As we begin this sensory guided visualization experience,
I just invite you to get into a comfortable spot,
Comfortable position,
Whether you're lying down or sitting comfortably on the chair,
Just like crossing your legs,
Your arms,
Ensuring that your head is just resting comfortably,
Closing your eyes,
Just bringing awareness to your breath.
Just noticing this breath,
Whether this breath is feeling calm,
You're breathing a bit more slowly or if this breath has a bit more rapidness to this,
Whatever it is,
Just bringing attention to your breath,
Noticing perhaps how your breath is reacting to how you're feeling in your body or your mind.
Just simply noticing it,
Not thinking too much about why,
But just continuing to focus on that breath,
Just allowing it to just find a comfortable pace that feels good within your body.
Just noticing any outside noises that you hear and just allowing any of these noises to just bring you deeper and deeper into relaxation,
Noticing any tension throughout your body and just allowing with each and every breath to just invite this tension to leave your body with each and every exhale and just each and every inhale,
Breathing in a new sense of calmness,
Sense of ease,
Just allowing the sound of my voice to guide you deeper,
Deeper into relaxation now.
As you're focusing on this breath,
You can just begin to imagine a beautiful light blue,
Like crystal blue light beginning to surround your body.
Just feeling with each and every breath that you inhale that you're just inhaling this beautiful crystal blue light.
Each and every inhale,
Perhaps noticing a new calmness to your breath,
Perhaps some fluttering of your eyes and just recognizing just how deeply relaxed you are,
Allowing any other physical sensations to just simply melt away with each and every exhale that you take.
As you lie there deeply relaxed,
You can begin to invite the words into your mind,
The words calm and relaxed.
Perhaps begin to repeat them in your mind or simply visualize them.
Just slowly repeating these words calm and relaxed in your mind,
Slowly,
Softly,
Soothingly over and over these words of calm and relaxed.
With each repetition of these words calm and relaxed,
You will begin to feel even more calm and relaxed,
Feeling the sense of the meanings of these words calm and relaxed,
Just simply entering your mind,
Just feeling the feeling of calm and relaxation throughout your entire body.
If it starts in your mind,
Just simply flows to each and every part of your body,
Whether it's through this beautiful crystal blue light or through your bloodstream flowing to each and every part of your body,
Just so that it's reaching each and every cell in your body,
The top of your head,
The tips of your toes,
Calm and relaxed,
Feeling of calm and relaxation.
I invite you now to just begin visualizing in your mind's eye a blackboard,
Just noticing in front of this blackboard a piece of white chalk.
I invite you now to take this white chalk in your hand,
Just begin writing on this chalkboard within your mind's eye over and over until you feel the chalkboard.
You can just begin writing calm and relaxed,
Calm and relaxed,
Just simply feeling this board,
This entire blackboard,
This piece of white chalk,
Calm and relaxed.
Once you've filled up this entire blackboard,
Just simply place down this piece of chalk,
Find yourself in your mind's eye,
Perhaps sitting down,
Laying down,
Whatever it is,
Just beginning to feel this relaxation now in your mind and throughout your body,
Just finding space within your mind's eye where you feel truly calm and relaxed,
Knowing that your mind is connected to these feelings and knowing that each and every inch of your body of your being,
This feeling of calm and relaxation that's flowing throughout your body and your mind is in fact strengthening and just feeding your mind and body with a deeper sense of calm and relaxation,
Realizing that within yourself,
Within your mind,
Your body,
You're sucked into these own resources,
Giving yourself that strength of calm and relaxation,
Allowing you to do the task at hand,
Whatever it is,
Whether it be writing the words calm and relaxed on the chalkboard within your mind's eye or preparing for a big life transition or perhaps being on the other end of a huge life transition where you've experienced or are experiencing moments of chaos,
Of settling into a new phase,
Moving in and out of transition periods within this part of your life,
The continuous parts of your life to come,
No matter what it is you're doing that you can simply trust in your subconscious mind,
Your body,
Your intelligence,
Knowing that you have the sense of calmness and relaxation in every inch,
Every part of your being,
Knowing that you have these resources to simply relax and do things with calmness even when these moments of chaos moving into transition,
Exiting transition period into your new normal,
Whatever it is,
That you have this knowingness within yourself,
That you have these resources of your own to strengthen yourself,
To enable yourself to remain strong and calm and relaxed.
And now you're just simply more aware of the ability that you do have within yourself to carry the sense of calm and relaxation.
I invite you now to just bring your intention back to this blackboard that you just wrote,
Calm and relaxed all over with this white chalk.
You may notice now that the words on that chalkboard are no longer there.
They're actually erased and that's okay because you have this sense of calm and relaxation within your being.
You may notice now a projection from somewhere behind you,
Just simply projecting perhaps a visualization onto this blackboard.
This is even projecting a feeling into your body.
I'm not sure exactly what you'll experience here,
But you can begin to visualize,
You can begin to feel whatever it is you had written down before this session,
Just embodying this new sense of calmness,
Just visualizing here what it would look like,
Perhaps feeling what it would feel like.
Just noticing now what you see and what you feel,
Noticing yourself experiencing this new sense of calmness,
Noticing how you're embodying this new sense of calmness,
Relaxation and strength and nourishment.
Just knowing now whatever it is you see around you,
Whatever it is you feel within yourself that you still have these beautiful moments and visualizations within yourself,
Within your life,
Those feelings within your body that allow you to just connect to this deep sense of embodied calmness.
This feeling of calmness will just continue to grow in your everyday life from moment to moment.
Just like a flower continues to grow,
Even though you can't see the growth from moment to moment,
Just as an underground river continues to flow strong and at ease,
Even when you're standing on the ground on top of it and completely unaware of this underground river,
Just like those things within yourself,
You will continue to maybe feel or not always notice these feelings of growth,
These feelings of strength and calmness,
Just inviting in a new appreciation,
A self-appreciation for this calmness and this acceptance that you can do hard things,
You can get through chaotic things.
A lot of things that might seem small can be disruptive and you can feel into this place of acknowledgement that I'm going through a period of time where things are transitioning,
Things are changing,
Things are different from what I thought they'd be and I can carry this sense of calmness.
Whenever I need to use it,
I can feel it and I have this freedom to sit with the unsettling feelings,
To sit with this disruption as I acknowledge it and also tap into this feeling of calmness when I need it most.
Just taking another moment to just truly feel what it feels like to visualize what it looks like for you to truly embody a new sense of calmness in your everyday,
In your mind,
In your body,
Just knowing that this embodiment of this new sense of calmness is always with you.
You can thank your subconscious mind for showing you exactly what it is you needed to see and experience here today.
Thank you subconscious mind.
And in a moment,
We'll count up from zero to five.
At the count of five,
You will be wide awake,
Feeling better than you have in a very long time.
Zero,
Going deeper still,
One,
Feeling good,
Very calm and relaxed,
Coming out slowly,
Two,
Trusting the process and the sense of knowingness and the sense of calmness that you have in your body and your mind that it will continue to stay with you.
Three,
Starting to feel as if you're waking up from a long,
Relaxing nap and washing your face with cool spring water,
Feeling so refreshed.
Four,
Becoming more and more aware of your surroundings.
And five,
Eyes wide open,
Wide awake,
Feeling better than you have in a very long time.
