This audio is to help people manage pain, fear, and anxiety around going to the bathroom. If you struggle with IBS, constipation, diarrhea, hemorrhoids, fissures, post-surgery, or bladder issues, this can be used while you try to have a bowel movement or empty your bladder. This is a new ailment for me and I hope to be able to help others in some small way to cope with this daily and often chronic issue. Be well, my friends! Hello.

This meditation is to help relax you as you try to release your bowels or your bladder.

Sit calmly.

Take a deep breath in.

And release.

Take another deep breath in.

And release.

Focus your attention on your bladder or your intestines.

Imagine that they are ready to open up and let go.

Continue to breathe a little deeper than you usually breathe.

Relax your shoulders and your hips and your pelvic area.

Calm.

Imagine as things flow smoothly through your intestines.

And let it go.

Don't push.

Don't hold.

Just release.

Relax.

Imagine as things flow smoothly through your intestines.

Imagine as things flow smoothly through your intestines.

And out without any pain.

Continue to breathe naturally.

And focus deeply on relaxing your body.

If after a few minutes you are still unable to let go,

Calmly and without shame and without guilt and without hurry,

Slowly stand up and walk around.

Continue breathing and relaxing your body.

And when you are ready and you feel the urge and the need,

Return to the bathroom and sit calmly.

Take a few deep breaths and start again.

This is not permanent.

This is not painful.

This is natural.

And my body wants to let go.
