
Affirmations… Lots Of Them!

August is a month of balance and what better way to feel this balance than to invite in all the positive uplifting, affirmations to counteract any of the destructive emotions that linger in our brains. Hello and welcome to the Spirit Rooms podcast,
In the Flow with Lori Albert,
Where we talk about spirituality,
Manifestation,
And how to create and live our best lives.

And hello,
Here we are again.
Hope everybody's having a great day so far.
So today,
Here is my deal.
I am not an astrologer,
But I do follow it like quite a bit actually.
And seemingly,
I'm always finding these crazy synchronicities in what is happening with the universe and the planets,
And then with me,
Right?
So apparently,
This week is a time of divine inspiration.
Oh,
I'm serious.
Bring it on.
You know,
That's where my brain goes,
Right?
This is a time when we are supposed to trust our intuition and follow our hearts to go after our dreams.
Beautiful,
Right?
But I have to say that it kind of seems like lately that I keep hearing from so many people that they are having kind of a rough time following their heart and living their truth and even creating their dreams,
Right?
Because the brain stuff gets in the way,
Right?
I completely understand this feeling,
By the way.
But that doesn't make it any easier.
Because that's what we're supposed to do.
We're supposed to create our dreams,
Not struggle to have them become reality,
Right?
So today,
I'm so excited.
I am going to give you several affirmations,
Like several,
I mean like a ton of affirmations and in all different categories,
Kind of,
Okay?
So that you can pick ones,
One or more,
That you relate to,
Okay?
I want you to get your pen and paper and let's see which ones of these like hit you in the face kind of thing,
Right?
Okay,
I love doing this because I feel like as humans,
We should be lifting each other up and not pushing each other down,
You know?
And so this is why I love talking about affirmations and giving you new ones.
Because that's what it is,
You know?
Subtling onto maybe this new way of,
You know,
Sometimes it's just a word that will like,
You know,
Get you in a whole different frame of mind,
You know?
So all right,
Now,
If you see or if you feel rather,
If any of these affirmations like sort of strike you,
Okay?
If they do,
Take it and use it as much as you can,
You know,
Today or tomorrow or whatever,
Right?
So what I want you to do is pull out your pen and paper and I want you to write down any of these that feel right for you.
Like if the words strike you,
Okay?
Write it down.
Even if it doesn't feel like it's something for today,
You may feel a connection with it,
You know,
Like next week or something and then you can refer back to it,
Okay?
But obviously we're trying to find one for today that is just all over the place,
Okay?
For you.
All right,
Now,
The first category that we are going to talk about is our affirmations for happiness.
Yay,
Okay?
All right,
So here we go.
Here are my several.
All right.
First one is,
Today I get to choose to be happy.
Seriously.
And what's so cool about that one is you're choosing it.
You're kind of,
You know,
Sort of on purpose choosing it,
Okay?
So I love that.
Today I get to choose to be happy,
Okay?
Next one is,
My natural state is one of happiness and joy.
Man,
That's great.
You know?
If you say that to yourself,
Even if you don't really feel it,
But if you say it to yourself over and over again,
Your natural state will be one of happiness and joy,
Right?
So okay,
Next one.
I attract happy people,
Situations,
And thoughts.
Or you could say it,
I attract happy people,
Happy situations,
And happy thoughts.
Whichever way works for you better.
All right.
Next one,
Which is another fun one.
I am limitless joy.
Right?
That's pretty cool.
And you know what?
Again,
I was talking before about if sometimes it's just a word that strikes out to you,
Right?
Limitless is just an amazing word,
Right?
I am limitless joy.
Oh,
That's great.
Okay.
All right.
The next one is I deserve to be happy all day,
Every day.
Because guess what we do,
You know?
I deserve to be happy all day,
Every day.
Oh,
That's just great.
Okay.
So the next one,
The next sort of category here,
Okay?
These are affirmations to bring in positivity into your life.
All right.
So the first one of this is I release fear and invite in pure universal positivity into every aspect of my life.
You want me to say that again?
Yeah,
I think I should.
I release fear and invite in pure universal positivity into every aspect of my life.
Perfect.
Oh,
I love that.
Right?
I mean,
Who doesn't want posi.
.
.
Well,
I mean,
Maybe some people don't want positivity in every aspect of their life.
I'm there.
So,
All right.
So the next one is I create my world and today it will be wrapped in positivity.
Oh,
I like that one too.
Well,
I actually created at least some of these.
So of course I would like it,
Right?
It stuck out to me when I was putting them all together,
Right?

