine line.
You don't want to like just say blah,
Blah,
Blah.
But it took everything in me.
That I had to remind her not to bring her bad things from that old relationship into the new one.
I mean,
In a sense,
It's kind of like coaching,
But not really,
You know.
Approach it all from a place of love.
I mean,
That was what I had.
And it was hard.
Like,
Because you never want to be pushy about stuff,
You know,
That kind of stuff.
But sometimes,
Sometimes you just need to speak the truth,
You know.
And you have to listen.
And I'm not saying everybody's supposed to go out and just say everything to everybody.
That's not what I'm saying at all.
I'm saying that like for the tried and trusted true friends that you count on each other for the truth.
I mean that kind of stuff.
Be logical.
You know,
Don't just walk up to somebody and say something,
You know,
Horrible,
Right?
But here's the other point.
I have to say this too.
This goes for ourselves too.
It can be very courageous to accept the truth about something regarding ourselves.
Whenever we really begin to understand ourselves on that deeper spiritual level,
That whole process can be incredibly courageous.
Think about that.
That whole process of speaking our truth to ourselves.
So how do we create that?
It's a process.
It's a process.
We have to go through it in our own time.
It's part of,
To me,
It's part of the awakening.
Accepting the truth about ourselves,
Accepting that we speak to dead people or we can feel the emotions of other people for those empaths out there.
Understanding that truth about ourselves,
That is one of the most courageous things that you can do.
We don't necessarily sometimes grasp that about ourselves.
We don't think that it's necessary.
We're so busy living our lives in the three dimensional world,
You know,
We don't look at it from another perspective.
So how do we do this?
Meditation,
Of course.
But I am talking about living the truth within yourself.
So there.
All right,
Now I've got the best.
Oh my God,
You guys are going to laugh with this meditation,
But it's awesome and I'm really excited about it.
This meditation,
The mantra is Eme,
Hreem,
Cleem.
I know you guys are going to be like,
Oh,
What now?
Eme,
Hreem,
Cleem,
I radiate confidence and strength.
Isn't that awesome?
Eme means that you are asking for guidance,
Asking for the guidance.
Eme is asking for it to come into our being,
Bring in the knowledge and Cleem allows it to come in.
Isn't that awesome?
I am confidence and strength.
Awesome.
Beautiful.
Absolutely gorgeous.
To me,
This is one,
To me,
It's kind of one of the most important,
I think,
Ones that,
You know,
Mantras that we can say.
So let's get ourselves comfy because we're going to meditate on this.
All right.
So close your eyes whenever it feels comfortable.
And let's take a nice deep breath in through our nose,
Breathing in confidence and courage and breathe out through your mouth.
Beautiful.
Eme,
Hreem,
Cleem.
We radiate confidence and strength.
Perfect.
Eme,
Hreem,
Cleem.
As we repeat this,
Let's give this all up to spirit.
Write spirit in to teach us the truth,
To help us to learn to be truth.
Eme,
Hreem,
Cleem.
Inviting this mantra into our hearts.
That strength,
Confidence.
Eme,
Hreem,
Cleem.
Let's begin.
Repeat the mantra over and over,
Inviting it into your hearts.
That beautiful strength and courage.
I will keep the time if you forget the mantra or you lose it,
That's absolutely fine.
Just come back to your breath.
Eme,
Hreem,
Cleem.
Eme,
Hreem,
Cleem.
Eme,
Hreem,
Cleem.
Eme,
Hreem,
Cleem.
Eme,
Hreem,
Cleem.
Eme,
Hreem,
Cleem.
Eme,
Hreem,
Cleem.
Eme,
Hreem,
Cleem.
Eme,
Hreem,
Cleem.
Eme,
Hreem,
Cleem.
Eme,
Hreem,
Cleem.
Eme,
Hreem,
Cleem.
Eme,
Hreem,
Cleem.
I radiate confidence and strength.
Let's start bringing our awareness back to our bodies and the chair we're sitting in.
Knowing that we can take this feeling of the confidence and the courage and the strength with us all day.
Let's take a final deep breath in and release.
Namaste.
