This is a 7-minute guided practice you can listen to any time of the day. It's a great morning meditation to set the tone for your day, mid-day reset or even to help wind down after a long day. Slow down your breath, and connect with your inner peace.

Take a moment to find a comfortable seat.

You can sit on the floor or lay down wherever you're going to be most comfortable.

Close your eyes.

Take a deep breath in through your nose.

And let out a sigh as you exhale out through your mouth.

Do that again.

Take a nice full belly breath in,

Filling up your belly,

Your lungs,

The heart,

All the way to the crown of the head.

Sip in one more breath.

Release out through your mouth.

Good.

Inhale fully through your nose.

Breathing in light,

Peace,

Tranquility.

And soften as you sigh out,

Relaxing your elbows,

Your forearms,

Wrists and fingers.

Just allow your body to soften.

Release tension in your face,

Softening around your temples.

Just allowing yourself a few moments to just be present.

Be here now.

Relaxing your nice,

Slow inhales and soft cleansing exhales.

You can allow your breath to be soft,

Soften your hips.

Release any tension around your knees,

Your calves.

Open your ankles and toes.

Just allow whatever thoughts that come up,

Come up.

And then allow them to go like clouds in the sky.

Breathing back to this peaceful moment you carved out for yourself.

Take your attention on your heart center.

Take a deep breath into your heart,

Inhale.

Just imagine a light filling up your heart space and exhale,

Sending that light out all around your body.

Do that again,

Nice full belly breath in,

Breathing into your heart,

Filling it with a beautiful healing light.

Release that light out into the room you're in.

Allowing whatever changes that are going on in your mind,

In your life,

To just be as they are.

Just remember to soften,

To remember your light.

This begins with you.

Just take a body scan and notice if you're holding any tension anywhere.

And if you still are,

Let's take another deep breath together.

Building those areas with light,

Kindness,

And letting it all go.

Take a moment of gratitude for this peaceful moment.

Maybe you can think of one other thing you're grateful for in your life today.

Allow that gratitude to open your heart to receive even more light,

Even more love and kindness.

Slowly start to blink open your eyes.

Notice how you feel.

You can start to sit up tall.

Lift the heart,

Shine your light,

And know that all is well.

You can return to this meditation anytime you need to,

Just to slow down,

To reset,

And come back home to your light.