Okay.
So the next one is today I will view all situations from a lens of positivity.
And do you know what?
What I mean by that is,
Okay,
Taking a situation and turning it around to be positive.
If it's,
You know,
If it's a challenging situation or some sort of a negative situation,
Finding the positive.
Okay.
So today I will view all situations from the lens of positivity.
Cool.
Okay.
And then the last one in this particular category is my soul is infused with the light of spirit.
Oh my gosh.
Gorgeous.
Gorgeous.
Yay.
Okay.
So now next category.
This one is affirmations to release anxiety and fear.
Oh yeah.
These are big.
Okay.
My first one,
And this is my go-to.
This is actually my like main one that I focus on a lot.
I am courageous.
For me,
That's like mic drop.
It doesn't get any like,
It's just so powerful to me.
And again,
What's powerful to me might not be powerful to you,
But that's kind of my thing.
So,
All right.
So the next one is my mind is clear and determined.
How beautiful is that?
You know,
Especially to say to yourself when you're filled with like stress and anxiety,
My mind is clear and determined.
That's beautiful.
Okay.
So the next one is I am in control of my thoughts.
Yeah.
That one kind of hits you between the eyes.
Don't you think?
I am in control of my thoughts.
Yeah,
We are.
You can choose good thoughts or bad thoughts,
But you're in control,
Right?
Oof.
Yeah.
Okay.
Next one is miracles happen in my life every day.
Yay.
Yay.
That's a beautiful one too.
So,
Okay.
And then the last one in this category,
And again,
Write down if you feel like it makes sense for you,
Write it down,
You know,
Just in terms of not just right now,
But maybe,
You know,
In another on another day.
Okay.
So the last one in this category is today I put the past in the past and focus on staying present.
Yep.
Staying in the present moment is a fantastic way to get rid of anxiety.
Yeah.
So,
All right.
Next,
Are affirmations for balance.
Balance.
Okay.
First one for this is obviously I am centered and balanced.
And you know what?
You can say that to yourself as you're meditating.
You can say that to yourself as you're putting a project together or if you're,
You know,
Creating something,
Whatever it is.
I am centered and balanced.
Yeah.
So,
Okay.
Next one is I am creating a life that inspires me and is fulfilling.
Yeah.
Yep.
Yep.
And then,
And then this one kind of goes along with the last one.
My world is clear and in harmony with my spirit.
I you know what,
For me,
That's like one of the ones that I,
It's not like,
Like I'm courageous for me,
But that one,
My world is clear and in harmony with my spirit.
Oh my gosh.
For me,
That's like a,
That's like another big one.
It's kind of a peaceful one,
But it's one that I love nonetheless.
Right.
Okay.
I embrace my ability to be flexible.
Hmm.
Yeah.
I wonder how many of you grasp onto that one,
Right?
Because that's kind of a difficult one too.
All right.
And then the last one for balance is things always work out for me.
Yep.
I have a friend who that is her like go to affirmation.
Things always work out for me.
And she just says that to herself all the time.
I mean,
That's kind of her,
I am courageous,
You know,
There's always going to be one that is kind of like hits your underlying who you are.
Right.
Okay.
All right.
So the next one is self love.
Okay.
And now self love.
This isn't about having like a large ego or anything.
This is about having a healthy love for yourself.
There are so many of us that don't really like ourselves.
I'm just saying don't really love ourselves.
Okay.
All right.
So here we go.
I am perfect just as I am.
Yeah.
Right.
Hmm.
That one hit my heart too,
You know.
The next one is I love myself.
Okay.
And I feel led to express about and if you're familiar or not familiar with mirror work,
You know,
Mirror work is when you look in the mirror and you say,
You say the affirmation to yourself,
Looking yourself in the eye.
Okay.
So what you can do in terms of that exercise,
You can look at yourself in the mirror and say,
I love you.
Yeah.
It's it can be pretty,
Pretty dramatic when you do that.
So yeah.
Okay.
The next one is I am unique,
Special and deserving of love.
Like that.
Okay.
And then the next one is simply all is well.
All is well.
You know?
Oh yeah.
Okay.
And then here's another one.
I am grateful for who I am,
Who I am not and who I strive to be.
And you may have heard me say that one recently because that one keeps coming up in all of the,
The all of the different things that I'm talking about lately.
It seems to be coming up a lot.
And then the last one is I accept all of me.
Yeah.
Okay.
All right now.
Next one is,
And this is the last one is joy.
Yay.
Affirmations for joy.
Okay.
So here we go.
I shape my reality and today I choose joy.
Yeah.
I shape my reality and today I choose joy.
Beautiful.
Okay.
And then the next one is I am grateful for my entire life.
The good,
The lessons and the love.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Okay.
And then simply I am bliss.
I love another one where the words matter.
The word bliss.
Seriously.
Oh my God.
That's like the highest form of joy that you can have.
Right.
Okay.
Next one is I delight in all the joys of my life.
Yay.
That's a nice one too.
All right.
So then the last one of this category is happiness is who I am.
Oh,
Right.
What a great way to sort of bring everything around.
Okay.
Happiness is who I am.
Now you know what you could do with that.
You know,
If you want to change that around a little bit,
You could say joy is who I am.
Love is who I am.
Courage is who I am.
You could put any word in there too.
Mm hmm.
Beautiful.
Okay.
So I think that is a great amount of these to choose from for now.
You know,
If you wrote one down and you feel drawn to it,
Awesome.
Fantastic.
You know,
Because that's what you want.
You want to choose the one that feels like completely hits you in your heart right now.
Okay.
So let's take the one that we chose.
It feels right for us.
And now we're going to use it as our mantra in meditation.
Okay.
And we're not going to do this for very long.
Okay.
Just a few minutes.
Okay.
So let's close our eyes.
Relax our bodies.
And as we start to have our breath be rhythmic and take these first breaths,
Let's invite in our mantra or affirmation to become part of who we are.
So if your affirmation would be,
I am courageous,
Start to allow it to penetrate every aspect of your body,
Your soul,
Every cell.
Very good.
Now we're just going to sit in the stillness for a few minutes,
Repeating our mantra over and over.
Okay.

For teaching us ways.
To light our souls with positivity and love and joy and gratitude.
We thank you,
Spirit,
For this time to focus on the amazing things that we have in our lives.
