Find a quiet comfortable space where you can relax without interruption.
Sit or lie down in a comfortable position,
Whatever feels comfortable for you.
Close the eyes,
Take a deep breath and slowly exhale.
Begin by bringing your awareness to your breath.
Notice the natural rhythm of your breathing.
Inhaling deeply through your nose,
Feeling your lungs expand,
Followed by a slow exhale.
With each breath,
Allow yourself to become more present in this moment.
Imagining the roots growing from the base of your spine deep into the earth,
Feeling the stability and the support from the ground beneath you.
Relaxing every muscle in the body,
Melting into the surface beneath you,
Finding complete total relaxation in this moment.
Now visualize a place where you feel completely safe and at ease.
It could be a real location or an imaginary sanctuary.
See the details of this place,
The colors,
The textures,
The sounds and smells.
Just notice.
This is your personal sanctuary,
A space where you are protected and free from any external pressures.
In this safe space,
Imagine a soft glowing light surrounding your body.
This light represents your personal boundaries.
It can be any color,
Any color that resonates with you.
Feel the warmth and protection of this light as it envelops you.
As you continue breathing deeply,
Imagine this light expanding to form a protective barrier around you.
This barrier represents your boundaries.
It's strong and flexible,
Allowing positive energy to flow in but keeping negative energy out.
Softly or silently repeat the following affirmations.
I respect my personal boundaries and honor my needs.
I have the right to say no without feeling guilty.
My boundaries protect my well-being and help me maintain healthy relationships.
I am in control of my space and my energy.
I deserve to be treated with respect and kindness.
Feel the power of these affirmations reinforcing your boundaries,
Making them stronger and more defined.
Now visualize a situation where you may need to assert your boundaries.
See yourself confidently expressing your needs and limits.
Imagine the other person responding respectfully and understanding your position.
Feel the strength and clarity in your voice as you communicate your boundaries.
Notice how maintaining these boundaries enhances your sense of peace and self-respect.
Begin to bring your awareness back to the present moment when you're ready.
Maybe wiggling your fingers and your toes.
